ActionScript 3.0 :: Put A 720 X 576 .mov File Through The Video Encoder?
Feb 2, 2011
When I put a 720 x 576 .mov file through the video encoder, it's got black bars on the left and right of the actual video. I've got a feeling that Adobes Encoder doesn't particularly like anything other than a video with an Aspect Ration of 16:9. Anyone know a fix for this?
Also, if the clients videographer cannot provide me with a 1024 x 576 .mov (16:9) file instead, is it possible for me to get his 750 x 576 down to the required size of 512 x 288?
I've been using the flash video encoder to convert videos to FLV to put on websites. Today I converted a MPG file to FLV. The original MPG video worked fine, the FLV file played sound but no picture..
I have managed to put some captions on a video file and would now need to get this video back into flv format to put it online;..I tried with the cs3 video encoder but it wouldn't let me.... So my questions are:
1. Is it actually possible to convert my swf file into flv with cs3 video encoder ...which would be logical as it is a flash file...
2. What is the best option I Have to convert my swf file with captions without losing the captions...
I'm trying to convert a WMV file into Flash. I know that this can be done using DW8's Flash Video Encoder ....but it seems this function is no longer availabe in CS5.
Does anyone else have problems encoding WMV files into FLV using Flash Video Encoder? Mine almost always crashes in this situation and was wondering if this is common.
I'm having a bit of trouble with flash cs3 video encoder. I'd like to encode some mpeg files to flv but I keep getting errors when trying to encode. The mpeg files are raw imported from my dvd video cam. I'm guessing they are mpeg-2 720 by 480 res. Quicktime files encode fine but I haven't tried any other video types. I thought it was a codec problem as all I use is vlc for video. So I tried k-lite codec pack nut no success, same errors. Just wondering if anyone had any advice. I suppose I could encode my mpeg files to mov first? But what encoder would I use to keep high quality?
For some reason I am unable to create a FLV file from a MP4 file with high bitrate. I even created a custom setting and specified bitrate as 2500 but the output file is always around 775.
I have a 720x576px clip (anamorphic), which I want to encode into a flv with the right aspect ratio (720x405px). In the new flash media encoder, you have three settings.
- Scale to fit - Black borders - Change output size
But none of those settings allows me to stretch the video to the right aspect ratio, I always get the file with 720x405, but black borders left and right.
I am having an interlacing issue when I load my .flv files up to my site.The strange thing is that when I watch them after encoding in Flash Video Encoder (with adobe AIR) the interlacing does not appear. I can't understand why the interlacing issue would appear once the videos are loaded up to the site and yet they look perfectly crisp and clear when I watch the completed .flv's in AIR. I didn't de-interlace the videos the first time I created the .flv's but that shouldn't matter since they play fine in AIR right? Of course I can go back through and de-interlace them, but I want to make sure that this is the problem before I take the time to re-encode them all.
Can flv files be different and kinda awkward, if their produced in older or newer version of flash video encoder? Or anyoher software programs that can convert to the flv format? If so, have any of you folks come across an easy way to fix?
I having difficulties importing a .mov file into Adobe Media Encoder that came with my Flash CS4 Professional program
I am receiving an error telling me that the file could not be imported.I have QuickTime installed on my PC. The media encoder recognizes the file but is having problems importing the file. Error code is : g:PRIVATEJVCCQAVCLIP68_01.MOV could not be imported
I'm trying to compress a video into an flv for my flash file. When I compress the video using flash video encoder the video shows up white but I can see the audio. The original version is compressed using H.264. I don't know enough about codecs to know why its not showing video.
I keep getting "An internal application error occurred" when I put in my video. (MPG) Running Windows XP The Encoder at work does not work but the Encoder at my house does.
when i try to live stream with FMS! I can stream video with Flash media live encoder to the server but when i create the player to recieve the livestream from server,i can not recieve the live stream,can anyone give me a step by step tutorial of how to do it?
I suppose the title says it all. I can load an external video file (FLV) and I can have it play. I also have the custom buttons made to control the clip. The only thing I have left to do is to have the main timeline move onto frame 2 once the external video reaches its end. I am using actionscript 3 and flash cs 5.5.
Looking into HTML5 video tag, and researching which browsers support which video file types, and my initial thought is things just got harder than just using flash. I am wondering if there is some skeleton code (combined with development approach for videos) that someone has figured out to do the following: If flash is available, use it If not, try html5 video ogg format If that doesn't work, try html5 video h.264 format If that doesn't work, try html5 video webM format Based on what I am seeing, am I correct in thinking that now, in order to accommodate all users on all browsers, a video needs to be published in 4 formats? If so, this HTML5 video thing is an epic fail!
I had an flv recording from a webcam.It mostly recorded fine, but there's one point where I paused the broadcast for an intermission.A few minutes later the broadcast started again but the video doesn't play beyond that point, only audio plays.A few minutes later in the recording the broadcast switched to another camera and the video starts playing again just fine from there.I can't seek past the frozen point either to skip a couple of seconds ahead.The freeze is at about 9:00.If I seek to 9:01 it jumps ahead 8 minutes to where the camera switches.What's strange in this is that the video is *definitely* in the file.Using Moyea's FLV Editor Pro I converted the FLV to an MPEG and the whole video is there, so it's not that the camera stopped transmitting, it's just that the playback isn't working.
This will create an flv video file on flash media server:
var nc:NetConnection = new NetConnection(); nc.connect(null); var ns:NetStream = new NetStream(nc); ns.publish("yourCamera", "record"); ns.attachVideo(Camera.get());
How can I generate an image for the current video frame every 2 seconds?
I am using a flipbook Flash/Actionscript 3.0 framework for a digital magazine[url]...
You can have videos embedded in the pages of the flipbook, but they can not be display fullscreen like Youtube videos, for example.
The flipbook can also import swf files to display as pages of the flipbook, so another way of embedding videos into a page of the flipbook would be to have the video player in the swf page you are embedding. This gives you more control over the style and the positioning of the video.
My question is: Is there a way with AS3.0 to togle the embedded video from normal predefined size to fullscreen and back?
i want to know how i can put a flash file inside a flash wbsite. i have found a tutorial [URL] that says something like that but in this tutorial if i understand correctly it creates a new flash project and add another swf inside. i have my website created and i just want to add video gallery, image gallery etc that are already swf. how i can do that?
When i save the file as an .swf file to view it in my browser the video gets really big (sized the flash document 250x240 px) . How can i easily control my flash video sizes?
another thing: When im doing a video and work with things that are outside of my white document (in the gray area) for instance things that are to be faded into the document and so on. These things also show up in outside of my video when i view it in my browser.
i want to know how i can put a flash file inside a flash wbsite. i have found a tutorial (search on google for 4906532_within-another-flash-swf-file.htm since i cant add links) that says something like that but in this tutorial if i understand correctly it creates a new flash project and add another swf inside. i have my website created and i just want to add video gallery, image gallery etc that are already swf.
i am new to actionscript i need to download .mp3 and vedio file form my remote server how to do this give me any example source code for this.when i download .pdf its downloading properly. but not audio.
When trying to view the settings or start que on any .wmv (windows Media Video) file I drag into the flash video encoder, the program immediately crashes. I've tried many different WMV files from different sources, all the same outcome.
I have a slash template that I will be inserting video into, the template is set up for a .flv file ? what would I change in Dreamweaver or Coda to edit this file so that it can play video with a .swf file instead of a .flv file? here is the template
