ActionScript 3.0 :: Namespace Of Functions Or Properties That Are Being "intercepted" By The Proxy Class?
Nov 14, 2009
Is there any way to find out the namespace of functions or properties that are being "intercepted" by the Proxy class?I'm hoping to do something like the following (non-essential code removed):
Code:
public class ObjectArray extends Proxy
{
public static const ADD:String = "add";[code]....
I keep running into this problem that I need a solution to. How can I create a display object, that I can write proxy methods for, so I can catch all method calls on the object.asically, the problem is that the only way to implement a proxy is by extending the Proxy class. But what if my class extends Sprite, but I still want to implement the methods from the flash_proxy namespace?
I want to create a complete (and real) 2-dimensional array. In order to use a maximum of Adobe code, I want to use ListCollectionView which can manage sort and filters. But to use a second dimension, I need to override getProperty method, like following code.
I tried using namespaces but for some reason I couldn't manage to make it work. Consider the scenario below
ActionScript Code: package { public class MyClass { public static const XML:String = "etc";
[code]....
I need the XML const to be accessible so I didn't associate it with a namespace. I actually tried doing that and created a getter method to return its value but no luck. I also tried creating a static property (of Class datatype) to represent the built-in XML class but the method above ignored it.
I'm trying to upload images with Uploadify but I run into IO error. I have gotdemo and it works on my computer, so I decided to implement functionality of my application to this example step by step to catch the error and discovered that the reason of IO error is my local proxy.pac (I use FF):
function FindProxyForURL(url, host) { if (shExpMatch(host, "*.app.local*")) { return "PROXY 127.0.0.1:3000";
I wrote two projects using the same 3D library but I modified it pretty heavily in one (to the extent that the inheritance is pretty different on one) - now I need to load one into the other and I'm getting some weird errors that look like the child swf is trying to use the same class definitions as the parent even though it should be in an entirely different namespace.
So - anyone have a tricky way of forcing the loaded swf to use the classes it's compiled with rather than the ones already defined in the parent swf (and vice versa) or do I need to refactor all my stuff?
The XML file is structured this way....<Node myURL="images/cow.jpg" myTitle="Cow" myDesc=" libero sed dapibus aliquet, quam risus luctus lacus, vitae tincidunt dui diam dictum mauris. Morbi tempor, Nunc eleifend sapien ut odio pharetra eu aliquet eros fermentum.Proin et nisi vel risus eleifend pulvinar. "myThumb="images/thumbs/cow_thumb.jpg" here it is...
allOnlinelink.push(element .@onlinelink); allOfflinelink.push(element .@offlinelink); the next function pulls the url of the current index
I am using get/set functions to make variables that are (or appear to be) read only. I can get it to work with instance variables, but not static variables. I found this, which seems to indicate that it's possible to use get/set functions on static properties, but the compiler keeps telling me I have duplicate function declarations. This is essentially what I'm using:
package { public class Foo { protected static var bar:int = 0; public static function get bar():int {return bar;} } }
I created an E-learning project for a customer that has pages that require the user to make keyboard entries. When the user enters a specific letter, the page progresses. The pages work as expected until the customer places the project in a 'wrapper' that controls the navigation. When this is done, the user can make the keyboard entries, but now the page will not progress to the next section. It seems that the wrapper is stopping the system from detecting that the specific letter is pressed.
I execute the SFW from FLA (CTRL+ENTER) and all works fine, in case myloader can't find an url, it execute a function. When i publish the work and i open the HTML page, the function is not called, like if the error listner doesn't work
ActionScript Code: myloader.contentLoaderInfo.addEventListener(IOErro rEvent.IO_ERROR, immagineinesistente); function immagineinesistente(event:IOErrorEvent):void {[code]....
Why when i execute the project from FLA all works fine while opening it into an html page don't?
In our application,we have a web service which wll return images to the client according to the parameter.Now,we want to make sure that the image can not be used by no-permissioned user and can not be intercepted through the network.So we want to encrypt the image in the server side,when the client get the image,it should be decrypted accordingly. However our application is browser based. It seems that in the browser we can not use javascript to decrpte the image stream.
Assume that each client which call the service is absolute safe.We try to use a hidden flash in the page,which may decrpte the image and save them to local,then show them in the page, this will use the communications between the js and flash.But we have to decrype the image use the flash language other than c# or java.
UPDATE:Our service for servering images:
[URL]
This url is public,so any one can use this service with different paramter.Even we add a key paramete like this:
[URL]
THen we meet two problem:
1)how about other people know this key,even we bind the key with the ip or mac addresss.
2)How about the user grap the http package directly? Then he do not need know any parameter,he can intercept the whole image steam.
I'm trying to encapsulate a package so that classes, properties, and methods that have no meaning outside of the project aren't accessible. They do, however, have to be accessible by other classes in the project, so internal is insufficient - the internal properties of parent.foo.AClass can't be accessed byparent.bar.AnotherClass. I was under the impression that namespaces could solve this problem, so I tried this:
//Class in top level package, where we make our namespaces package parent { public namespace myproject;
I have a class, call it MyClass, and there are several variables that I need to be able to access each instance of from within the class.So for instance, I need the object myObject1, a member of MyClass, to store the variable myNumber.From the main timeline, if I trace myObject1.myNumber, I get whatever number I've stored.
