ActionScript 2.0 :: MX: Quick-check An Array For "true" In All Fields?

I have an array that I want to check with a "setInterval"-triggered function.Is there a way to do something like an "IF"-check on all entries / fields of an array? The array contains the feedback from another function, so each field can only be "true" or "false".
What I want is something like this:
IF (all values from array X == true) {
// [stuff]
}
Only way I can think of is to set a dummy variable to "true", do a for-loop through the array and check for "false" and if any of the entries is "false", the dummy will be set to "false", too- otherwise it will remain "true"...

I'm making a simple program in Flash MX 2004 and I can't figure out if what I'm trying to do is possible.I have an animation of a card flipping over. It's a movie clip with a dynamic text field placed on it.It animates fine, but the text only shows up when the animation stops, not while it's moving.Is it possible to have a dynamic text field actually move with the animation? I am receiving xml from a webservice call that contains a nil="true":[code]I used the Flex DataService (webservice) wizard to create the service objects for the cacheEntry component. This object will be serialized later on a different webservice call and stored in a database.I set a breakpoint on the set SystemFK method in the service object. It appears that the value passed in was an empty string!Allowing this value to be an empty string will cause problems in the webservice implementation in Java on the other side. Since the database value was null it is expecting a null in return, If I avoid setting this value, the serviceObject should send back a null which will make the database happy.How can I detect that a nil = true is present in the XML in order to avoid setting this value?

I'm trying to figure out how to generate an array whose elements are each arrays to make a quick loading database of sorts.the main array could essentially be something like "employees" while each employee would have demographic data like age, salary, gender, etc.In some cases the information on some employees would be greater than others, and options created by "push" would imply the number of elements within each employee array would be variable until generated.[code]But I get the feeling this type of array as it is currently described doesn't lend itself well to adding new elements in the way I've described.My goal is once an employee's information has been entered and saved, I can call up their info by array number like aEmployee[2], and if employee 2's name is Bob, then Bob's name would appear in the text field, along with all the other fields related to Bob's array, such as being male, 42 years old, and living in Witchita Kansas.Would I modify a multidimensional array, or do I want an array within an array, and is there a way to add "arrays" as elements?

ok I dont get it... I have a simple contact form, and a basic if/else to check if certain fields have been left blank... if they have frame two displays an error message, if filled in then it posts the vars and goes to frame three thanking the user. For some reason this code ALWAYS returns false:

I have 3 input texts on the stage.
money_input
percent_input
years_input
what I want after pressing the button (calculate_btn)is to get thees values entered from these input texts into 3 vaiables.
var $money
var $percent
var $years
and check if the inputs are numbers only not string not empty. I tried to convert the inputs to numbers to insure that they are numbers without making a function to check the inputs but always I get NaN when I entr value like 444bb;

I have an array. I have a button, when I press on it I want to be able to loop through every item in the array and see if EVERY item is equal to true, if so I want something to happen.
var allIsTrue = false;
_global.myArray = [false, true, false, true, false, true, false, false, false, false, false, false, false,false,false,true]

I thought I could loop through each one and if a false statement if found, the loop stops and the variable allIsTrue = false. But if the loop cycles all the way through allIsTrue = true.

I have an array. The fields in the array have underscores that I would like to remove e.g. "Column_1" to "Column 1". Does anyone know a good way to do this without looping through the whole array and rebuilding it anew? I didn't see any methods in the reference that would make this easy.

I have the below array structure. I have traced the value of tempName , tempNum - they produce the correct results. But when i trace the array sortValues i get Quote:

The code is coming up with [Text Object] instead of what the text actually is (and if I actually add .text it calls up absolutely nothing). This functions perfectly well when using the standard array without the sub-properties and {} brackets (so I think the problem might be somewhere in the push statements). I am not understanding what the error is (probably something blatantly simple, my only guess being some sort of conversion problem).

Doing something wrong with this:
I have four arrays holding data:

last_name_array:Array;
first_name_array:Array;
condition_array:Array;
I have a for loop with counter set to the number of items in the arrays, with the idea of inserting data from each array into the fields of the following DiffArray. I am getting Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference and I cant see why.

I'm new to actionscript but have some basic programming skills. I've downloaded some code that finds and displays fields from an attribute table of a feature, from my limited knowledge it seems to be adding this data into an array collection, the problem is I need the data fields to be displayed in alphabetical order, or in the order they are originally stored. I tried to use the sort function to order the array but can't get it to work.

I have five individual movie clips that dynamically load names from five variables in a txt file (these all fade in and out and overlap the transition of the next). Every time the movie loops, I'd like the movie clips to display the next item in the list until every name has been listed - is this doable? Is there a better way to do this from within flash instead of loading the content dynamically?

I'm making a sudoko solver, and i have 81 input fields. They're named from i11 to i99. The first number is the column number "x", the second number is the row number "y". I want to transfer those numbers out of the input fields, and into an array.

I'd like to gather (at run-time) all dynamic text fields on the stage and push them into an array. Then I can load an xml of data and populate each dynamic text field in the array with a matching value in the xml file.
So basically I'm writing one class file I'd like to be used on many different swf files, each of which can have one or 20+ dynamic text fields. I'd like the swf to loop through each text dynamic field, throw each into an array and then grab an xml item with a matching name as that text field and set its textfield.text value from it. So actually if the dynamic text fields are just in a for loop then I guess I wouldn't even need to place them in an array, just not sure how to identify the dynamic text fields on the stage.

I am having trouble making a for loop that works with my movieclips and text fields. I am probably only missing one step and if I can figure it out I will cut my lines of code about 10X. I have been scripting this flash profile card which pulls data from multiple XML files. The problem i am having is when it comes down to pulling this 1 set of information which is accessing the attributes of an array of specific XML nodes on display after the first item it inputs a comma before each item.
