Mar 21, 2011i have a flash inside html. now what i want is when i open the html in browser it goes fullscreen without clicking any 'full screen/normal screen' button.

Jan 2, 2012The flash player has a little window that can be opened (similar to flash->settings) telling the user to update the player if the movie loaded is for a more recent version. How can you instruct the player to do this? ITV have managed it with their catchup-tv player.
Context: I am allowing users to copy flash into their PowerPoint presentations and would like to tell them to update their flash player if necessary. I am not embedding a web page in the power point so no JS can be run for checking etc (because I know this is not necessary).

..now it's loaded into another swf file called 'container.swf' (look at picture A).When the fullscreen function is called from within the swf file that contain the video and the fullscreen button, it goes to picture B. The other two swf files (swf1 and swf2) also goes into fullscreen. My desired result would be picture C.The video goes fullscreen within it's own swf file and does not "take over" the whole screen.

Apr 15, 2012I've made a flash application using actionscript 3, I wanted this application size to be dynamic, To be able to embed it in any size and let it adjust itself accordingly. I managed to accomplish this, theres a problem though: The original width of the application is 700 pixels. I'm embedding the flash in a smaller size, (400 for example) going to full screen, and when I exit, the application sets itself back to being 700 pixels wide, and isn't adjusting itself to the 400px width of the actual embedding area..

My question is: Is there a way to create a projector that always stays on top (e.g. even if a windows update occurs) without purchasing SWF Studio? As I understand TOPMOST is only for launched applications, not for the application itself.

It works fine in offline but when it is uploaded it does not show the movie(swf is not playing) I see only empty space. i thought that it may take time to load, but even after waiting for long time the swf did not play and it shows blank white space.

Right now it is making the space behind the .swf file clickable for the link, but the Flash element is not clickable.
If the right thing to do is to edit the .swf file somehow, I don't consider myself a Flash developer, but are there any resources on where to get started or how to do something this basic with an existing .swf file?

Nov 8, 2010When i embed a flash video in HTML it works in IE and in Firefox but not in chrome. I've looked it up and I've found that chrome adds two attributes to the embed tag, width and height. i have already set the width and height attribute in the embed tag in pixels but from some reason chrome changes it to percentage. when i inspect the element and write pixels instead of percentage the flash is visible again.

Flash Won't Open An HTML Pop Up From A CD?
Sep 9, 2009I made a flash file with a pop up linked to an HTML file with a virtual tour in it. Everythign works fine if I upload it to my site, but if i burn it to a CD, open the flash animation and click on the pop up link it just opens a blank browser window; my guess is it doesnt find the file because its looking in c:/.... . Is there any way i can make the flash file look for the html page inside the CD?

May 1, 2010I am using an embedded flash movie in my web page. I would like to show some alerts on the page when the movie has played for x seconds, pause the movie while the user views and dismisses the alert and start playing the movie again after that (or the user can press the play button, not important). The important parts being - the app being able to find out if x secs worth of movie has played, pausing the movie then and showing an alert. Is this possible using a php/javascript code within the web page? Or will I have to do this within the flash movie itself?
