Professional :: Centering Logo And Slogan In Middle Of Page Layout

I recently purchased a flash template and I have successfully replaced the information and logo with what I want, but my only issue is trying to center the logo and the slogan in the middle of the page layout. I've looked through the original flash files that came with it and tried everything I could think of. I am not having any success. I just need to center the logo and I am not getting it. How should vector artwork be drawn in Freehand so that white details sitting over a blue base are still readable when alpha of e.g. 50% is applied in Flash 8 ? In Freehand 9 I created a logo. Logo has an rgb mix blue base rectangle and rgb white drawn shapes on top. I also drew over the text and gave it the rgb blue as a fill with line none. That sits on top of one of the white shapes.

I have an animated logo swf file that loads and runs once on the home page every time the page loads. The logo has been updated to appear in three different colour schemes. I want one scheme to load and when the page is refreshed or revisited, one of the other colour schemes to load in its place. They can appear in any random order, just a different one to the one that played before reloading.Can someone point me to an answer or tell me how to do it? I have found a way in JavaScript but this only works on plain images, not swf files.

I am working on an intro to our website that has dog footprints go across the page. As they go across the center, they reveal the logo. My problem is each step reveals the logo ok, but when the next one appears the previous footprint disappears. Once the footprint mask reveals the logo, how do I get it to stay while the other footprints reveal the rest of the logo?

I'm trying to figure out how to get my logo to stay at the bottom right of the page all the time. I used Stage.align and onResize but the problem is that my logo ony aligns when you go to resize the window, and it "jumps" into place. I want it to pop up in the bottom right and then stay there, regardless of the window size. You can view it at This is my code:

1. I have an .swf framework file that imports two other .swf files into itself to be viewed. The actionscript to import the other .swf files is as below. This works in firefox 3.0.5, but not in any other newer or older version of firefox, even if they have the latest, and same flashplayer 10 versions installed. It doesn't work in explorer either but in opera it works. I't doesn't matter if I use mac or PC. Why ? Is there something wrong with my actionscript ? For now the page with the imported .swfs just shows up empty.

I've used a html template that use div tags to center content both horizontaly and verticaly in any browser.The centering works fine, but when I put in the code for embedding my framework .swf, it starts chewing alot before the .swf shows up. It's like something slows down the whole process.Sometimes I have to reload the page to make it show. Check out the website to see whats wrong. If I find the the stage width and the stage height and divide each one by 2 then I know where the middle of my stage is. However, how can I use that point to be the middle of the image that I display on the pop up?

I am trying to re-use a page layout multiple times in one site, but importing different parts of an external text file for each use. The site has various different page layout designs, which can easily be swapped around and still display the correct content. I'm using this code to import the text:

Basically the majority of my content is flash based. I designed it using Flash Builder (Flex) and Its in a liquid layout, (everything is in percents) and if im JUST embedding the flash content it scales to the page fine, and i have the flash content set to have a padding of 50 px.
I put a header div in fine with no problems, but I have 2 problems, the first being the footer div seems to cover up the buttom of the flash content in IE, but it looks just fine in chrome. How can I solve this? I'm using the stock embed code that Flex provides, I tried to edit the css style for the div which I think is #flashContent and give it a min width and min height but it didnt seem to work, actually anything I did to #flashContent didn't seem to do anything, maybe its not the div i need to be adding that attribute to...
And my other problem is I dont even know where to start when it comes to placing a div thats 280width by 600height colum to the right side of the flash content. If i could specify a size for the flash content, and the float it left, and float the colum right, and clear it with the container div id be just fine....But remember the flash content is set to 100% Scale (well techically 100%x80% because it looked better that way). how I can start to deal with creating a more complex scaleable flash layouts that includes other divs? ALL WELL MAINTAINING IE SUPPORT? IE is ruining my life.

I've been working for a week on a very important task and learning (with Moock's book beside me) as I go. I'm trying to build a menu layout that functions a lot like an iGoogle page. Is this just a matter of a lack of syntax knowledge on my part or is this not possible? I can't find any examples of anything even close. I'm not sure which answer I'd prefer, but I'll take any insight that someone with more knowlege than me could offer

I am making a Flash website and I need to know how to make my Menu on left and Logo on right stay on left and right as the screen size is changed. I have a video which my client wants me to cut in pieces. I see that I can set up starting and ending points in Media Encoder, i.e. cut out the part from beginning and end. Is there an option to cut out parts in the middle?
I am familiar with After Effects but my client doesn't want to invest in this program. Are there any smaller/cheaper programs which allow more video editing that AME if AME indeed can not do it?

I recently made a flash file with a fps of 24 with a motion tweened oobject which moves from below and stops when it's already on the upper part. the only code i added is the stop(); on the last frame. When I Shift+Enter it, the motion tween works flawlessly. The problem is, when I Ctrl+Enter it, the motion tweened object suddenly pauses three times in the middle part.
All images included have "Allow Smoothing" checked.

i've created a rotating banner with images and wanted to increase the stage size so i can put an opaque larger image in the background and have the other images rotate on top of it. when i made the stage larger i'm having difficulty selecting the other photos so i can center them back on the on the stage. i was able to get the first image centered but i only see the outline of the other images.

Working on the following site [URL] On the "What we Do" page (one click to the right) each company logo is linked using the Action Script 2 below. Only the "Zipfizz" button works though. The rest of the buttons only work very rarely. I made a stock button from a white box then turned the opacity to 0. Put one over every logo with the proper dimensions and gave them the right instance names. If you click the logo repeatedly in different areas the link will sometimes work. Anyone have an idea what's going on? I not very familiar with AS2, only AS3 but the site was built by another designer awhile ago.

This is giving me such a headache.I have a movie clip and it has a centered registration point but the transformation point is in the top left corner. I want both to be in the center of the MC. I want a little circle with cross-hairs in t in the middle of my MC, if at all possible without moving my MC. But I cannot get that damn cross-hair to budge from the top left corner! When I go into the info window and change the X-Y values of the transformation point, the whole MC just moves to a new position. The infuriating things is, I've done it before but I just can't seem to work out what I did. Please don't tell me to drag the registration point in free transform mode. I can do that, but I cannot drag the transformation point in the same way.

horizontally center my flash movie in browser windows. Worked swimmingly, but now realize there is no scroll functionality. I did find another code sample that allows for scrolling, but I could not make it work. Can anyone take a look at the following code and tell me what I need to do, or simply revise the code for scrolling? (Caveat: I'm a designer, not a developer, so I know nothing about HTML.
