ActionScript 2.0 :: Carousel Menu Once Again?
Mar 5, 2009i am working on a modified version of the gotoandlearn xml carousel menu and i would like to add a stationary logo in the middle.If i just place a MC in the middle of the stage it won't work because the icons go right through because the carousel is the the highest depth, also when i click on one and load my external swf the MC in the middle just stays in the middle of the page.How do i place the object in the middle at the same depth of the icons and make it disappear(_alpha function?) when i load the external swf with the xml?Does it have to be loaded with the xml or could it be just place there in the middle of the carousel?

Jun 21, 2007I'm stuck with why this carousel menu will not move - its done in the same way the carousel is made on gotoAndLearn - I'm using Flash MX if that makes any difference and I've attached the .fla file.

For now, I have it set up so that if someone clicks one of the menu items, the output window say "commited suicide after being cyberbullied", what I want to do is either have different text (that shows in the window) for each of the eight menu items when clicked, or 8 different URL links for each of the menu items, when clicked.

Jul 13, 2009how this is accomplished?[URL] In this site, if you drag the "sun" back and forth, you spin the tickets. I've done something similar in as2, with the carousel effect. What I'm really interested in is how, when you release the "sun", the tickets don't stop spinning until the one closest to the middle of the stage is directly in the middle of the stage. I've been trying to accomplish this with a some scrollable thumbnails. But when you release the arrow keys, it stops where ever it was on MOUSE_UP.

Professional :: Create A Flash Program That Uses It's Own Code To Send And Create Images?
Sep 29, 2010I'm trying to create a flash program that uses it's own code to send and create images. Each square has a colour and that colour gets added into the array. A black, then grey, then white is:
filecode = ["Bl", "Gr", "Wh"];
That works fine, but when I try to paste it into an Input text box it will only fill in the first part of the array.
filecode = ["Bl,Gr,Wh"];
So the program has NO idea what I want.The only ways I can think of fixing this is by putting in 402 text boxes to suit every box...But every one of them needs a Variable Name.Or by sending the information straight into the array. But this way you are just looking at what you just drew, and that is not at ALL practical.
