Sep 21, 2008In my website I would like to import a external file into the stage .The appearance of this file is an image divided into a grid of 6 rectangles (each one a mcl). What I would like to do is, on mouse over, each mcl could rotate to show its back. The idea is when you click , let's say, Adobe the Adobe logo will appear divided in 6 rectangles and when you go over with the mouse they rotates to show Adobe products.

I want to make character to be MouseEvent.CLICK interactive. The problem is when I create a particle Animation of falling leafs the single leaf that is an instance of MovieClip blocks Character mouse Interaction. Is there a qay to fix container that holds the particle animation of Leafs so that it will not block Mouse Interaction whit mc below?

and now i want to use this quiz ( the swf file ) in a frame of an application i am working on. I want as soon the user clicks on a button to launch the quiz.
I tried any way found on net for importing external swf but it never works.
the buttons of quiz appear in the wrong place of the stage ( at the fla where the swf is loaded in )and nothing else is seen, textfields etc.

Apr 21, 2011How do I import a .swf so that the entire thing--all 50 frames of it in the case of the animation I'm importing--is centered on the Flash Stage? (I am using CS5). When I import it now it's automatically positioned in the upper left corner of the stage. And when I try to select all frames and align it to the center in the properties manager it will only center one frame of the 50-frame .swf at a time.

Professional :: Import To Stage Is Gray In The Menu?
Apr 4, 2012trying to add an asset to an unlocked layer in my Flash project, but File>Import>Import to Stage (Cmd-R on Mac) is grayed out.why is this? is flash telling me that my stage is some how inactive? I am in the scene. I see other graphic elements...my layer (in a group) is unlocked as is the parent of the group.

Jan 21, 2010So im working on a game, and i have a mvoie clip of class cPlayer in the library, i also have a class cUser which is an object of a user in the game.
i have an array of users,and have user[0]:cUser = new cUser() loaded when the game starts, which allows me to keep track of that user.
how do i make it so that upon initialization of a cUser instance, it loads an instance of cPlayer (a movie clip in my library) onto the stage, and also control that movie clip from within my class?
is it possible to have each cUser instance control its own cPlayer, or does there need to be another array to keep the cPlayers also?
XD im still trying to wrap my mind around the flash class strucutres.

Mar 7, 2011I created 3 buttons in flash (biography, music, contact). Whenever you hover over them,they animate. Is there a way to make these clickable objects in Dreamweaver? I've searched and found out about the 'invisible button', but this doesn't work for me because it takes away the animation I created.

She has no idea how to do this but it sounded to me like something that could be done fairly easily with flash and Actionscript. Personally, I have not used Actionscript in any of my projects since I bought CS3. Mostly I've just been too lazy to learn the differences between Actionscript 2.0 and 3.0, I know it uses a bit different of a syntax.
