[code]i use the code above to use webcam in my website first time the webcam setting panel will show up asking user to allow or deny the webcam access.if they choose deny but later they change their mind and want to allow the webcam access how to show the webcam allow & deny setting panel again(beside right click and select "settings..." in the menu)I was trying to setup a button and click for calling back the setting panel but failed.

I have a map with regions. When you mouse over a region, I want a popup to appear, and when you mouse out, I want it to disappear. I have classes for Region and Popup, but for the life of me, I can't get that popup to appear! The actual map is on the stage, and it does light up when you mouse over a region. However, the popup never appears.

We've purchased the FMS 4.5 and are now planning an application that lets users record a video to the server using their webcam. Straight forward, if we were to stream only to a flash video object. BUT, we would like our padders to be able to see the videos on demand too. Can't find a tutorial on this, seems like everyone's more interested in live streams.The server is able to record a stream in mp4, but when I'm testing these files in Adobe Media Player it won't play :| What codec is used, and is it possible to play this format on an iPad? If not, is there som sort of solution other than manually transcode to the right format.

I guess something similar Stop reloading flash file when using show and hide methods, but I really haven't found yet any good solution for popuping in that case.

I got this movieclip. With actionscript I attached a new movieclip to this one, as a popup menu, which will show on rollover. Inside this movieclip, it automatically makes textfields, as menu options (information I receive from a XML document). The problem is, that I cannot get it to respond on a onRelease function on those text fields, and I do not know why.

I have a big problem with my flash menu and the hittest function.I want to show a 'popup' window on menu item rollover (and i did it!).But I have a rollover problem passing through other items because of hittest areas are colliding.I attach a .fla file for example...Try to pass from 'voice1' to 'voice 2'...voice 1 windows remain shown.

If you create a popup via:[code]It will create a popup and bring it on top of any other visual piece. I have one problem though. This 'popup' needs to stay up even when the user interacts with the background.I would use modal, but I need the ability to interact with the back. Any way to tell the popup manager not to remove the popup when the user clicks off of it?

i'm using the centered pop up window script from: [URL]. i have multiple buttons in my flash movie which open screenshot html pages in external browser windows. the script works fine except when a popup window stays open. the rest of the buttons don't open/replace past that one popup. i tried changing the window name in the onRelease script to screen1, screen2, etc for each button, but that didn't work.

I need to close the popup(adobe flex), non modal window if I click on the parent page of the popup. I have to do the out of focus check and then do some validation before close the popup. So what I was thinking that is there any inbuilt focus check event or do we need to create custom event for that?

I have a web application which contains a data grid. Double clicking on any row of that grid will open a popup (lets call it popup1). Now this popup1 again opens a new popup(lets call it popup2). When I close the popup2, I need pass an Object to popup1. Which is the easiest way to do that?
(PS: While opening popup2 from popup1, I am adding an event listener on Close event of popup2)

I have a parsley popup that can create another popup.The issue comes when I close the root popup, when I open the popup again and click on the child popup, it's actually opening 2 child popups.Any idea why this thing happen?

In my asp.net application,I want to show the .ppt file using the slide show manner.
That's to say,user can upload .ppt file to my server side,then other people can browser these ppts in the page ..
Since I have googled "embed powerpoint in web page" ,it seems that there is not a good idea to implement this and support the cross browser,so I thought the flash.

I have one MC that he has an gray color, when I compel it, it is gray, everything is fine so far. I had to create one param in the HTML pra to be able to change at any time of the MC color ex:"meuFlash.swf?&cf1=ff3300>...", any time that I change this MC color , my MC change too. I create this. [AS]new Color (fundo_mc.fundos_mc).setRGB (parseInt (cf1, 16));[/AS] My problem is the following one, when I speak in the HTML that I do not want to use this color "ff3300", I only want to use "meuFlash.swf?...", mine MC are all black, it are not of the gray color that I already had left, I do not know because it is all black.

I noticed I can't see my webcam anymore when I publish an exe file. There comes no dialog and I can't see the webcam picture. I even can't click the Preferences menu in the context menu.

has anyone gotten this [URL]..to work with aps.net mvc 3? I can't seem to decode the image, using the WebImage class or BitmapImage. I've tired to do this with Silverlight, but I'm really unsure on how to upload the image. I do not need to save the image, I just want to process it, what im really looking to do is read a bar-code via web app.
I just can't seem to find a good guide to uploading an image from Silverlight or flash to my MVC app.

I am currently in the middle of creating a project which essentially uses Flash as a type of augmented reality system. The idea behind it is that a webcam input will capture a users hand which is placed on a white pedestal (esstially creating a complete white backbround in contrast to the hand). Create a bounding box around the hand so that objects will only move in the space taken up by the hand.
The problem I am having is wondering which functions i should use to create a bounding box that will select the space that the hand is taking up in the webcam input. I have seen the function GetColorBoundsRect but it only seems to focus on one colour and it seems to be a static function instead of one that will need to constantly create the bounding box if it moves. This isn't just a motion dection but will need to detect the hand even if it isn't moving.
