I made the customized scroll bar with static text , the text part have a lot of information while on scrolling 75% text only coming remaining texts are not coming it is coming like a blank.
View 1 RepliesI carefully read forums for phpmyadmin before posting here and none really had the answer. I am able to install phpmyadmin on stand alone versions of Apache, but unable to do so on the FMS version. I previously read this post [URL] and it doesn't seem to answer the question although it looks like part of the question may have been answered offline. The problem is that phpmyadmin installs and I know that PHP is running fine because I can run a couple of test scripts with no problem. However, when I go to login to phpmyadmin, I get the dialog box asking me "do you want to open or save this file" and the script itself never executes. I checked the the server log, and here's what's going on:

Based on the post noted above, I'm assuming this may have something to do with either POST variables or maybe proxying unknown requests, however the forum post didn't appear to resolve the problem. I also posted to that thread, but I wasn't sure it was still being monitored.
The problem is the scroll isn't working properly.You will see what I mean if you click hereWhen I export for flash player 9 instead of 6 I also have a couple of problems.
1) the first image doesn't load.
2) the image loads before the border changes size. (Look at the last image and any of the other images and you will see what I mean)

I have a text box with a scrollbar attached and everything works fine except if i use the scrollbar then the scroll event attached to the textfield doesn't execute but if i type in the text field untill it scrolls then the scroll event works perfectly.

View 1 RepliesOk what I have is a site I am building for school.I have some textfields loaded from a outside file Some of the fields have more text then will show in the size of the box, and you can sroll it down to read it all but unless you try to scroll there is really now way to tell you can do it just buy looking at the text box.So I want to add a scroll bar and we have not covered that in class.Note everything has to be added using AS3 we can have no content on the timelineI have look to try to find something so show me how to dod this but all I can find are videos on doing it using the stage and adding items to it.

I have 50 to 70 scenes in my flash files. Becasue of purpose i used these much scenes. my problem is am not able to do scroll in the scene panel. if i click the last scene the slider always goes up... not scrolling exact place where i clicked.

View 1 RepliesI had the core of my site down for me, I believe in Flash 8 using AS2. I took over the site and attempted to learn everything that they did, so I could update it myself. The one thing that I can't figure out... is where they put the customized scrollbars they made for my site. There are some scrollPane components in the library, but I can't see where he put the custom scrollbars. The homepage link is here:The blue scrollbars are what I'm trying to find. When I add more content I want to be able to use the same scrollbars. If you need the FLA, I'll send it to you. A pop-up is a retangle shaped figure with BackgroundColour = #FFFFCC, Width=170 and Height= 275 respectively mentioned in Properties Window. Here, Pop-up is a MovieClip and its instance-name is"myPopup".
Now, i need to add text(which must act as hyperlinks, i.e., they must capture MouseEvent_CLICK event, should listen to the event and should produce response on clicking on the hyperlink) in vertical manner viz., the width,height and x-position should not change and only y-position for placing th text-field should change.

I'm building a customized clock at the moment. For seconds i'm using 12 movieclips with bars inside (fig1) For every second a bar lights up. I can get the number of "group" to pick and the number of "bar" to light up but i can't actually make them light up because I'm not sure how to actually select the group of bars according to the time.
My movieclips are called "group0", "group1" etc. and inside I made different states depending on how many bars light up (fig2) fig1 fig2 Here's my code:

I want to create a data grid that has 4 columns: description, quantity, price, and line total. The line total will simply be the product of quantity & price. I want the last line of the grid to be the total of all line totals. How can I create this type of grid? I thought of using item renderers, but I can't figure out how to have the last row be for the line items total. If I must create a custom component,book recommendations on custom component creation. View 2 RepliesThe problem: I have to create a Flash video (in CS3) that will query a MySQL database and display that data at certain points in the video. I've divided this project into two parts: a.) dynamically generate an XML feed from the data using PHP (using an ID number passed in the URL's query string), and b.) be able to work with it in Flash. I've got the first part working, but am pretty lost in Flash. I can parse the XML, but I'm not sure how to set the data up as variables and attach it to a video's cue points.

Now if i use this font in the TexFormat the font does not show, instead the text is shown in default 'Times' font.But if i use "Arial" as TextFormat font then the textfield's text appear in arial font, although the arial font is not present in the library.

create a costumized crosshair replacing my mouse?here's the conditions
