I also, already have the map located on their location with an pin over it, but I was trying to figure out how to make the map pull the information that pops up when you click that pin. View 1 RepliesI creating a flash app that loads a RSS of a plublic map with a custom route path and draws lines from the coordinates on a Away3D Sphere.It works preety well when I'm testing locally, but when I publish online, the app can't load the RSS. I think Google Maps disable access from other domains.Does anyone knows another way to access this map RSS directly from google? Now to fix this, I'm hosting the RSS.

Lets say i have a button on frame 1. And if you press it normal, you ll get to frame 2. But then if you click it on another way, you ll get to frame 3. How do i do that easy?! With another way i mean like shift click or ctrl click or is it an easier way?

As I am aware all you have to do is go to the button, actions > code snippets > timeline navigation > click to go to frame & play, and then type in the frame number in your code of which frame you want it to go to. I did all of this and it does nothing.

View 2 RepliesI was wondering how MMO's such as AQworlds URL... handle maps on the stage.In my game there would be one static map per screen. The background does not move, only the player. The player can move on to the next screen by walking over arrows on the map.How would I go about storing the maps? Is it good practice to just keep each map screen as a separate object in Flash and just delete the map and make create a new map from the library when the player moves around? Should I load the maps externally? Or should I have one map object and keep each stage on a separate frame and just toggle between frames?I am not looking for code but concepts and ideas. i use an action for preloading a movieclip on my website and it works the first time it downloads, but when you click on the gallery again, it doesnt load, but just shows the start of the preloader.The site:[link removed at poster's request]You can see the problem if you click on "Talk Show Hosts", wait untill it loads, click clients and then back to "Talk Show Hosts".Now it doesnt load, and its the same with the other galleries.The site works by loading an external swf file with the UILoader, the swf that is loaded is a ScrollPane that loads a Movieclip.

The company i am working for are designing an interactive flash movie that requires the Right click Menu to be entirely disable, or else the right click option to be disabled. The best that we can achieve at present is to limit the context menu to "About..." and "Settings".
Is there anyway of disabling the right click function in flash so we can secure our movie?
Our problem arises from the User being able to click on the "About..." menu item and launching a browser. We require that the user is not allowed to access this. We have tried to change the Default Browser in Windows to a custom browser, but to no joy.
Is there anyway for us to disable the Flash Menu, or, Disable the Right click function completely or, re-route the About Menu item to a default browser so we can prohibit the user from access the default webpage?
How can I edit sound from a timeline if I don't have the original sound file? When I right-click my sound in the library, I can't open it in any sound editor program. What do I do?

I am using the google maps API with regular key (not premier).When connecting to my server with http, everything works fine, but when connecting with https i receive the following instead of map: initialization failed please check the API key swf location, version and network availability.Is that because it is not premier key? can I force the google maps API to use http instead of https so that I will receive the maps?
