PHP :: How To Store List Of Data (like Array) In MySQL Cell

Basically each row in my table is a different food. I have columns for basic things like description. But, I have a "ingredients" array, and "how much" array, in an array. Basically on my end I can go ingredientsArray[0] howMuch[0] to display the ingredient and how much of it. So, Id like to save both of these arrays in a cell for the row of the food. I heard I could serialize the array, and save it. But I need it to be searchable. (Also, there is no set limit to how many ingredients. So I cant like have a column for each thats why I am going the array route). I'm doing my programming in AS3, and usng AMFPHP to connect to Mysql.

I have a bunch of objects that i add to an array.Each of these objects know of their position in the array.Each of these objects can remove themselves from the array with the slice command.example would be great, was thinking something along the lines of hashtable, but couldent find one in the docs.Speed is of importance. The objects are entities in a game im making, so looping through the entire array to find themselves is not an option.

I'm having a problem with for loops and the arrays that were created while those loops. I mostly get the data from an XML and store it during the for loop into an array, am I obligated to use the array imediatley? cause if I want to use some of it, it's all dissapeared.I used this for loop in an onLoad function because I'm used to load the XML data like this...

I have No problems inserting data from flash to PHP into MySQL,it's sendind them back properlly.All I'd like to see happen is for one row of data to be inserted into a dynamic text field. here's what i've got if i access this php file, it prints out a vertical list from
a single MySQL row,I was happy.
$query = "select row from table";
$result = mysql_query($query, $db);
while($row = mysql_fetch_row($result))[code]...
and Instead of the vertical list (which i would love to see)i get an unparsed data array.

I have a highscore system in that I have small doubt like I want to store the user session in the mysql table and also the guest session. Like if the user is registered user then that session should be stored in the mysql db. Else if the user is not registered i.e guest user then also I need to store with the guest account for my high score system for a flash games site.

So, pretty much I have made a little flash app for a project at uni, and I have a tree which these little bat creates land onI have drawn the tree as a MC, and then use a hitTestPoint function to check wether the centre point of each bat character is touching the tree. If so land... blah blah pretty simple.Except I need to create a function that actually randomly spawns these characters on the tree. The problem with the code below is that TextFormt does not support wordWrap which is upported by TextField(which, unfortunately has no effect on a List component).

I got a music portfolio web site running PHP, MySQL and Flash. There's a page showing all the artists my client worked for and when you click on a song title, this title is passed as a variable to a PHP page then to a Flash page. The Flash page contains an actionscript music player which then looks for the right audio file in the database and plays the song. Everything works great except for the dynamic text field which displays the song title. If the song title contains an apostrophe or a single quote, the Flash dynamic text field then shows the apostrophe.[code]

I want to make a script that will list online users when they enter a page.Simple way is record newly entered users into MySQL and list them for example every second.But I don't think it's a good idea with tons of users like in a facebook app come in and out of the page.There would be a way with Flash and PHP sockets but I really don't want to use Flash either.So is there any option left?

I have a datagrid in my Flash app whose data keeps updating quite frequently.On every update, I need to change the cell color of only those cells whose data has changed.That too, if the updated value is less than the older value then the cell color should change to RED else, GREEN.I have tried using labelFunction, cellrenderer, etc. But to no avail.By no means, I am able to access the present data in the cells to compare it with the new data.

I've been working with the flash data grid component, and I want to update just one cell in the data grid without updating the entire dataset. I haven't found anyway to do this and the object inheritance makes it really difficult to track down properties of specific child elements. Here's a snippet i use to get data from a specific data cell:

What's the best way to do this? It's NOT on a click event or interactive event.
