how to change the color in the "flop" mode? Would like the "backside" to be grey and I want this to animate aswell.

View 2 Repliesis it possible to blend an image over other images in flash? like if I wanted pictures to scroll behind a color gradient... here's what I'm working on: effect done in photoshop, but I what to achieve it in flash)See how the images blend with the colors behind? so when I click the right arrow and the images slide over, I want the overlay to effect them. like the pinkish/red image on the right needs to be greenish when it is displayed on the left side. I could perhaps do it with a gradient in flash (though I'm not sure how), but it would be better if I could use a png file for the color overlay so it matches better
View 14 RepliesThing is, after applying a new color theme for my Flash Builder enviroment, the only thing I couldnt find was an option to change the color when you enter in debug mode. When you have a brakpoint there, the color of that line change to light green, and I got dark background and white characters.. so, I dont see anything, I have to manually highlight the line.. really annoying.

I have created a button symbol which consists of a rounded rectangle with text on top. After adding two filters (bevel and glow), I went to edit the symbol. However, in the editing screen, I can't seem to access the filters; they don't show up in the properties panel when the button is selected. The control displays asterisks instead of the characters themselves when the 'displayAsPassword' is set to true. Quoting the documentation,displayAsPassword If true, the field does not display entered text, instead, each text character entered into the control appears as the character "*".So, is there any way to change this displayed character, unless of course creating a custom component or extending the existing TextInput control?

I'm trying to follow along with a basic animation tutorial online using ActionScript. It mentions to switch to expert mode from normal mode, but says that to do this, I need to click on a blue arrow with a box around it(which I don't see anywhere)? Where would I click to switch to expert mode? Is expert mode needed to animate certain things(I'm working with a movie clip)?

The attached Ai file contains several parts (states) each of which needs to be imported to Flash as an individual movie clip; and then be able to color each of the states individually. At some later stage actionscript 3 needs to change each state's color.
