ActionScript 2.0 :: Calculating Own Live Time And Displaying It

I want to calculate how much years, months, days, hours, minutes and seconds I live from my date of birth and display this in flash (like live tracking). How can I do that?
I'm noticing a 13-16 second delay with live streams to iOS devices. Is there any way to improve this delay time by modifying the Event.xml parameters or the Apache hlshttp_module parameters in httpd.conf?
I'm currently doin a project which is to make a countdown timer where a user can input a date for submitting assignments, and timer tells another user how much time is left....What type of help can people give me for AS2 Code to give me the ability to do this.

The game is like Asteroids where four rocks are placed in the corners of the stage at the beginning and then start moving randomly around the stage. The problem is the timer used is started the moment that the flash file starts not the moment the player clicks the start button. So if you are on the start screen for 5 seconds before you click play when the game actually begins the rocks are where they would be after 5 seconds of play, which could be right over the player.
I am developing a game for mobile in AIR (as3). I have created some bots for this game that initially just wander around. But when a bonus enters the stage, they have to move to the bonus.The detection of a new bonus and moving of the bots works fine, but there is something wrong with the manipulation when a new bonus enters the stage.Basically, this is how it works (or I try to make it work):My bot moves along with his rotation as a parameter. I've created a swf for a component live preview. The live preview appears to work ok when creating a new component, and setting the live preview in the component definition panel.
When I update an existing component definition (in a separate component library FLA) the live preview does not work. The strange thing is if I copy the entire (component FLA) library and paste it into a new FLA it works fine (although in doing so I receive a whole bunch of errors in the output window saying - Plugin tool script error in method ik_isIKContainer).
I'm pretty new to flash media server (and adobe technologies in general). I have an Air app that publishes a camera stream to the server, that can be played live by the same app on another computer/device. I would like to record to disk all audio/video passing through the server (on the server side) while streaming it at the same time. How can I accomplish this?
I have a time line of 1441 frames. My frameRate is 24 fps. So it takes 1 minute exactly to complete the timeline animation. I want to Display the Remaining time as file starts. I need formula to place in ENTER_FRAME event which displays the time left.
I've read suggest naming the stream in the FMLE to something like mp4:mystream.mp4 or mp4:mystream.f4v but then you can no longer view the stream, and according my the admin console the stream will not even publish using this syntax.
I can view the published stream if I name the FMLE stream to something like mystream.mp4 or just mystream, but then it doesn't record at all or records as a FLV file depending on how I code the main.asc file.
How can you change this to where when the page is loaded it does not say (loading) and it will say (No live video streams) you can view archived videos. Is this on the server FMS Interactive in the configuration or can it be done from the code inserted above?
I have been trying to create a countdown timer but i cant seem to get the time to display, the first time i tried only letters where displayed instead of the number and after playing around now I only get the :'s (between the numbers) to display and the occasion '0' appears?[code]...
I am testing files for a project and am wondering if it's possible to print out to the screen what time it was COMPILED, so I can then create a build number. I can't use get date or anything like that, becauise it will update at runtime. I need it to, once set, stay in place, so I then know exactly which version I am looking at. I could look at the dates of the files, but really need to get it on screen.
I'm having a reliability problem with publishing live, h.264 streams from FFMPEG (using the rtmp publish ability now built into FFMPEG, where I can set an rtmp address as the output).After a random period of time (usually between an hour and several hours), the default "live" application in FMS 4 (or 3.5) eventually drops the connection from the FFMPEG encoder. This is what appears in the log for the application:"Dropping application (live/_definst_) message. Clients not allowed to broadcast message."After googling the error, I discovered that people have been reporting this error for several years, but there has not been a single response from any FMS experts or Adobe about what causes the error.
I have a text box layer on top of the talk bubble. At first it is blank, then I click on Hello Kitty and a random phrase pops up in the text box from the array I created. However, when I click her again she will not say another random phrase. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Here is the code.

I have a ComboBox in Flex with about 20 items. How do I display all of them in a dropdown with no scroll bar? Right now, Flex displays 5 at a time in the dropdown and puts a scrollbar to scroll for more.Here's an example:

I created a game in AS3 using a tutorial written for AS2 but I can't get the timer working correctly. The game contains 3 frames, a start screen, game loop, and end screen. the timer starts on frame 2, and counts down (tested this with a trace). When the timer reaches 0 I want to go to frame 3 which is the end game screen but my code isn't working.

Im trying to make a flash music player, and im having trouble displaying the length of the track and the time played. Here is the actionscript used, all it does is give me undefined/undefined. Im using flash mx 2004 pro.

When using the Pencil Tool in Flash CS4 the line does not appear until after I've released the left mouse button or Wacom Pen nib. In other words you can write on a blank page the letter A but it only becomes visible after releasing the mouse button. with this code every new scene the bar starts again and since I don't have exacts 100 frames on my movie the bar size dosen't match?
As the title says I am looking for a loop sequence to search through my array and find values that are even and then calculate them with a button click. I have this code which is completely wrong:
I'm trying to calculate the distance between two images (A and F - there are other images between A and F) but I can't seem to figure out how to do it the right way. The image A.x is "(stage/2) - (A.width/2)" and image F.x is "E.x - imgSpace" which is a negative value (all the images x is of negative value to image A.x). In my oppinion the calculation is F.x - A.x and although it might be right I still ned the value to be non-negative.
