I've been using Jumpeye Accordion Panel V3 at some projects and this time a client asked me to make one where he will add a list of projects and as time goes on he will add pictures for all or most of them. So, I need to know if there's a way (in the component itself or with a code snippet) to make the panel open only the titles that have a corresponding image entered in the external .xml file. Those that have no image shouldn't be clickable and shouldn't open a blank gap. Tried using a transparent 1x1 gif but it looks real bad as it opens a lot more than 1 pixel height
View 1 RepliesI have an accordion component on my stage and I really do not even know where to start to do .I found this code on the Adobe help pages and it causes the movement of the accordion to bounce... which is great... but my problem is populating the accordion with the data.

I just downloaded Flash CS5 for mac which installed without any errors. However, when I first launched the software I am getting the following error: The following panel layout is missing or could not be read: /users/rob/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Flash CS5.5/en_US/Configuration/Workspace/Essentials.xml The application will not have a correct layout. load one from Windows ->Workspace Once past this message none of the panels load.

View 2 RepliesHaving some strange problems with masks in FMX 04: We're developing an accordion style interface. The problem is that buttons and images/mcs that are outside the "masked area" of each module are somehow clickable, or are "invisibly" pushing other content up/down. So basically the buttons/mcs are hidden, but Flash is still seeing them somehow. Is this normal mask behavior? Is there a solution besides setting the button to _visible = false? This is effecting my interface in other ways as well.
View 2 RepliesI have basic movie clips, On roll over, show arrows [NEXT, PREVIOUS] on movie clip [they then show other images inside movie clips]I can show arrows on roll over.But when i roll over the arrows the main ROLLOUT function gets called, the arrows hide. I've tried several flagging methods and have resulted in using a larger invisible border around the clip, rolling over that hides them.

View 3 RepliesI've noticed recently (the last week) that when I open Flash CS4, the Tools panel and the Actions/Timeline/Compiler Errors/Output panel group are not automatically open, like they always were before. Does anyone know of anything I could have changed by accident?
At the same time this started happening, I have a file that has a moving hot spot that is set with keyframes (depending where the active button is on the bitmaped screen capture behind the button). Even though the button's onRelease handlers are advancing the timeline correctly, my button is not in the right place in the runtime version. If's still fine in the development environment. It's like the layers are out of sync with each other.
Is there a flash help panel besides, the help window (F1)?

I need to find the components help panel for a "help book" for Flashtuning component.
So, I popped open up Flash CS5 just now, and I couldn't find my projects panel. I was working on a dual screen set up previously, so my windows were everywhere anyways (sans external). I switched over to a smaller screen workspace, and popped opened the projects panel. Oddly enough, the code snippets panel came up instead. So, I switched off the code snippets, and tried again. I've been trying different ways of opening this panel for about 15 minutes, and I'm totally stumped. Some thorough googling didn't present any relevant results, so, StackOverflow, I turn to you. Is this a known issue? is there a secret backdoor way to open this panel?

I found there is a gap between the datagrid and the second accordion tab. The more HBox I add, the bigger gap it has.Workaround:I tried to add verticleGap = "0", this fix the problem. But according to the documentation, verticleGap by default is -1, which still should not see the gap.[URL]

Well i know where it lies if i used my own laptop with the prescribe flash in it.
