Aug 6, 2010I have a FLV player using netstream. I am using metaData to grab the video duration and time. It will grab the total duration time, but I want it to countdown to zero, like iTunes. Basically, the time will play and the duration will countdown to zero at the end of the video. I thought that I could take (duration) - (time played) but it's not working.

Aug 3, 2010I have two mp4 video files on webserver, i wanted to play them in flash player(flv player) on my asp.net page, but i couldn't be able to play them, i also tried to play them in quick time player the same prob occured. but i waz giving the accurate path, there were no spaces in mp4 file names etc. Does it need to have mp4 player(or codec etc) installed on webserver?
I have also some wmv files on that server , and i am playing perfectly using silver light player, and media player object on my website.

Sep 17, 2011Has anyone seen a Flash video player out there that will load and play two videos at the same time, such as for comparing videos? A potential client is looking for something along the lines of this. I've not been able to locate anything out there,and I'm wondering if there's a usability reason for this...Obviously, you wouldn't want the audio playing for both at the same time, and the bandwidth issue for something like this might be a concern too. My feeling is that you wouldn't want to restrict a user to just playing both videos at once, but give them the option to play them separately or at the same time, with controls for each audio and playback.

Dec 21, 2011I have created an animation in Flash which is 2mins long at 25fps, so 3000 in frame length. However when I export it as either a swf or a mov it plays for 6mins! The frame rate is definetely 25fps in Quicktime export settings also but still it doesn't play for the correct duration? The Quicktime movie says 6mins also desptire the fps matching.
The movie is a standard timeline animation?

The Flash website has code similar to this:

Feb 19, 2008I need this to work so that on my stage i can have a dynamic text box displaying the current time of the flv and the total time ---- example 3:45 / 6:58 where the 3:45 would update as the flv was scrubbed or played, or whenever a jump point was pressed. I found an example of this on this page.I have been using the as3 code to import my video and use cue points and for the life of me I cant get this to work.

The next thing I need it to do is display a dynamic text field with the current mp3 track length counting down to zero as the song plays.
