Resizing Stage Dimensions : Make An Image Fade To The Next Scene Without A Whiteout Or Blackout??
Apr 13, 2009
how I could re-size my stage? As well as, I would like to know how I could pan my moving animation horizontally/vertically? And is it possible to make an image fade to the next scene without a whiteout or blackout? How can I do this?
This code works. It puts my external image on the stage: Code: var pngurl:URLRequest=new URLRequest("image.png"); var pngloader:Loader=new Loader(); pngloader.load(pngurl); this.addChild(pngloader);
This code works to, but not completely. It stores the same image inside of a movie clip that I've named "panel". However, the image is bigger than "panel": Code: var pngurl:URLRequest=new URLRequest("image.png"); var pngloader:Loader=new Loader(); pngloader.load(pngurl); panel.addChild(pngloader); //panel is the name of my movieclip
I almost fixed my problem by changing my code. My image is smaller than "panel" now, but its width and height should be the same as "panel": [Code] ..... (Original image size= 350width and 250height) (Panel size=100width and 100height)
I have an air window that opens up and loads an swf half-size (my swf stage is 1280x720, but the 'preview' is 640x360). Right now, the user can import any-size image. From here the user has the ability to alter their image (elements on the stage, the positioning and scaling of the imported image, etc.). I know that there is a way to "screengrab" the stage and save that out to the user's hard drive (I got that working). Is there anyway to do this same thing, but at the full size of the stage. Meaning, the screengrab is only half-size, but is there anyway to perform similar stuff without screengrabbing,
I'm about 99% done with a site I'm working on and the client just hit me with a low blow. The designs that I got from their designer were a certain dimension, so I built the site with the assets based on those dimensions and now that I'm nearing the end of the project, the client seen the site on their 13 inch macbook and freaked out "everything looks too big!" is what they said. Is there a way to resize assets based on browser size without having to go in and do too much modifying? I tried looking this up, but I got a bunch of Event.RESIZE responses which I don't think I'm looking for that.
I want to fade in an image that is on the stage using actionscript 2.0. Up until now I have been putting the image on the stage at frame one, inserting a keyframe on frame twenty then creating the tweenbut this seems like an uneconomical way of doing things.
I'm using CS3AS3 for this flash image. How might I go about fading/blending it into the site better?? When the page loads the Flash "jumps" into porsition...does it's fade thing and then on the last picture to the first picture "jumps" again.....You'll see what I mean by clicking on the link
I would like to fade in different elements I have on stage when my flash movie starts and would like to do this by using code rather than use the timeline. I have given Instance names to the elements (mc'c, graphics, buttons) and am looking for a simple piece of code (which easily lets me make changes to the duration of the fade) to make the specified elements fade in on stage once they appear.
ive made a button in the scene 1 which i have managed to navigate to scene 2 but when i click the button it goes to scene 2 but displays everthing that is in scene 1 in scene 2, how can sort this out so upon the button click in scene 1 it goes to scene 2 and only display content in scene2.
But for some reason, which I don't get is that when I do no_scale, the .swf window resized to 760x620, and I have these 20 pixels at the top, which are less than zero in Y, if I leave that line out, my graphics on the screen (isometric tiles) look distorted but the screen stays at 600 px in height.
What would be the best way to get my random background to fade in? It is loaded using an XML file, and the images are large so when the site loads it takes a sec then... BAM - - image, lol.Heres my code:
In an earlier post I mentioned I had solved my problem of finding out how to make an image fade in and out when a button is rolled over.I used this code:
image.addEventListener(MouseEvent.ROLL_OVER, imageOver); image.addEventListener(MouseEvent.ROLL_OUT, imageOut); function imageOver(event:MouseEvent):void{[code]....
Where the button is a movie clip containing a layer of stop actions, a layer of labels, and the image which fades in and out using a Tween and Alpha combination. It works great when the mouse rolls over the button, however if I roll over the area where the image fades in and out, the image will also appear! It's almost as though the 'hit' area is both the button and the image but I am unsure how to change this.
I have a 3D image gallery I am working on and would like it to fade and scale onto the stage (whilst still spinning)Make image gallery fade and scale in?Here is the link to my test page.
I have also attached the current actionscript code in a zip file.[url]...
I'm building a flash web site, this site contain images in 5 pages, i want to do an effect when rollover of any image ( make image brightness 100 and fade to 0 ).
I am wondering if it's posible to set the backgroundcolor of the stage through as3 code.i am also wondering if it's possible to set the stage height and stage width through the code. for the application i wish to develop, the values of the stage color and the stage dimensions are provided by an XML file.
i have a flash site im working on, with an image gallery. the way the site is designed, when you enter into a gallery, while it's loading the images (lets say 5-10 images), it draws 5-10 gray boxes in the exact spots the images will load into.
the trick is i need to know in advance how big the gray boxes should be (width/height) before the image is fully downloaded.
i found this site: [URL]
but the way he wrote this, as soon as the class determines the images dimensions, it cancels the download.
i'd rather have a fully complete image class that downloads images, dispatches events with the image dimensions as SOON as theyre detected, and fully downloads the images as well.
I have 5 buttons that need to, when clicked fade the image in the background out and fade a new picture in. each of these buttons has a specific image related to it. how can i achive this smooth transition in and out for all of the buttons?
I have a tweened movie which plays on a loop. A click on the image area stops the movie and the image fades nicely from alpha 100 to alpha 0. A second click brings the image back immediately to alpha 100 and the clip continues. I would like the movie image to fade back in from alpha0 to alpha 100 before it re-starts; (the reverse of the fade out). At the moment the re-appearence of the image is a crude jump. So far my ill informed tinkering has not worked.
What I'm trying to do is have an image fade in, pause for 6 seconds and then fade out.My 6 seconds is doing something, but it's not what I want it to do and I'm not sure why. Here's my code:
is it possible to modify this script to make images load like a fade in/fade out slideshow. It works with buttons to action the transition I want, but I want a similar script to play a simple slideshow with same transitions.
When the user clicks on a button this happens: [code]But before it runs gotoAndPlay("MainMenu","Home"); I would like to fade out the scene. Eather all to black, or bring the alfa of all elements to 0% (as the background is black).
Bit noob to flash. I have MX Pro 2004. I have an .swf I created (intro) I have another .swf I created (first_scene) I want to put them both into 1 project and intro to play repeatedly until the user hits the "enter" button and moves into the website (first_scene) Im sure this is ultra basics of flash, but I dont understand it enough to read up on google.
flash version: CS3 AS2 Im having trouble making the pages for a website im working on. I have a row of buttons, and I want each one to open its corrisponding page ie. contact_us_button to open contact_us movie clip. the thing is I want each page to transition in and out. so when I click contact us, the contact us movie clip fades in and stops. When I click about us, the contact us movie clip fades out and about us fades in.
Is the way to do this to make each page movie clip have a fade start and fade end, and have it stop before the fade end, and on another page click continue playing the current clip to get the fade out and then open the new page movie clip?
but only 1 ball restart back, other 14 ball just stop at there , try paste on action and try you will see what i mean , how i going to make all ball restart back?
how to make images fade in then out again in sequence using actionscript? I'm a novice and have the fade out code but can't make it fade in again. So far I have this script on one image :
