How To Run Multiple Test Movies In Flash (Sandbox Mode)

I'm making a binary socket server for Flash and I'm trying to figure out a way to run Multiple clients in a local environment for testing purposes. Tried to run the exported flash movie in my browser (to open multiple tabs of flash swf) but I just could not figure out how to solve the cross-domain problem. I'm running my server right from my PC (localhost) and just simply want to test my darn Flash document multiple times so I can simulate multiple clients.

I am creating a flash, virtually it has 2 columns, right side play a video, and the left side will display some text. But there is a problem. The flash and text both are fine when I play flash in window mode, however, when I press Ctrl+F enters into full screen mode, the text won't show up. If I exit the full screen, the text show up again. Go back to full screen disappear again.So I try to debug the flash by dumping some trace result to the Output panel. Since the problem only happened in full screen mode, so I really need to test the flash in full screen mode. But I cannot find a way to test the flash (Ctrl+Enter) in full scree mode.why the text disappear OR Why to test flash in full screen mode?

In Flash, if I Test Movie in normal mode (Ctr + Enter) I get no complaints about accessing URLs. The SWF's sandbox is "localTrusted". However when I debug Test Movie (Ctr + Shift + Enter), the sandbox is different. I then get complaints about accessing URLs; Security Sandbox Violation "...Untrusted local SWFs may not contact the Internet..." if localWithFile, and "...denied due to lack of policy file permissions..." if localWithNetwork.
Is this a "feature"? If so, I'd like to be able to turn it off. It would be nice if there was simply a warning, and not actual failure. To fix it, I could trust the file using global trust settings, but that seems silly just for debugging.

I have a Flash file someone made for me 6 months ago. Currently, I needed to update an image in Flash and when I run a test, the old image always shows up. I ran F9 to see if there is an embedded call for it in an action script and there is none. Then I looked at the entire Library for an Old Image. I still could not find it. Lastly, I went through the timeline and got nothing too

I've had no such problem like this until today. Basically when i try and drag an object from photoshop to the stage in flash, everything looks great on the stage and usualy everything looks fine in the test / debug mode. But suddenly i've come up against a very anoying problem. Everything looks great on the stage, but as soon as I go to test the movie, the image quality of whatever it is I have imported goes terrible. Like its been compressed to less than 10kb!The image looks fine on the stage but the problem accurs when I try to test to movie.I have tried importing different size images, not transforming the images in flash, making sure all the settings (I know of) are on high.

I have loaded various external swf in my flash site,thew problem is that when i test my site with ctrl+alt+enter they all display properly, when i test the movie form its folder or online some of their functions or aspects bug.

I've got four swf containing AS3, I want them to display in a row on full-screen mode. I can do this in AS2 bij loading them (other swf's with AS2) in timelines and fullscreen with fscommands. But I've tried searching for an AS3 solution the net a few days and looked for onEnterFrame and loadMovie etc. I just can't manage it.I can load one swf with:

I have obtained the Free Video to Flash Converter v 4.7.25 build 602 from www.dvdvideosoft.com, and find it creates flash movies from my .wmv files fine.
I selected the 'New Maxi' player and after converting a file, sample HTML script is provided to put onto a web page. Also, it directs copying the contents of the folder in which the movie is created into the folder that contains the web page.
I've done this OK, as can be seen on [URL] where there are four movies selectable amongst the 'still' pictures (e.g. 9th row, first column).
Each uses a hyperlink to a separate page for each movie containing the script provided above in its own folder with the copied contents mentioned above. This all works OK, and enables a full-screen view of the movies if required.
My query concerns the fact that I duplicate most of the files and folders for each movie page, when only the actual .flv and preview .jpg are different.
I've tried putting the 'common' files into a separate folder ( fl ) and only keeping the html page and settings.xml in each movie page folder. I put all four flv files in the fl.videos folder.
I amend the references to swfobject and videoPlayer in the individual four movie html pages by putting ../fl/ in front, and similarly with the videos location in settings.xml
When I do this, I get a black rectangle, but no controls, no start picture and no video.

I'm using flash CL4, and here is the thing:I got a few minigames that I made in flash, each is a separate file, and now I've made a new file which is gonna be the menu to navigate between them. What I want is that a user can press "game1" button, in my menu flash file and he get to my game1 flash game. Likewise with game2, game3 etc.
How do I do this? is it possible to import my flash games into this menu file, and still get it clean? I tried doing it, but it gets very messy with all the timelines and such.Or would it be easier to just do a URL link and redirect the user to the different files when he press one of the game buttons?

We have a flash website built using flex and CS3. Majority of the site has been done using flex. We have multiple flash movies on a page and we obviously have the page loading very slow. Now that we are looking into options for making the page fast, we are trying to understand whether we can run these flash movies in parallel ? Is there some provision in CS3 to make the flash understand that this object will be loaded and ran first and then the second object.

I have a set of users who run my application in non debug mode. Off late they have been reporting lot of issues. But I am not able to debug as there is no log file.Is it possuible in flex 3 to do logging in a file without running in debug version. I understand trace only works if we run application in debug version.

i have a movie that has worked fine in past during Html test but ive been doing some dubugging using the flash test latly and it runs fine here but when i go back and try to test in Html mode no errors come just the movie never fully starts (starts up about as much as if there was an error).

I want to test my new Air iOS and multiple devices (iPhone v3, v4, touch, etc.). There are excellent resources from Apple on how to do this for Xcode, but I can't seem to get any of them to work for Air iOS. I can create the new provisioning file and .ipa file, but fails to upload onto any other devices (but it does appear in iTunes, but the add box gets unchecked when I sync).The last resort is to build multiple .fla versions of the same app for testing each device (plus certs and provisionings), but that seems crazy.

I bought a template from flashmo which comes one main flash file and photoalbum fl. file. The main flash file plays swf. file from photoalbum. I like to create many photoalbums and play them on the main file.I have no idea how to do that. I'm using the MovieClipLoader () class to load 1 swf and 1 jpg, what I want is that once BOTH are loaded a certain command get executed.
Right now the command get executed twice, since it does it once the swf is loaded, and once the jpg is loaded:

In short I am trying to have a looping movie clip (already an flv) on the 1st frame with a button that goes to the next frame where the movie only plays once (transition) and goes to frame 3,loads up a menu with a movie clip thats looping and from then a menu that links to other looping movies on different frames with text etc.

I'm having a problem with a hitTest that I'm not sure how to correct. Long story short, I have a box that is added to the stage and beings to tween down to the bottom. If the user presses the left arrow to catch the object before it leaves the stage, they get 1 point (hooray!).The issue that I'm having is this...multiple instances of the same MC are supposed to be added to the stage by a timer but because of how I've set it up, they all have the same instance name. That leaves me with one of 2 options. I can get the hit test to work, but only 1 instance ever actually shows up or a bunch show up, but the hitTest fails. How can i add multiple instances of the same object, but still be able to determine if one of them is overlapping the box when the user hits the arrow key?[code]

how to do a search function accross multimple swf movies in a cd rom. The situation is like this: i m making an elearning project where i have around 17 to 18 chapters. Now, all the chapters are in flash and they are seperate movies. Now, if someone wants to search for something inside the cd, like say, they are searching for "entertica" then all the pages that is related to that word should show up.. like google search.
