The billboard has been converted into a movie clip symbol, and within that symbol are several pictures. May 31, 2010I need to make a flash website for one of my assignments, but whenever Im try and make something, none of my action script is compiled.Ive done up a test file that it 2 frames, with a stop(); function on the first frame, no other action script. I get no errors, however it just continues to loop through all the frames. Here's the .fla:

Another interesting this is I can type gibberish into it and I dont get any compiler errors....its as if it doesnt even look at my actionscript. Even if i purposely put and error in, nothing at all...
It has to be something Im doing when working, as i can open up other files that Ive made in my class and publish them without this problem happening...I can even edit them a bit, but after a short while of editing (im not sure when) then suddenly this problem appears in them.

Jul 31, 2010I am new to flash and trying to make a simple flash website video intro in Flash CS5 Pro.I have a flv viedo on the stage, under an image with a trasnparent center.I have the video on the bottom layer, the overlay image on the middle layer, and the top layer is my AS layer (AS3).
The video is currently autoplaying when i export.All i want is for it to open my website in the same window as the intro played when the video ends.I dont need a "skip intro button" or anything.I just want it to play the intro when you go to my site, and then bring up the index page of my site after it plays.

Dec 31, 2008Over the past few days, I've been trying to figure out how to make a flash website that will have elements move in accordance to when the window is resized. I had got as far as getting it to work in flash when you preview it there. But I tried to publish it and it sits at the TL at its normal size. I had set the html to 100% etc. but to no prevail.[URL]..
I have attached a zip of the files I have- they are unpleasing to the eye and incomplete, but it should get the idea across. Hopefully this doesn't seem like to much to ask. if you can get my ugly Zip.file to publish in Dreamweaver, like it previews in flash.

Feb 12, 2010I recently bought a flash template to use for my photography business. I really like it except the scroll behavior is absolutely terrible on monitors under 27 inches. It just goes straight to the bottom then snaps back up to the top, making it impossible to really view and click on the images in the bottom and center rows. The website is hereI emailed the company to ask them foron fixing this problem, but they've only said "We're investigating the problem" and its been nearly a week now. I would like to get it so the scroll is slower and is only activated at the edges of the window. I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum to post at, I am just desperate to get the galleries to be easier to browse through before I start handing out business cards
