JQuery :: Ajax - YouTube Object Template Not Showing When Links Added

I have stored an object template in a variable and then I'm adding the video links via jQuery. I'm doing this because eventually the links will be added into the object template via ajax. However, the video does not show up. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong. The sample code is in action here: [URL]

I've looked high and low for an answer to this and I'm hoping someone has an answer, or at least a tip on how to avoid it.I'm loading a static HTML file into a container via the jQuery load() method. This static HTML file has a script which loads a swf. When I load that particular file, I get the white screen of death (WSOD) and the page explodes and everyone in the room dies a horrible death.I've had this happen also when using the jQuery wrap methods (wrap, wrapOuter, etc.) when a swf is present.It seems manipulating the DOM with a container that has a swf object causes this. Does anyone have a solution or a way that I can prevent it happening?

I have an object which needs to be added to an array, but when it is, it doesn't show the string inside. However, when I alert the exact same object, I get the result I'm looking for.
Here's my code.
newArray.push(obj.responseData.results[i].phoneNumbers[0].number);
alertMe(obj.responseData.results[i].phoneNumbers[0].number);
The first line shows nothing in that location in the array, and the second pops up a phone number, just like I'm after.

I am confused I should hire flex developer or Java script developer to deliver such project, looking at low bandwidth issue in India, which technology is more preferred? will using flex can effect search engine to crawl/read website content?There are 30 odd filters for user to find his/her desire product.

I have a coldfusion page that uses JQuery UI TAB to load another coldfufion page which includes a cfchart in flash format. But this works completely fine in FF.(everything was loaded, flash cfchart, tables ...)

However in IE: all of the html elements that are generated with the flash object are loaded, except the flash object and embed tags do not show up at all after running an ajax call in IE.
how can i fix this error to let the flash cfchart display inIE?

What are the difference between using an AJAX or JQuery upload plugin vs. using a Flash upload plugin for browser uploads, especially as it relates to the uploading of very large fies (1-2GB). Is there any reason to go with one over the other?

I am trying to load some flash banner code (from database) into a webpage using jquery ajax.It is all working when adding the flash code in code-behind but when I am trying to load it with ajax some flash banners make the complete website disappear and only shows the banner.I am using jQuery Ajax and the response is in html like:[code]I am using .html() to add it to the page.

Im looking for a jquery or ajax file uploader, Im currently using the FancyUploader which worked great until Flash brought out their update making all flash progress bars absolete, now whenever I try to upload large files... it will fill the progress bar to 100% in a matter of seconds even though the actual upload finished minutes after. So im now looking for a new uploading script that DOESNT require flash but can still display the progress.

I have a piece of jQuery that requests a file (using .load() method) with some HTML and an embedded Flash video player. IE7 doesn't seem to load the Flash video player, but it does load all the HTML and applies proper CSS to the elements. It works at least on FF3.6.6. I've tried both static embedding [1] and SWFObject [2]. I've also tried several different Flash video players and neither works. Both of the flash players load just fine if I don't request them with AJAX. Now is this is even possible? Are there any tricks to make this work? Or do I have to implement another way for IE?[1]:

I need to autoplay youtube video as I click on its thumbnail.Since IE doesn't support <EMBED> tag I need preset all needed values in <OBJECT> and then create a new object with my parameters.So I did something like this:

I am having some troubles embedding videos in a jQuery dialog. It displays and plays all well but it is always in front of other dialogs. When I pass another dialog over the one with the video the video stays on top of everything.

I'm using the HTML5 JW Player. It sizes the HTML5 video correctly, but shrinks the Flash fallback player; here's an example page: Test Page
If you view that page in IE, you'll notice that on panel 5, the video is smaller than the space it's supposed to occupy. On Firefox, it works fine because it's using the OGG video in its HTML5 video player.Is there a way to resize the Flash video via JavaScript/jQuery to fit the same space as the HTML5 video?

Recently I have made a simple flash application that utilizes a webcam feed and an embedded chromeless youtube player within it. I now need to make custom controls around the player but would like to be able to do that in html/css and control it with js/jquery. While I can find material helping me control the chromeless player directly ( as in solo embedded and not part of another flash app ). My question is that since the chromless player is embedded INSIDE of another flash app ( say test.swf ) can I still access the player in there from js?

I am trying to get a youtube video to play in a fancybox popup window. The popup window comes up okay, but the video does not play. Firebug indicates that all the necessary elements are loading, but no video.On this page everything works fine.On this page the window pops up but no video. Here is the html:

I'm having issues with a YouTube video breaking a jQuery slider when viewed on an Apple mobile device. The slider uses a set width & height window that uses the overflow:hidden property. It looks great in all browsers except for Apple devices where all of the slides are visible in a row as if the overflow:hidden property did not take effect.

In my project at the moment I am using Nicola Hibbert's liteAccordion slider.I have it all set up and it's working nicely but the project needs to have a YouTube video on each of the slides.I have used the classic embed code from YouTube to get the desired result, In Firefox and other browsers it's all good, singing and dancing.In Chrome, tears stream down my face as it has totally broke.

An IE issue has me completely stumped. I have a coldfusion page that uses JQuery's AJAX .load function to load in a new flash file that is generated by coldFusion's cfchart tag. This works completely fine in firefox: the new flash file and new html elements load. However in IE: all of the html elements that are geneated with the flash object are loaded, except the flash object and embed tags do not show up at all after running an ajax call in IE. After looking in Fiddler, the flash application type response data doesnt even show up for IE. It does however for Firefox.I thought maybe it has to do with any kind of media, so i changed the chart type to output as a jpg file instead of flash. And it loads completely fine in IE. So something is preventing IE from receiving the flash response data.Here's what i've done so far - and no luck so far:

I created an ajax jQuery featured content slider that will automatically navigate through each tab. Each tab has some basic html. The one I used is this one: [URL]. For some reason, when I embed a flash video in it, the flash video overflows the div. It looks fine in Chrome and Safari but not the latest version of Firefox (3.6) on the PC. Is it not handling overflow or z-indexes correctly?

I have successfully implemented a copy of uploadify into my site. The SWF button shows, I can click on it and browse my files. However, the rubber meets the road whenever it comes to file files showing the queue.For some reason, when I select a file, there isn't any queue, even though I have followed uploadify directions. on how to overcome this? I'm getting a list of movieclips with attached scripts to display, but when I try to put them on the sceen nothing shows up.I can trace the elements in the list and it will tell me there are elements there.I can trace getChildAt(numChildren -1) and it will tell me there is something there but nothing is visible.If I generate the list in the constructor of the class that handles the displaying it does show them, but when I try to load them when they are actually needed they don't show up.Here's a simplification of the code(its a small part of a larger project and I can't put all of it up somewhere public)This code does what it should do(unfortunately that is not what I need done)

The traces all show up so I know its running the method, the traces tell me it adds stuff the the screen, but what I see on the screen remains completely stagnant, as if nothing is being added.

I've been play around with Clippy and I having problems configuring it without compiling it myself.I noticed on Github that they use use Clippy for repo urls but when you mouse over it it doesn't show the standard "Copy to clipboard" text. With the design I am working at at the moment I would really like to emulate this but can't seem to work out how they've done it. Looking at the Github source the swf they use also shows the text on mouse over so I assume they haven't customised the Clippy swf itself.Does anyone who has used clippy before know what trick they might use?