However, I need to check the numbers against another parameter, so I need to be able to test if myObject.myNumber == myOtherNumber. But from within the class, if I trace this.myNumber or myNumber I get null.What is the proper syntax for accessing a variable within a class?
I have an mc called sunny. In the properties panel I export her for actionscript. I put Sunny in the main class and Drag in the base class. The reason for this is that I want her to be draggable. I can't use Drag in the main class as another object is using that name. The Drag.as has the drag functionality. Why can't I drag her. I already have a solution - I wrote a specific class for her and extended the Drag class. However, if I have 10 mcs I'm not going to write specific classes for all of them. Summing up: Using the base class Drag in properties panel - why isn't she draggable?
I'm pretty new to fully using class's for my programming (in-frame scripting satisfied me for a while). I am having a problem accessing the properties of a class from another class. The first class (I'll call it controller) receives a reference to an object of another class (I'll call it display). Display have several specialized subclass (I'll call one SequencedDisplay). SequencedDisplay has a timer in it that I need to access:
I'm wondering if anyone has experience with if there is a big difference in performance in ActionScript 3 between keeping a class with only public static functions, and utilizing those functions often (as in a frame event at 30fps), and in turning the class into a "normal" class of which I instead make an instance and call the functions via the instance instead.
I realize this is kind of an odd issue, but I am wondering if there's any way to get Flash to allow me to access a class's static functions using a class variable that points to the class. Example:I create a class called FooClass that has a static function named fooI then create a variable of type Class that points to it
Code: var class:Class = Class(getDefinitionByName("FooClass")); However, when I try to call foo() using the variable, it errors saying the function
Main is my doccument class . how can i call Main.Caller
package { import flash.display.Sprite; import flash.events.Event; public class Main extends Sprite { public function Main():void { if (stage) init(); else
i have created a Vehicle.as file and a Car.as file which are in the same project. The problem i am having is trying to use the properties in my Car.as from my Vehicle.as file.
[Code]...
When i type this line of code, _gasMileage = mpg; and build it i get the following error, C:UsersvistaDocumentsFlashDevelopProjectsVehi cleAppCar.as(20): col: 4 Error: Attempted access of inaccessible property _gasMileage through a reference with static type Car. Now i tried to add an import statement i.e import Vehicle but that did not work. How can i use the private attributes of my Vehicle class in my Car class appropriately?
I have two movie clips on the stage at frame 1 and frame 2. Both are instances of seperate classes. (They are not dynamically created, just their linkage is set to their class names)I have created soundChannel and Sound Objects in Class 1 and I want to access them from Class 2. (I want to stop the sound channel that was started in class 1)Is there any way to do this? If yes, will this be true for other properties also?
I've been working on a project in Flash CS3 for a while. To follow an object on the screen and keep it centered, I'd adjust the Document Class' x and y properties.
Yesterday I bought/installed Flash CS5 and thus Flash Player 10 was also installed. Now when I go play my SWF it seems everything is all buggy, as if the code that modifies the Document Class' x and y properties isn't exactly working properly...
I've since reopened the CS3 FLA in CS5 and converted it to a CS5 format and I can't seem to get it working the way it used to.
Did something change regarding the Document Class and how to modify the x / y properties of it in the Flash Player 10 version? I really don't know what's going on at this point.
I have a class - call it MyClass - and an instance of that class with instance name myObject.In MyClass I declare:
public var myVariable:Number; In the main timeline I try to set it using myObject.myVariable = 3;
In the main timeline, if I do a trace (myObject.myVariable) it will return 3. Within the class, if I do a trace of (this.myVariable) it returns null.However, if I add a line of code in my class and add this.myVariable = 3, it traces 3.Why can't I get myObject to correctly change its own parameters?
I've created a movie clip and placed it in the library. I've given it a class name via the properties panel in the library. Every time I drag it to stage I want to make sure its alpha is set to 0. If I drag 300 of those clips to stage, is there a way to reference the class name I gave it in order to automatically set the alpha value as soon as they're dragged into the stage?
when I try to access a property of the document class from another class, I get an error:
Quote:
1119: Access of possibly undefined property _left through a reference with static type flash.displayisplayObject.
Maybe I'm not doing it correctly? This is how I've been accessing document class properties so far. Does the fact that they're private make a difference?
I can't use a "for in " loop to enumerate public properties of a custom class. So I have a class "ClassA" , which has some public properties. if I try :
I'm currently working on an interactive app, (site) which requires me to modify a few textfields, and change images dependant on the user choice (using mouseevent). This is a separate module, thus I'm posting the question in here instead:there are three images, that are lined up, with a textbox next to them. When a image is chosen, and enlarges, the text changes with the chosen image, according to XML.The textFields, 'text_title', 'text_description' are contained in a movieclip, called 'textbox'.This has been built in the Flash IDE (CS3) named info.fla/swf, which refers to a Document class 'com.info', made in Flex Builder 3...I attempted to modify the textfields using this:textbox.txt_title.text = "Loading";textbox.txt_desc.text = "test";But, I was unable to at first to change the text using the document class, as it gives "1120: Access of undefined property <variable>".
I'm just starting to learn about classes in actionscript, I am following along with Moocks book Actionscript for Flash MX and are trying to execute a trace on the properties of my ballclass but all I get is undefined. He is what I have in my actions panel.[code]
