Flash 10 :: Getting Rid Of "Download" Icon On Safari Browser Flash Player

Months ago I downloaded the iSkysoft Free Video Downloader for Mac OSX from the iSkySoft Free Video for Mac website.
I've fully removed the app, BUT - I've inserted two screen shots to demonstrate what I'm trying to get rid of. I'm stuck with a very annoying "Download" icon that POPS UP TOP LEFT when I mouse-hover on any and all Flash Player content on my Safari browser. I'm on Mac OS10.5.8. This is ONLY happening on my Safari browser. Not on Firefox or Chrome. I've removed all traces of the app. I've been everywhere in my system Library - Application Support - Safari folders - etc, I've looked everywhere. Updating Flash Player makes no difference. Clearing all data in the Flash Player System Preferences interface does not get rid of it. Clearing the entire Safair cache does not get rid of it. Re-installing Safari does not get rid of it. I've tried anything and everything I can think of and I've run out of ideas! Short of wiping my hard drive and re-installing Leopard which I do not want to do, I'm stumped. Every time I hover my mouse over Flash content - I'm STILL stuck with this highly annoying "Download" icon in the top left corner of all Safari Browser Flash content.

flash menu i have create for my web site it works 100% in microsoft explorer but in fire fox or safari i have a problem. The menu is set to transparent as their are drop down menus from main nav bar, in fire fox you can see the text just below the menu bar but cannot touch any links but in explorer you can no problems.This the code:

I am having a problem. I found the actionscript 2 code to open a browser window, but it is not working in Safari, or Firefox. I found an old action script 1 file version 5 for the flash player that works just fine, but I am using 8 and actionscript 2 so that doesn't work for me.

I have flash component in a website, which shows a preview. There are some UI components overlaid on the preview to allow navigation. Unfortunately it seems that in Safari on Macs, there is a problem:When the user zooms in or out (using the browser based page zoom), my overlaid UI items disappear for some reason. This does not happen on any other platform.I would have though that this zoom function would be something that is taken care of solely by the browser/Flash plugin, however, perhaps there is something I can do to force a 'redraw'?

Can anyone give me a clue as to why this markup works fine in Safari, but not in Firefox?This should load an ugly blue placeholder (which I get in safari) but in Firefox, swfobject just gives me the alternative content.[code]

Is there any way to disable the "Download This Video" button from RealPlayer. It seems that when users have RealPlayer installed on their machines, it automatically adds a "Download This Video" button to any SWF that loads an FLV.
Edit: My intention isn't to prevent someone from downloading the SWF or FLV, I would just like to remove the ugly button that RealPlayer adds on top of my Flash content.

I can only find how to download the actual PLAYER for 10.1, but which library is used in conjunction with it?Will the latest release of the Flex SDK have the libraries for the multi-touch events etc?Or is the SDK for 10.1 only available to people who work for Adobe? will porting to iPhone supported formats only be available in Flash Professional, or will SDK users also have that option?

I am designing a fairly simple site made up of a swf (AS3) in an html page. I'm relatively new to it all, but was doing ok until recently! The problem I have is this: The swf within the html loads perfectly from my local drive in all browsers, but when published to the remote server does not display correctly in Safari or Chrome... It is fine in Firefox.
To see it correctly, use Firefox and the link below. To see it fail at the preloader (in fact, it distorts the design of the pre-loader and goes no further) use Chrome or Safari. [URL] The site is unfinished, so there are other issues you may find which I am solving, but this is the one of concern.

this forum is labeled "there is no such thing as a stupid question in here", so... I want to download the Flash Player 7 SDK, but the Adobe website has discontinued it in favour of Flash Lite. So far as I know, it was freely downloadable (at least for non-commercial use) until 2007, but now it has disappeared entirely from the 'net.

This has been going on for quite sometime and I've just neverfound any solution. On sites with Flash it asks me to download theplayer. I have the player already, but I download it anyway. Thebox on the Flash site shows that yes, I do have Flash installednow. Then I go back to the site that uses Flash and I'm back to thestart - download Flash Player.I can't understand why if it's on my computer, why the sitekeeps asking me to download it again, yet it shows I do have it onmy computer.I started to use Macromedia Flash 8 Training from the Source,James English, and needed to play Flash in one of the tutorials. Itsent me to the download site. I downloaded, shows the Flashmovement in the sample box that if you have Flash you will see itin the box. I updated the flash library XML/SWF (chart library) to the latest version on my web application but the users still see the charts with the old library which is saved in there browser cache.How can I force the browsers of my users to download the latest version of the SWF files.I can't add a parameter at the end of the SWF file like : charts.swf?v=1234.
If I do that I get an error because the chart library load dynamically other SWF files of the library. The charts.swf file will be the new version but the other files will still be from the older version and I will get an error...

This might be a simple question, but I'll ask it anyways. I know when I update my flash website I have to clear the cache to view the changes. Now, will all users have to do that to see the new changes, or will the browser eventually detect changes and download the new version?

I have just installed Flash Media Server developer version 4.5 on my server, the Start Screen appears and keeps asking me to install Flash Player version 10.2 or above. I have repeatedly installed Flash Player 11 to no avail. I have tried to start the Admin Console but it just shows the 'get flash player' icon. I can confirm that Apache is running as I get an error from it when I try to access the Admin Console from the Internet. The Adobe web-site confirms that Flash Player 11 is installed and working correctly for the Operating System, Windows 2k8-R2. I have restarted the server to make sure everything has installed correctly, but it makes no difference.

I wish to use Stage3D and Context3D in ActionScript. For that I need to download the beta version of Flash Player 11. However, I can't find the equivalent Flash Builder SDK with the mxmlc executable that can compile ActionScript into Flash 11 capable Shockwave Flash files. Possible Duplicate: losing extension when use FileReference download I'm having an issue that looks common when using the FileReference class in FP10 when saving a file. The whole thing works fine as long as I don't change the default filename. If I do, then I loose the extension of the file... which is annoying >_< I haven't found any "acceptable" workaround, but the posts I've seen are from a couple of months already. So I'm inquiring hoping that something's been done regarding this issue since then =)

So I basically have used the fileReference class to allow the user to download a determined file if he wants to.
I use the file.download(URL) function and it works well.
However, the file is downloaded and saved to the hard drive using only the flash player. The browser is not aware of the download, and thus, if I want to show the progress of the download I'd have to make some progress bar myself. I know how to do it, but it would become really tedious and take too much UI space.
Isn't there a damn way in Flash to "send" a determined file to the browser so that it prompts the user to download it? It's an image file, so navigateToURL doesn't cut it since it will just display the image, both if I use a new tab or the current one.

i have created a silverlight application , but i need to embed it to a Flash file(swf) which it runs with Flash Player ( whithout using browser), I had found a solutions to call it using javascript, but it still needs my flash file run inside the browser, dose any one can help me, Either to run js inside swf (without need of browser) or any other way that i can embed my Silverlight application inside Flash.

I have numerous swf files which work except one that is rather complex. When I debug the FLA of this problem file in flash CS4, it works fine. When I publish the FLA and open the subsequent SWF in Flash, it works fine. I open the same file in Flash Player or when I open it on a browser, the screen is white and nothing happens. When a right click on the browser frame and it offers me all the possibilities of a fully loaded movie, except that there is just a blank screen
