Dec 16, 2011I have several website pages set up on different frames inside the content (which is a movieclip) of the home page - which is on frame 1 of the main timeline. The content movieclip name is contentMc.
My About page is at frame 10. There is a button on this page (called btnAbout_contactpg) that I want to make jump to my Contact page (frame 50) - all of which is nested under the main contentMc movieclip.
This is the pathway on my contentMc (where all of my pages are located), just in case that doesn't make sense: [URL]
I have looked at several different instructions online, but none of them seem to work.

I am also trying to get a button on my gallery page to load an external image, but it is not recognizing where the button is either:

What I was trying to do is to get the animation on 'bt', or 'b1'( they are stacked on top of each other) to gotoAndPlay "_over" when it hits the lower red dot(instance 'oneHT') and then gotoAndPlay "_out" when it hits the second higher red dot(instance 'twoHT'), and then do the same for each windmill blade as it passes the red dots during it's rotation. When I attach script to the movieclip it works, but I'd like to just keep all the actionscript on the main timeline so I dont' forget where I put things.

i want to create a site where buttons go to different pages, but those pages have animations in and out.so if someone is in one page, and clicks a button to go to another, that page plays the "out" animation while the other page plays the "in" animation.

Jun 7, 2010I am making a quiz/game, and it works like this, two teams that have to take over the united states, by answering history questions, so right now I have it were when you click on a state, it takes you to a question (on a different frame in the main timeline), then I have a problem, if you get the question right it takes you to the "board" of the United States (that works), but when you are back the color of the state should change its color to red (on frame of the clip) if south got it and blue (another frame of the clip) if north got itBut instead i changes back to grey (default color, all start grey to begin with). I don't and can't seem to figure this out

Nov 21, 2007I have my flash on multiple scenes, and would like to play an animation when clicking on the navigation button before switching to a different scene.
I'm halfway to accomplishing this.

The above code is on a blank keyframe. Changepage1 is the start of the animation and Changepage2 is the end of the animation.
Upon clicking the navigation button it plays the above scenes.
However it doesn't change scenes to scene "Home2".

It just needs to look like there's user input.The specifics:to the right of the screen is a window with 6 tabs that you can drag. I want the window above the tabs to have green bars that increase vertically as you drag up and decrease as you drag down. I thought I would be able to asign variables of position1, ""2, ""3, etc. Then set up a <= if then statement to say:if tab1_mc is less than 280 px for it's _y then tell greenbar1_mc to gotoAndStop(3);That didn't work, so, I figured I could just forget the var's and set up some AS that can constantly get the value of the tab1_mc's _y and then go through an if then AS that would tell the greenbar1_mc to gotoAndStop(respective frame);
