i had a flash file, and the image was dynamically loaded in a movieClip. when i double click the image it will zoom max. and another double click it will retain its best fit.
I want to make a *.SWF in which the user inserts an address in the first frame, then in the second frame Google Maps shows that place. The problem is that I don't know how to zoom on a point without LatLng parameter. Probably, Geocoding would be the solution, but as I said earlier, I don't understand how it works in Flash. Could someone please either post a few lines or direct me to an example of geocoding in Flash?
am hoping someone here might have some source in the little bag o' trix that will put me on the right road to achieving the following. i am trying to work out the best way of creating a movie that has buttons that when clicked will zoom into and centre a certain area of a larger movieclip?
and then a way of dragging the zoomed into movieclip around the stage area? or panning using x/y positions of the mouse. (and without asking for the moon on a stick - if the user clicks on a empty part of the zoomed mc - it zooms back out to it's original size position?)
any have any fla files or know of any good tut's or threads that can will give me a leg up to get it working? fingers crossed has done this before or know a good place to start?
I have an image which I have converted to a movieclip. I have added a click event to it, and when clicked, I am trying to zoom into the image at the point it was clicked. I have tried following some code but ended up in a mess.

At the moment, it doesnt zoom in automatically (have to keep clicking). Also, it currently zooms out.
Really, the effect I am after is like a camera pan and zoom.
It works OK, but I have some small problems. I've modified it so I can move it with mouse scroll. But it registers scroll only after I click somewhere on stage.Also, I would like to add text field to every image, and read it's text from XML.
I was working with the sample code from the Click and Zoom 3D Carouse tutorial and was wondering if anybody figured out a way to have full rotation?
When the demo tutorial files first load the first image is the energy drink. The last is the cat. When you click on the cat first, the carousel, rotates all the way around to it rather than just one slot back. Similary, when at the cat (the last image) and clicking on the energy drink (the first), it rotates all the way around back rather than just one slot forward.
I have a movie clip(a large image that has the same size as the stage) and a button in a square that is small (150x150) . The zoom has to be like this: I click on the button once and I have to zoom in (only once) exactly where the square is (in the center of it). When I click the zoom button again I have to zoom out and every thing has to be like like the beginning. This is the code I have:
I'm aware of the .click() method but the click must be on a prezi loaded (flash) so don't really have a html element to use.
What I have instead are the exactly coordinates of the place I want to simulate click on. Is there any way I can do that?
The click must activate a flash element. (A play button)
Note: There is a similar question around that have an answer witch require swf control. I don't have that so that method is not applicable.
One other quick question... what happens if I simulate a click on an element that has display: none. It click on the elements "under" it? (as a normal click would do; and yes I know this sounds funny but I don't know how to explain it otherwise). If yes I was thinking of making a position absolute div, put it on top of flash and use .click(). The problem is that i have a feeling that the click won't be applied on flash.
This is somehow a combination of javascript simulate mouse click on specific position and mouse click somewhere else on page (not on a specific div).
I trying to make a modification to Lee Brimelow's "Click and Zoom 3D Carousel". What I want to do is make it rotate about every three seconds to the next image (without any mouse interaction). I tried using the timer but didn't really get all that close.

I'm having toruble with an image that I zoom into in flash. I got everything to work, only I want the clicked X and Y coordinats to center to the stage. ( so that the area clicked on always zooms in and position the area clicked to the middle of the stage) the image is a movieclip and it zooms with a tween, but i tried everything but the image wont center the stage..
does anyone have a clue for wich actionscript 3 code I can use to do this?

I'm trying to make a movieclip move slower at a certent place in my movieclip. This means, that the speed needs to be lowered when e.g. showing af picture. Here is the situation. I have a movieclip running different pictures. E.g. the first runs for 115frames and fades out. Instead of runing 115 frames i want the movieclip to run 5 frames (picture fading in) and the stops or delays for 10sek and then goes to frame 6 from where the picture fades out. Where in the movieclip should i place this Action Script?
I am building a flash interface and I would like a menu where it is hidden to begin with (just a tab). You click the tab to expand it, and click again to collapse it. I've made a movieclip with animation of the menu opening up and closing, but I can't seem to work out how I'd go about making the movieclip open and close properly.
im making a simple map. layer one has the background, layer 2+ has the invisible buttons when clicked go to another scene to show more info about that part of the map.
Is there a simple way to combine all those layers into one and allow a zoom up and pan so users can see the map closer?
I have created a 3D product view page with a scrub bar that spins the object via 32 images taken of the object all the way around.
I would now like to add a zoom and pan function of some kind as well. Anyone have any suggestions or FLA files with this sort of thing? The 3D spin images are inside a movieclip, so I basically need a "+" and "-" button to scale the images up, and then be able to drag the movieclip around the stage too.
how to resize a swf after I right click and use the "Zoom In" feature. There is a button on stage that goes to another frame when pressd. The movie clip in that frame needs to be set to show all but it opens in the zoomed in mode. I tried stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.SHOW_ALL but it didn't work.

This is my code so far and I can zoom in and out but I can keep going and going. I want that he stops after 200% or something and when he is 100% you cant zoom out more. Also I want a bounding so I cant move the MovieClip outside his own stage height and width.

What this does: when the mouse is passed over the movie clip "square", it begins to zoom, or enlarge. What i need to do is have the AS function perfectly on frame 1, then on frame 15 the script does not function at all, and the movieclip returns back to it's original size. (or after 15 seconds, whichever is more flexible).

I have a main.swf in which i load a xml flash slideshow (.swf). I want to place a menu which will be shown in front of the slideshow gallery. I place the menu at an upper layer but the menu appears behind the slideshow. generally(i.e. in case i want to place something else on top or behind something else)
How do I move a movieclip that is in a place of x and y screen by dragging the mouse? Did not want to use the startDrag because he actually drag the movieclip to the pointer.And it finishes removing the movie clip to the place it should be.
if i make say a button in my timeline, convert it to a button. and then remove it from the stage (it is still in the library) in my exeternal .as file how can i then place that movieclip on the stage? i know how to do this within the timeline, but not when it is an external .as file.
