ActionScript 2.0 :: Load Movie Transitions?

The transition when you for example are in the HOMEPAGE then when clicking on the OTHER menu LINKS for example ("GALLERY") a transition either moves away or fades 1st the homepage then the SECOND page which in this case would be the GALLERY for example... fades in or appears in.. How can i find a way sooo that i can do that in actionscript.nsitions like that?? And be able to do it with the rest of the links.. u know how if i go to "contact" then it will 1st fade out the page i was looking at then the other appears in or fades in.?

I have a problem with buttons and transitions.I have two buttons onstage (they're inside a movie clip) inside the movie, on the button one I have the following code:

I have similar code on button two and this does indeed make the buttons move into place as required. My problem is this, I need to load in external swf files into an empty movie clip on the main stage called container. These External SWF files have transitions and this is where my problem is. If I place a normal button on the stage it works but not if the button is inside a movie clip and has actions applied as above. The code next is what I have believe should also be placed on the button to make swf transition one load in.

Obviously a similar code would be placed on button two so the transitions could take place.I am uploading my file so you can see exactly what I am talking about. I've been using Claudio's tutorial titled "Preloader & Transitions for Dynamic Files" and everything is working okay except for one minor detail.
First off, what i am doing is loading external SWF headers on my site. Each of these headers are animated.
Once the Transition Shutter Mask closes and loads the next header, it starts playing the external header animation immediately rather than waiting for the Transition Shutter Mask to fully open and then start playing the animation.
So as a result, users are missing the beginning parts of each animation.
Also, I noticed that after I uploaded it to test the preloading, I missed more of the Header Animations due to the loading time difference. This means that I can not just insert the exact amount of blank frames, in which the shutter takes to close, to the beginning of each header animation.

I have a flash piece that I programmed last year in CS4 and now I had to change a little bit of the content, nothing code related, just modify an image. Now I'm using CS5 but when I try to publish the movie, I get an error: Can't load class or interface mx.transitions.BroadcasterMX' (I'm translating fom spanish)I have reduced the fla to the minimal expression. just a frame with the following AS:import mx.transitions.Tween;import mx.transitions.easing.*;new Tween(MCcore, "_y", None.easeNone, MCcore._y, 0, 2, true);stop();Where MCcore is just a square in the bottom of the screen that should move to the top.I've checked that BroadcasterMX is in the correct path of the hard drive and is not corrupted.

I am using flex sdk 4.5 to develop my project. I need to use the generic Tweening packages in As3 but when I import these packages

while compilation the sdk tell, it cannot find the upper packages.

I have a flash movie located here: URL...and it's preloader here: URL... (which I built based on the video tutorial from this site)The problem lies in how the preloader transitions to the main movie. When the preloader is done loading the movie and therefore plays the movie, instead of playing from the beginning of the movie, it instead skips to frame 26 or so, 1 second into the movie. Which is where the filigree animation begins to play. Upon reloading the preloader.swf it usually plays correctly the second time around. I cannot figure out why it is doing this, my only theory is that the main movie is somewhat playing in the background? I really don't have any idea to be honest.

I thought of making each phase inside "content" a movie clip, adding all the even listeners in the main actions layer and also adding the transitions there too.
When X even listener is pressed in X movie clip pointing to Y movie clip, fade out X using an e.target tween and somehow fetch the Y info and fade that movie clip in.

I recreated Voestjoeba's tutorial on "Transitions between external swf" here on Kirupa, with ease, but what I am trying to accomplish, may be out of the scope of that tutorial. If you take a look at [URL] , the page is made with frames, and the movie at the top (the navigation) appears to be acting on the same concept as what Voestjoeba created. I'm trying to mix and match the code from the tutorial to recreate what is happening on the xango site, for a page I am creating, and needless to say, i'm backed up two days, and have hit a roadblock.

I'm building a flash player that loads various movie clips in succession depending on user input. The player should continue to play seamlessly when one clip ends and another starts playing, however there is always a slight noticeable delay between the COMPLETE event for one clip and the actual playing of the next clip. I am using the FLVPlayback component to load the video clips, with successive clips loaded in different players in the component.
I've tried playing the next video a short duration before the current video finishes by adding a cue point just before the end of the currently running clip (about 200 - 300 ms before the end). This improves matters somewhat, but it is not a reliable method as the timings are different for different browsers and computer specs. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with smooth transitions between external video clips and could suggest possible optimizations I could use to improve the transitions.

