I have downloaded the flash cs5 and the right/bottom panels move sometimes. They move 1-2 pixels and move back again every few minutes and it is annoying. I have winXP sp3.
I could reinstall the trial but I dont know if security will prevent me doing this (only 2 days into the trial).
I'd been following several answers to similar problems with no luck at all, so i decided to try asking by myself:I have a page with several links that have to load data via Ajax using jquery and put the response inside a div. The main "tab" is a flash wich is inside a layer.Every time a user clicks on any of those links, flash container is resized to 0px and set visibility to hidden (trying to prevent the reload behaviour if display is set to none).
All works just fine EXCEPT the first time you click on any link that hides flash layer. In that particular case (only in Firefox) it resets the flash to initial state. I'm going nuts about this..

I had to reinstall my flash cs3. I have downloaded all the updates. But applications I made prior to my reinstall that were playing mp4 videos will no longer work. First, the tab areas of the window panes in Flash go blank.See:[url].....I could understand if I was working on a slow PC. My system scores a WEI of 7.2. I'm running Win7 Pro 64-bit. It's very bizarre and distracting. I have to open and close the windows to make them look normal again.Secondly, and even more importantly, Flash does not seem to compile any actionscript! I created a new AS3 file. I tried a simple trace command, and it won't even output the trace.

I haven't fully grasped how the flash security model works, and now I've ran into a problem. I have a base SWF that loads a game loader swf, which in turn loads the actual game.What I'm trying to do is taking a current bitmap snapshot of the running game. This works fine before the loader swf has loaded the game. When the game is loaded, I get a security violation because the game has images pulled from facebook. Is this something that can be solved on my end, or restricted by security in the game swf?
View 2 RepliesI installed Flash CS4 a couple of days ago. Trying it out for the first time today. I went to import a video & got a message: "The required version of Adobe Media Encoder is not installed or the installation is damaged. Please reinstall."
I'm showing a Media Encoder CS4 folder under my Adobe folder, so I assume I've got the latest version installed, but it's a corrupt installation & I need to reinstall. My question is: do I need to redo the whole Flash CS4 installation? The reason I ask is that our IT provided me with multiple files for the install - there's ADBEFLPRCS4Win_LS1.exe. That's for the main install. But there's also a ADOBEFLPRCS4Win_Cont_LS1.exe. That's the added content file. I don't want to uninstall/reinstall Flash if I don't have to. Does anybody know if Media Encoder installs from the main Flash installation file, or from the added content installation file?
I've had the CS3 web premium suite since 2007, but I've always had problems with Flash, though it's never been a huge problem until now. I don't know for sure, but I suspect there might be a problem with the disk, so I'm trying to see if I can fix the problem by downloading the Flash CS3 trial and activating it with my CS3 suite key. I downloaded the trial and it installed corrected as far as I can tell, but it keeps rejecting my key, saying that it's not valid, even though the CS3 suite is already activated on my computer and, even if it wasn't recognizing that, I still have one activation left. And I did make sure I typed it in correctly.

Loading the swf file and testing it on my machine works just fine... I think that may have something to do with me having the debugger version of Flash Player. When I push it up to App Engine to make it public, other clients access it and get a Client.Error.MessageSend Channel.Security.Error error Error #2048 url: http:[url].......I am using Flex 4 beta, and the App Engine Python runtime. I have tried full wildcard in the crossdomain, and even accessing the data endpoint at a relative URL so as to avoid this error.
I cant install flash builder trial on my laptop winXP prof as I get an error message after I click on setup and about a few minutes into installing. It says to restart the PC ?

I was quite excited about the new feature of the open FLA format and tried to save some existing FLA files as XFL using the CS5 Trial. I don't know whether the the feature is still in development, but it isn't working as expected at all which is some kind of disappointing.
It seems that the Flash IDE isn't capable of exporting existing bitmap assets properly and saving them to the appropriate path in the library folder in the file system. After trying to access the bitmap multiple times within the IDE and hitting the "Save as..." command multiple times and overwriting the current XFL, some bitmaps are magically partly there. Some others are not. Some of them have 0kb filesize and seem to be corrupted.

Is this because the save feature is turned off for the trial version or was it just my computer? If I can't save using the trial version than I wasted memory on my computer and a lot of my time downloading the trial version that isn't going to be very useful to me.
