Professional :: Make A Simple Flash Website Video Intro In Flash CS5 Pro?

I am new to flash and trying to make a simple flash website video intro in Flash CS5 Pro.I have a flv viedo on the stage, under an image with a trasnparent center.I have the video on the bottom layer, the overlay image on the middle layer, and the top layer is my AS layer (AS3).
The video is currently autoplaying when i export.All i want is for it to open my website in the same window as the intro played when the video ends.I dont need a "skip intro button" or anything.I just want it to play the intro when you go to my site, and then bring up the index page of my site after it plays.

If I have an FLV that I've output as SWF with skin to have embedded into an HTML page, and now a 'skip intro' is needed - though I'd have to make note of the actual time or keyframe in which the intro completes...How is this possible? Clearly, a button would need to be added for that kind of interactivity?

Though many people before me have asked the same or similar question, I can't find any satisfying answer in these discussions. Note that I'm quite new to working with Flash.
I have made an intro with Adobe Flash using ActionScript 2.0. This intro consists of 82 frames. I want to play my intro once to people visiting my website and subsequently (when the visitor of my site sees frame 82) the browser has to be send to the real mainpage of my site. I already know how to import flash to my site and to name it index.html or index.php and so on.
I just need to know how to create this intro playing once and redirecting to another page and predominantly which codes I'll have to type in my Actions-window (F9).

I have designing my website with Dreamweaver and am wondering how exactly I can make a non-interactive slideshow for my main page, preferably in Flash or Fireworks. I want the slideshow to begin each time the main page is loaded. I have been using Simple viewer to make my galleries because I don't know html, I'm a photojournalism major and happened to get the entire cs4 suite with my macbook. I'd like to learn to put more than PS and Indesign to good use.

I am running on Dreamweaver CS5 in Code View...I have imported a flash video, which displays in design view, but will just keep loading in the actual browser and never start the video. It is running through an Apache localhost and is a PHP file...could that mess it up? I am also using jQuery with a bunch of hidden popup views, that work fine. What's wrong with my flash? I have a client who needs a Flash video to stream from a website, the video which is being made from powerpoint slides is roughly 22 minutes long. With the voiceover it's gonna be pretty heavy. Way too long to stream correctly from my experience so in order to do this right I need to know which way to go here.
I broke up the fla's into 4 ( 5 minute .swfs)I finished the first and I'm working on the second .fla. the first fla was published with the html wrapper let's call it v1.swf.on thelast frame of v1.swf I used the loader class to load the v2.swf into the wrapper when v2.swf ends it will loadv3.swf all the way up to 5.
So far this works using the two .swfs which are on my server and are streaming.Before I continue I just to make sure I do not do unecessary work I need to know if the way I plan on doing is correct or is there another way.

I need to make or buy a template for a simple flash game for a clients website. It has to be legit to buy. It is about 5 pages long. You are asked a question, you select a radio button for the answer to the question, it compiles all your answers and gives you a result.I know flash pretty well but ccording to budget and time.it is best not to have to experiment.

I want to be able to record 5-30 sec "green screen" segments on my video camera, extract them from the background, save it as DECENT QUALITY flash that can be embedded in my company website (small motorcycle dealership in Sweden) so that I can reach my customers in a better way. So for the first time I imported a video clip into Flash 8, used the wizard and even found a tutorial that basically walked me through the steps of the flash wizard.I imported a clip from my computer, progressive download from web server, tried both encodings of flash 7 and 8 medium,SteelOverAll skinning,the let flash do its thing, set my publish settings, published, tried it out and played SWF, looked fine, then uploaded the SWF, FLA, HTML and FLV on my web site but all it does is "waiting for .... .com", my website.I double checked in different browsers, Internetexplorer, Mozialla, Chrome, all having Flash Player 10 latest version and the FLV file is only 1.2MB big, yet after 10 minutes still nothing playing back online........did I overlook something here?

I wanted to create a simple flash contact form for my flash website. I went through Lee's tutorial on how to create the contact form and PHP file to go with it. I've uploaded everything to my server and tested the form. My flash form consists of Name, Subject, Message, and Email fields. When I receive the email all that comes through is this with none of the actual message that was written IN the contact form:
Name: Subject: Message: Email: The 'From' field is also blank. I don't know if my problem is with flash, my PHP code, or with my server. Can someone take a look at this and tell me what's wrong? I can't seem to find any errors from Lee's tutorial with my code or labeling.

For the current site I'm working on, I need to display an intro video while other ssets(mostly flv files)load in the background.The issue is the framerate drops from ~30 to about ~1 because of the loading. When the videos loadinto memory, it grows by about 266MB~ and until it's 'written' the framerate drops.Is there any workaround/solution that will allow me to play an intro video while the assets load intomemory ?

I run a small digital signage business and need to be able to use Client provided Flash files. Problem is Harris Infocaster's built in video player is version 5 (yes, it is 2010 already). I made a 15 second clip with three photos and some text, looks okay BUT I want to include video an endless error messages when attempting to Export to Flash. Any takers on a solution.

If you go there and click on the "Corporate Videos" section, you will see me pop up and start talking.
But... if you click on one of the videos below... I keep talking over the top of the new video.
Is there a way to "tell target" the one video to stop playing from the action of clicking play on the other video so I stop talking the minute any button on the page is pressed?
I am using AS3 with the FLV Playback component for all these videos.
