I made a frontpage and when I click on the picture I want it to go to scene 2, where it enters the inside.the button is called PortalenKnappen, I want to be able to just press on it and it will go to the "sidan(scene 2)" that's empty at the moment.what would I have to write? I've tried "portalenKnappen.onPress nextScene("sidan", 1"); but it doesn't work.

But the problem is that I can't give an action to the button in the scene, because in the action panel appears: 'Current selection cannot have actions applied to it.' Mar 13, 2011I have a flash file with about 20 different scenes in it. And in one of the scenes there is an audio file that is 15 seconds long. The sound is on a menu page so i only want it in that scene. But if you are on that page for less than 15 seconds and go to another page then it carries on the sound into the next scene and if you go to and from the menu page to another scenes in quick succession you get a build up of sound which is horrible.

May 26, 2010I have 6 scenes, the first scene has 5 pictures that i converted to buttons. each button goes to a different scene to play the appropriate movie clip. right now it shows up with scene 1, then i click on the button and it goes to the appropriate movie clip but after it finishes playing it just goes to the next clip on the next scene, then after it is finished it goes to the next clip on the next scene and so on. i would like to know is there some way i can make the movie clips return to scene 1 after they finish playing?

Aug 11, 2009so I have some buttons that, as of right now, simply trigger the scene to move on while at the same time killing some particle effect animations I have spawning when the animation is idle. What I now need to do is make these events move on to a specific scene AFTER the rest of the scene's animation has played out (about 400 more frames) I'm figuring that the gotoAndPlay command has to be tied to some sort of timer variable that I would have to figure out based on my fps. Or maybe there is a way to set up a timer directly tied to a certain amount of frames allowed to go by. I'm pretty noob at actionscript, so keep that in mind. Here is the script at the point where the animation pauses to await user input on the buttons:

Some of these swf files are animations which have code that states :
MovieClip(parent).gotoAndStop("frameThree");
The first loader works but I cannot get that swf to move on to the next frame(frameThree) to load the next swf file
Instead I get this message
ArgumentError: Error #2109: Frame label frameThree not found in scene Scene 1. at flash.display::MovieClip/gotoAndStop() at New_Inro_fla::MainGuy_1/frame146()[New_Inro_fla.MainGuy_1::frame146:2 ]

How would I go about adding this to a loop, in a sense of every frame add another ball till you reach the maximum balls
currently after looking in help, google and forums this is all I could find