Using the easing transitions I simply move the _y of several movie clips. It is ok but their starting positions are always from the top of my stage, even if I fix their positions at the bottom.

I have just completed the "Transitions Between External SWFs" tutorial and I'm now I'm at the stage of altering a few things in there to suit my needs. But I've run into a problem...For my buttons, intead of "Button" symbols, I want to use "Movie Clip" symbols - reason being is that I've got some specially animated Movie Clip buttons that I wish to use.To get this... err "working"... with my Movie Clip buttons I have needed to use "_root." when referencing to the container Movie Clip. Now that works to an extent, but for some reason each button plays only "red.swf" even when there is no mention of it in the ActionScript and is instructed to play "blue" for example ("red.swf" happens to be the first appearing movie).Normal method with Button - works fine!

i'm having this weird pb i don't understand, could someone help me? i'm driving crazy here..what i do is load a movie from a movie but the 2nd movie load a variable. when i test the 2nd movie, it loads its variable and displays it as wanted, but when i load it from the 1st movie, the 2nd movie loads but seem not to load anymore its variable..

I'm currently making an animation which will eventually exceed the 16,000 frame limit (don't ask haha), so, short of making two movies and having to just start up the next one, what is the code for loading a movie? I presume they need to be in the same directory? So basically all I want is on the last frame of the movie the code executes and the second movie file opens up and starts. I guess I'd want the current movie to close, too.

I Have 3 Movies:MAIN.SWF, contains loading movie actions for Nav.swf and Home.swf.NAV.SWF, contains navagation menu loaded on Level 2 in Main HOME.SWF, contains slideshow for home page loaded on Level 1 in Main In NAV.SWF, there is a MOVIE CLIP "graphmc", which contains a BUTTON "graphicbtn", When this button is clicked, I'd like the HOME.SWF (which is loaded into Main.swf on Level 1) to fade out and unload, and load and fade in Graphics.SWF in place of it.

I am pulling double duty with this question as it serves two purposes. I am developing a total flash controlled ad system for myself, but also need to use the same theory for a project for work.
Concept: I have a main movie (ad rotator system) that I then want to randomly load other swf's (individual ads) into this main swf after a set period of time. The random load I got set no problem. The problem I am having is to get it to move to the new Frame label of the main movie which then loads the smaller swfs. I am using the LoadMovie with nInterval time delay command in flash to load the movies.

I am making a flipping page book in flash and have had to create sections in different movies because it kept crashing when i tried to have all the pages in the same movie. I have 3 movies 'page flip4', 'pageflip4-2', and 'page flip 4-3' . I have used the code below to go (flip bacwards) from 'page flip4-2' to the frame label ''backflip'' in 'page flip4'..This works fine

Does someone have a working fla to illustrate how to load an external movie and zoom and pan to specific location of this movie (with easing)? With actionscript, not necessarily with a control for the user. I am looking for it for some time and unfortunately my programming abilities are not yet sufficient to find it out from scratch (but I am working on it).

I'm trying to do a demo with a fastforward button and a rewind button that will go to the next scene and previous scene...however, due to the format that my predecessor created used...I'm stuck with alot of scenes. The navbar (ff and rewind buttons) is in a .swf file called main. The actual demo is in demo3.swf. I created a loader scene to redirect to the correct scene (when ff and rewind are hit), but I'm not sure how to pass the variables needed from the main movie.

I have a movie. In it are some buttons and a dynamic text field. When I press the buttons is should load text from a database into the dynamic text field. If I run the movie by itself (ie. not by LoadMovie()-ing it into a different movie) the dynamic text field gets filled with text and all is well and good. However, when I use LoadMovie() to load this very same movie into my main movie, the buttons no longer work; the text field stays empty.

Let say A is the main movie and B will be a external swf file that i'm going to load into A movie. The problems is that, some actionscript(AS) in my B movie is not working anymore after i load it into A movie. I believe that the AS in my B movie is not working anymore because it is refer to A as the _root instead of B movie as _root. This can be a common problem. So, i wonder what should i change in the B movie AS in order to make it work in A movie.

Second problem, in testing.fla in layer OKSID, i have mcOksid and mcOksid2. Know if i change color of mcOksid to blue, mcOksid2 has to be blue too.

What I'd like to do is have a checkbox, that when it is checked it loads a movie into an empty movie clip, and when it is unchecked, it loads a different movie into the empty movie clip.Also if possible I'd like to find a way to output to a variable whether the same checkbox is checked or not. And send the info from the variable in an email.
