I have created a blog header and want to upload on my blog. I saved as an animated gif, but it looks awful. The swf file is what I would like to use or add as code to blogger html.

I've just been given some files by a client that are coded in AS2/Flash 7. I need to embed them in an AS3/Flash 10 application for a new site. Does anyone know if this is possible? I've asked around the office and people are shaking their heads but no-one is quite sure.

I know the way to add flv file by creating FLVPlayback component. But in this case we always need to depend on the source path of corresponding file. I am not able to find any kind of solution for this. As second way I have imported flv file to the library and created the instance of this but there is some problem with the synchronization of audio with video.Also in this case I am not able to handle this flv in as3 as programmatically

View 2 RepliesWe have embedded a FLASH with tags <object> and <embed> in a JSP page , running in a web application on a Application Server (Weblogic Server).The flash works fine.We note that, as expected, the code inside <object> is replaced at runtime. (when we access to HTML source code we can view an HTML code differente from <object> and <embed> tags).
But we also tried to call the web page through wget (from command line) and we saw that the HTML source code that we receive is ALREADY replaced.When and from who the <object> <embed> code is replaced ?From javascript (runned by browser) or before ?
I can use flash ok to build stuff, but I usually just build a flash presentation with movieclips and buttons all contained in the one file. I have never had to put my creations onto cd-rom before. So now I am looking at a CD-rom and seeing how someone else has done it and I see that all the .swf files are separated, as will as sound and video. I thought the only reason to do this would be to be able to access and change for example and mp3. without having to open the flash file, but I am thinking there are other reasons?
View 3 RepliesI'm trying to get a .swf (a game, with three total .swf files: main, title, game) onto my site and am having a problem. I understand how to actually do it and make it run (publish as HTML, copy/paste code in Dreamweaver, etc..), but my problem is having multiples .swf files and them not loading. When I embed code for one of the files, the page will play that .swf file and won't load the next .swf file (Main just contains a loader that loads title, Title will load the game .swf when prompted, Game will run). If I just 2x click the .swf files in my folder it will work, as will an .exe, but can I make it so each .swf file will play in HTML?
View 12 RepliesI have recently launched a site for a client which includes an interactive flash element on the home page but it takes a long time to load (10-30seconds). I have followed advice from others about keeping image small and link movies rather than embed but still slow, the swf file is about 7.9mb which i thought was ok for the size of flash file. Does anyway else know where I have gone wrong whether it be the embedding or some other area.

But there is no change in the appearance of the Text whatsoever.. I need the text to be crisp and clear.Just like the way it looks when we embed the fonts using the Embed... Button in the Flash IDE.

If not I know theres is the load feature where I can load text from a text file. With the html text box editing, Can i link that to the text file?. As in when you edit the text box with html could i have the textbox's instance name equal to the text file? With this my issue is with the <a href> in one textbox, I would like when i click those it open another text file in a different text box.
Clarification: I have two text boxes in my flash file.One has current products. And the other is the description of the product they select. I would like a way to edit and change the products in the first text box without having to keep using the FLA file. Which is why i am using this code

The contents of myText.txt are <a href=(not sure what to put here)> Product 1 </a> But all that does is put it in the text output section in flash.It does not show it in flash. I need help getting it to show up in a text box.That is the first part But the main problem is im not sure how to code the a href correctly so that when i click it, another text file opens in the second text box.So that when a user clicks on a product ,like "Product 1" It opens the correct description text file in the second text box.
I've been experimenting with learning game coding and have encountered an issue I'm curious about...
At the moment I have 3 GIFs and 1 sound effect being used, with more to come. Now, is it more recommended to embed these files, which I'm been doing, or is it better to load them externally? To be honest, I really hate the idea of having to load them and would much prefer to embed them directly in to my project. What is the general consensus as to which technique is better?
I have a small problem when embedding an swf file in a flash cs4 project (adobe), when run, the embedded video loops continuously. If you play the swf file outside adobe flash, it doesn't loop.Any one know how i can stop the embedded file from looping?

Or do I have to create a separate external as for it, and somehow call it into the g1 as?[code]
