Jul 29, 2010I'm wanting to create a moving object that will be exported into a tv commercial. Object has already been created in Adobe Illustrator, and now will be dropped into flash for adding movement. The destination commercial will be created in Sony Vegas, with the settings of (Australian) PAL television (25 fps, 576x720 pixels, lower field first).Thus keeping it simple, I want to set Adobe flash with the same output format, meaning that the canvas will have to be 576x720 pixels at 25 fps.� So far this seems to have worked okay.Now I'm wanting to get rid of the canvas colour, just like I have here in this photoshop screen shot.

Judging by the colour palette in Flash Professional, it looks like it can't be done.� I've checked "transparent palette" through yahoo and google, and had no results.� The adobe documentation only details how to remove a background in Photoshop.

Mar 8, 2010I am colorblind.I need to change either the color of the background or the color of the text on the layers section on the Timeline.I simply cannot read/see what is currently showing.It is a very light blue background with white text and white dots for seeing, locking, or setting the outline color.I need to either change the text color and dots to black so I can see them, or try to change the background color to a dark blue so I can read the white text.Changing the text color would really be my preference. Adobe hasn't been very concerned about colorblindness when developing these products. I can barely make out all the light grey/grey/dark grey/grey stuff.

Feb 11, 2010I've created a banner ad (attached) for my company and intended to have it appear as a rectangle with rounded edges (transparent corners). It seems like I need to create a transparent border or mask to have my animated banner appear in this way.

Can I add a mask or a border to the whole thing just to make the rounded corners transparent and see the background colour of the site I'm putting it on?

Note: the corners are currently white. I can't change the colour to match the site background as 1. the banner will be shown in different places, and 2. the background is a gradient.

I have made 4 of these very short looping .swf files.Is it possible, by adding one simple button on the screen, for the user click and the next .swf background starts playing? So basically this button acts a 'next' button, and each times it's clicked the next .swf starts to play.

example: I am at my home pag, and the background picture is a tree. you click on my about button, and the background fades into a picture of a book. you click on my contact button and the picture fades to a house. then you click back on the home button and the tree fades back in. If you are at home and you click on the home button the picture should fade into the same picture etc.how to do this without creating each one of the fade transitions manually.

i want to have a picture of the sun rising between the time 6am to 11 am
then from 12pm - 5 pm a pic of the ocean showing
from 6 pm - 10 pm- a pic of the sun setting...
then from 11pm- 5am a picture of the northern lights..
ohh yeah i have the time being called in a # from 1-24, = var = hour
idk if u can write if statments with a range of numbers . ex. if (hour > "range of time/#'s") ....
or have a shape in the backround and have it change as the time changes??

ActionScript 2.0 :: Fullscreen Background - Maintaining Picture Scale?
Mar 6, 2007I pretty much got it working. The only problem I'm having is that it's only full screen based off of the width. I want the picture to maintain it's scale, so I need it to fill the height if necessary and cut the sides off of the picture. You can see what I mean by clicking [URl]. Resize the browser so it's a lot taller than it is wide and you'll see what I mean. I want it to fit both height and width no matter which is taller. I've played around with it all morning and nothing.

I started with 1936x1288 but when I resize the stage to fullscreen the bottom of the image gets cut off.

Oct 25, 2009I am attempting to change the background of a pre-developed slide show a client sent over. In the attachment the original background is gray (called "back"). I want to change it to the background called "bluebg". It works (somewhat) when I import it to the same layer that the gray background is on and convert it to a movie clip, but it covers up the navigational buttons on the top right side of the movie. It appears that these pieces are a part of the background and not on their own layer, but they are clearly flash elements required to make the show work properly, so I am unable to replace the background with the blue and keep those navigational items. Can someone take a look and tell me what I could be doing wrong? Or better yet what I can do to achieve the feat of apply the new blue background?
