Mar 9, 2011Im in the final steps of my Flash game, now I have to take care of the music/sound.And, I figure out that I'd need to reproduce several sounds simultaneously, sounds like gun shots, explosions, screams, etc, however, these sounds are short, < 1 seconds.So, how many sounds can I reproduce at the same time?, and what would be the best approach (what class to use, how, tips, etc) to achieve this?, considering my situation.

Nov 17, 2009I've used jqUploader for a while but I find that it will occasionally fail to work on certain browsers on certain machines or will not work properly when using HTTP Basic authentication. I've tired of trying to get this to work properly and am considering switching to another (hopefully) less buggy uploader. I've looked into Uploadify and it so far seems promising. Have you experience with any alternatives to jqUploader including possibly Uploadify? If so, what are your thoughts and recommendations?I would prefer that configuring any such uploader require knowledge of JavaScript and/or jQuery, and that it not be totally reliant on any one specific back-end technology. Built-in PHP compatibility is a plus.

Im trying to create one similar, but isn't all the way fancy, it just plays the music, I just want it to have a playlist, volume, stop, next track, previous track, and a picture for each song.
i dont really have a clue how do this. So far i created a 1600x1000 skin completely similar to the link above, now i just need to know the right coding for the buttons, and how can keep adding music every 2 weeks. and tommorow (which is in a couple hours), i will have a chance to work with cs4 in a studio.

Feb 25, 2011I have made an App in CS5. I have a release version made, ready to go. It is running on my iPhone with no problem. The error from iTune Connect is 'Application failed codesign versification. The signature was invalid, or it was not signed with an Apple submission certificate.' Although there are many components available I've been asked for it to loop round i.e. the slideshow has no left and right end, when the last item in the XML is reached it seamlessly keeps scrolling by going back to the start of the array. Mar 28, 2011I develop iPhone/iPad apps using the Adobe ADT tool. it compiles a .IPA file which needs to be loaded onto the device using iTunes. Now - myself I own only a 3G iPhone. My friends sometimes lend me theyr devices for testing purposes. For Apps developed with XCode, this is no problem. You just connect the device, add the provisioning profile to the device and load the app through XCode onto it. But how to do it if I only have an .IPA file (plus provisioning profile of course). ITunes allows me only to load it to the device by synchronizing, but this will delete all the stuff my friends loaded onto thier devices. How can I test my IPA files and return the devices without any changes?

Jan 22, 2010I created a photo album using XML and actionscript 2. When I test it out on my computer it works great. Just how I thought it would. But when I publish it and put on the server it decides to get a mind of its own. When the page loads the images will go in a random order but the title attributes I created stay just as it should.So basically image 3 will come up first and title 1 will be with it. I changed the the title to print the url that is being called and it will say the correct thing but show the wrong image.

Nov 28, 2010I'm new at action scripting and found the outline of a script to use for creating a photo album. I was able to do most of what I wanted but unable to complete the final step and cannot figure out how to do it.
There should be 21thumbnails and corresponding full-size images available for viewing on the page below. Trace code confirms that 21 images in the xml file are called but the display in the scroll pane shows only the first 6, which is good, but there are no advancing buttons in the scroll pane to allow the viewer to go to the next image. How do I make this happen?

The thing is that I don't know how to approach loading the pictures.Here's kind of what I'm trying to do.The big white rectangle is the stage and the small squares are the pictures. I intend to put two buttons on both sides that will scroll the reel. How do I load only the pictures shown on the stage? And of course, when you scroll through the images, how can the images know that they should be loading? I'd like to figure out the coding myself.

Nov 20, 2006What I want: The thumbnails for the gallery (but not the larger image) must be visible on all pages. When one of them is clicked, you will go to the corresponding larger image in the photo gallery.
What I've been able to get is this; [URL] (note: there are no pages other than the initial page and the photo album, its still a WIP)
It's close to what I want it to behave like, the only problem is that each thumbnail simply links to the full gallery .swf, which always starts at the first photo in the list.
I have thought of using a single .swlf and resizing the stage when a thumb is clicked, but thats not a very elegant solution. Besides, it might not even be possible.
Is there a way to make it so that when you click a link in the 'thumbnails only' swf, it will link to the corresponding large image in the 'full album' swf? Or is there maybe another way to approach this whole ordeal?
