Media Server :: Adobe FMS Security Lag In HTMLProtection?
Dec 7, 2011
i just wanted to say that there is a security lack with the HTML Protection. If you have a domain e.g.and you protect your rtmp streams with html protection, you can steal streams like this if you know the swf path:Then you can steal easily streams.Asolution is to not allow all subdomains automatically when you enter a domain in the allowedHTML~.txt file. Then you could create a subdomain for the player,
Can Adobe Flash Media Streaming Server 3.5 run on AMD Athlon Dual Sock Quad Core?I just requested a Dell server to be added to our farm to run as a Media Server and to my surprise, while reading the requirements for FMS it states the following: 3.2GHz Intel® Pentium® 4 processor (dual Intel Xeon® or faster recommended)
I would like to ask if Adobe Flash Media Streaming Server (not Interactive) supports the following Stream.play (server-side streaming), but not necessarily server-side playlists which I know is a FMIS featureunsigned server-side asctionscripts (main.asc) The difference is in the price of course, one is $1000, the other is $5000, so if the two above are supported, I will buy FMSS
I evaluated the Flash Media Server 3.5 by running samples for .flv,f4v,.mpg,.avi video formats and the product looks excellent to work as a Video Streaming Server - Live Video, Recorded Video Viewing by Audiences.
Query : ELearning Course modules are designed and developed using Macromedia Flash and Action Scripting Language. The Output Formats of the LMS are .swf files. As Elearning courses - LMS offer/involves User Interaction (Viewing courses by Students, Giving Exams for obtaining certification etc). Can we also use the Flash Media Server 3.5 for integrating with LMS Site running in IIS 6.0/7.0 ?
Client : IE 6.0/7.0, Macromedia Flash Player 10.0.
I have installed Adobe Flash Media Server in Ubuntu. When I run the command sudo ./fmsmgr server start it says that Server: start command: Server service start not found. Exiting When I start adminserver in the same way, the message displayed is : Starting Adobe Flash Media Admin Server(check /var/log/messages) In the messages, the following is displayed:
The method used in FMS admin administration reference to access the admin api is like so: http:[url]....but isn't this unsafe ? i mean any one can see the password this way?
I want to put protection on the server Because anyone can broadcast I want to put security on the broadcast only Not to receive sound and picture When you use any Flash Media Ankodr when the connection request requests a user name and password either, which does not have a user name and password can not broadcast sound and picture
Is it possible to record .flv in an encrypted mode? I know RTMPE, but I mean an encrypted flv file, not only encrypted streaming. we want to be sure that the recorded messages will not be avaible for playing locally via a flvPlayer. (the application is running on a FMS service provider' server)
I have setup allowedhtmldomains & allowedswfdomains. is this safe enough? i just noticed a unusual entry to my server. log Accepted a connection from IP:X.205.45.212, referrer: [URL] the problem is all these url is not valid , site name is ok but there is no such directory /user/world_cup/player.swf so how was this connection accepted? is there a way to crack these security on FMS. What other things i can do to secure my live stream?
I understand that the Flash Interactiver Server has this feature called 'Adobe Media Player Tracking Service' which the free version dosen't have. Any idea what ' Adobe Media Player Tracking Service' is and what it does
I have Adobe Flash Media Server 3.01 installed on my server. I can record files via user's webcam and convert them to .flv with spesific compression sizes. But i want my users my users to upload an .avi, .mpeg / .mpg, .mov etc file via an http form and after upload finishes i want fms to convert file to flv.
It can be done with the ffmpeg tool free but i wonder if interactive server has a feature like this.
Security Sandbox violation Error #2123 (checkPolicyFile; sampleVideoAccess)The problem is not that I want to take an image of anything at all it is that I am exiting a view in Flash Builder 4 mobile application after disconnecting from the incoming stream but I get this error It looks like the slideview transition is taking a bitmap image of the "View" before leaving for an alternative "View". I use local

I am getting frustrated becouse I tried to get my Adobe Encore Projects directly uploaded to a 3rd party streaming server. Since this seems not to be possible, I am now looking for a good provider with adobe FMS.
Adobe I can find instructions and a list of needed for modifying Apache to work with HLS for Apple/IOS devices. However I cannot use .dll on Linux but I can possibly use the .so files .... so can you verify that FMS 4.5 HLS for Apple/IOS devices works on Linux by installing just the 3 .so files below? If it is in short why don't i need the .dll? I don't spend days trying to install FMS 4.5 in a way that is not documented or tested by you. Also is installing FMS 4.5 and HLS for Adobe/IOS devices possible on IIS? Where do i get instructions for IIS?
We are streaming live events encoding using H.264, so therefore we have to save the file as a .f4v. However, whenever I try to play the file, I keep getting a "playback failed" in Adobe Media Player. What could I be missing? Is there anything else I need to do in Flash Media Live Encoder?
I am thinking about making a web site that streams HD movies and videos that I have created myself. I was wonder could you use Adobe Flash Media Interactive Server 3.5 to do so I know i would have to buy a dedicated server and a fast one with a good load of bandwidth. The big question am asking is that can you base a website or content management system around the interactive server.
I bought Adobe Flash Media Interactive Server 3.5 License for unlimited connections while ago (11 months ago) (for $4,500), but closed my project few months ago (2) and I need money at the moment, thats why I am selling my license, I am not going to use it again, I am giving all the information that came with the license, and help for installing on LINUX Servers (if needed).url...
Two weeks ago I've installed Adobe Flash Media Server to my development machine to digg it a little. But today, when I enter a url like [URL] in my browser (not in ie 8, just in firefox and chrome) it redirects to [URL] and open a page like below: I uninstalled flash media server, but it is not a solution.
Is it possible to install Flash Media Server 3.5 on the same Windows machine where Adobe Connect Pro is installed? If so, how to do it?When I try to do it, it says there is already an istance of FMS running and it asks for uninstalling it.Of course there is not any FMS installed. I want both on the machine.I suspect Adobe Connect uses an engine of FMS to work properly.
The only options in my AWS Mananagement Council are to reboot and termiante. If I understand this correctly, if I terminate, I lose all my setup instructions and would have to pay the $5 one-time fee once I restart. Is this correct? How can I setup my instance so I can stop it? I've looked at the support page and it says that I need to have my instance backed up with EBS rather than S3. These instructions are not too clear, because I thought a 8gb EBS is included when you initialize FMS. Here is the support page:[URL]..
I've placed some of my videos flv and f4v in the vod/media and webroot/vod folders with sample files provided. My files were checked with flvcheck and passed. When I load the embed code into a Dreamweaver HTML file and save the page to the webroot folder as instructed, the provided sample files play in my Firefox browser. However, when I edit the code to insert my files in strict accordance with the instructions concerning codecID and extension, I get the following message on the Browser "We are unable to connect to the content you've requested." My videos are less than 30 minutes in length and were encoded H.264 using Adobe Media Encoder and as I said passed the flvcheck.
We are about to buy a Adobe Flash Media Streaming Server 3.5 and we don't know if it's not recommended to install the software in a vmware environment.
I am trying to build a DVR Cast app using DVRCast 1.2 provided by Adobe. The problem I am facing right now is that I am finding difficult to record multiple streams at the same time so that I can make dynamic stream to work correctly. Even though Adobe has provided DVRControllerSynch, it does not mention anything how the streams are recorded.
Has anyone attempted to implement a captivate video into Flash Media Server (specifically an aggregated Captivate video in Flash Streaming Server).if this works, or if you have any other information.
