Jun 19, 2011I have an iframe to a page where a Flash swf file is running; does anybody have an idea how to make it transparent so that my drop-down menu should be shown perfectly? Kindly be informed I can't edit the source page (add param = wmode, value = transparent to the Flash object), only if there is any chance to make it possible in iframe or some JavaScript on my page, I have already tried allowtransparency="true" and background-color="transparent".

Create Drop Shadow Becomes Very Pixelated?
Mar 25, 2010First i made the images with drop shadows in Illustrator and they looked fine there. When i copied them in to Flash they became pixelated.
I then got rid of the drop shadow in Illustrator and re-made it directly in Flash using the Filter/Drop Shadow property. It still is coming out very pixelated, even on "high quality" setting.

Sep 14, 2010I'm using Flash CS5 on Macintosh.Googling has led me to maybe a dozen tutorials on creating a drop shadow in Flash, so I understand how the procedure is supposed to work. Select the object and then look for "Filters" and apply the "Drop shadow" filter. Simple enough.But it seems that you can only apply a filter to an "object." The things I've been trying to create a shadow on are of type "drawing object." Everything else I've tried to create or import has some other name, and none of them have the Filters menu.I'm embarrassed to have to ask about something that should be (and according to all the tutorials is) drop-dead simple, but I just don't see any way to create a drop shadow in Flash.

Mar 13, 2010I have a flash project on the solar system. I created a drag and drop activity, dropping pictures near in the correct place/next to the correct name.
Everything is working perfectly but when I return to the home scene, the pictures are still being displayed from the acitivity even though they are on a different scene... they go away if I navigate through to different places.

What I am trying to acheive is that when the mouse rolls off the button, the menu disappears, the same when the mouse rolls of the menu, the sticking point is the rolling off the button to make the menu disappear.

Create five words that make up a sentence and they are mixed up in order. So basically I would turn each word into a Movie clip perhaps.
I would then like to assign a target hotspot for each word so that a user can drag the words into the correct order.
Once they are in the correct order they click a button to go to a correct response or incorrect response. Is this possible?

I am having problems making the image lock to the letter if it is correct. If the image is dragged to the incorrect letter it should go back to its orignal place.
At the moment the image can be dragged but it does not lock to the correct target instead it goes back to its original place even when it is dragged to the correct target.

Oct 31, 2011A student of mine is wanting to create a drag and drop game in which the user selects a possible answer for a range, drags it over a object named as "dropzone". the correct answer is left over the dropzone, and the user clicks the check button they need to be sent to a frame displaying "correct" - otherwise, sent to a frame for incorrect.I currently have a set up in which the user is given an auto response using a dynamic text box and all is done on the one frame, but this student wants to be a little different.

Jan 3, 2011I'm trying to add an element to the scene on the root level, and when it is dropped within a specific movie clip area, it takes that element and puts it in the movie clip, thus allowing me to mask out the area.
Everything works fine when I add can.addChild(myBox); directly, but the element is not viewable on the root scene, since the movie clip is masked. Right now with the code below, the result is gives me is not good. It creates the element on the root level, but doesn't allow me to put it in the movie clip.

Apr 29, 2009ive got the following code. bevvy is a movieclip, theres a dynamic text box called feedText nd a box.. imaginately called box. I'm trying to create a drag and drop game when the user drags a word into the box that will have its meaning beside it in a text box, the dynamic text box will tell them if they are right or not. if they are right the word stays, if not the word will go back to its original location. the dynamic text box will give feedback whether they are right or not.
the code below means that the word will stay in the box, but the text message is displayed all the time. i also have a reset button to make the word return to its origal location but id rather not have the button.
