View 1 RepliesI have created a flash website which contains a link to an outside website. When I click on the link, it takes me to that outside website in the same browser window. To go back to my website, I have to use the back arrow. I want to change the link to the outside website so that the link opens in a new window. Therefore, if somebody goes to the link, when they finish they can close the new link's window and the original window with my website will still remain, without losing both upon closing. What do I need to adjust in order to do this?

View 5 RepliesI need to make a flash website for one of my assignments, but whenever Im try and make something, none of my action script is compiled.Ive done up a test file that it 2 frames, with a stop(); function on the first frame, no other action script. I get no errors, however it just continues to loop through all the frames. Here's the .fla:

It has to be something Im doing when working, as i can open up other files that Ive made in my class and publish them without this problem happening...I can even edit them a bit, but after a short while of editing (im not sure when) then suddenly this problem appears in them.

I have XML displaying in dynamic text boxes. Some of the text are a href links, I also want to track which links are clicked by sending a javascript call to Google Analytics. Is there a way to do it and also open the link in a new window?
