Professional :: Buttons.click On Top Of Another Button?

I have a flash game where a mallot will move with the mouse and when clicked, activate a button on the mallot using "onRelease". When the button on the mallet is clicked it doesn't activate the "onRelease" of the button under the mallet's current position.
I am wanting to create a animation illustrated below, The large button found called big button will trigger nine other buttons and start orbiting the big button clockwise / anti clockwise and click again then it stops. Wanting to know if this is possible in action script??
I have a button on the stage which works fine and performs various actions. I have a movie clip on the stage, that contains 10 different buttons which when you click advances you to the next button and does different things and so on and so on. Again independantly this movie clip with buttons works fine.
What I want to do however is this. I want to click on the main button on the stage, have that 'click' replicated to the other button within the movieclip so I can action both with a single clip.
I have a weird thing going on with my skins. I'm hoping to fix it by doing a workaround that involves triggering the click of a sparks buttonbar button, but I'm not exactly sure how to do that.
I have created a button with an instance name of 'ClickMe' and also five buttons each with thier own instance name (B1-B5). I want to change their opacity to zero onclick preferably as a tween from where they are now in opacity (100%) to the zero. I need some assistance with this. They are set up to disappear when clicked.on (release) {this._visible = false;}The problem I am facing is that I want the movie clips to be clicked in a certain order, so mc1 has to be clicked (and disappear) before mc2 can be active and click-able. That way the user has to click on them in order for them to disappear.

Working on the following site [URL] On the "What we Do" page (one click to the right) each company logo is linked using the Action Script 2 below. Only the "Zipfizz" button works though. The rest of the buttons only work very rarely. I made a stock button from a white box then turned the opacity to 0. Put one over every logo with the proper dimensions and gave them the right instance names. If you click the logo repeatedly in different areas the link will sometimes work. Anyone have an idea what's going on? I not very familiar with AS2, only AS3 but the site was built by another designer awhile ago.
I am loading swfs into a movie clip. However, the contact button is not a loaded swf any longer. It's in the main flash page. This is what I want to do. All the buttons load the external swfs except when I click on the contact button that is in the main flash page. I need to get the other buttons to load after I click the contact flash button. Below is the code for the contact button and the one under for one of the other buttons.
I am not sure how to explain it but,.I would like to have a swf that has a button. When you click it, It would load a differnt swf.that would alow me to create a menu swf that when a user click a menu topic it would reload a differnt swf.
Today, I put a video into my website, the only problem is that I'd like to give it a close button (that would close the player, or make it invisible). How could I do that?
I have a Start button on the title screen. I want the music to stop when you click on the start button. Also, I want for another music to start when you go to the next part of the animation and to stop when you click on another button.

I am trying to close on as I am attempting to get this incorporated into my website. It came with the recommendation to try the CS5 today to see if this will meet the requirement at the moment.There is a desire to take custom SWF files (I think there is something called Swish files too?) from various sponsors for advertisement purposes and place them on my website.The implementation was straight-forward to make them work through the webserver.I tried a custom example of making a button that upon mouse click would open up a new webpage in CS5 which did work for me.My problem is since the SWF files are finalized, there is no way to put URL information into those files.After doing a lot of searching around today, it appears that the best way to redirect a user upon click of a video is to:
1) Open up a new Flash 2) Import the SWF video file into the project 3) Create a Invisible Button over top the SWF video so when the user clicks, they are redirected to a specific URL.
But for some reason, when I tried to overlay it with a sample SWF file I imported, there was all this flickering going on to where both were made transparent to one another on the screen not to mention the video wasn't even visible at all.My hope was that the SWF video could be seen clearly while the button remained invisbile to handle the click on the video.Is there someone on the forum that is able to guide me fairly quickly with a fast-path procedure so that I can try this?
i dublicate my movieclip named mc2. (mc2 in mc1 moviclip). And my scrollpane 's contentpath is mc1. When i do that, it works. but if i make scrolldrag = true, my button in my movieclip doesnt work. How can i use scrolldrag and button click in scrollpane content ??
I want to create a button which in a press state shows an image and removes it when its unpressed.Now the problem im facing is whenever i click the button the image appears but it soon dissapears as i lose the click.
In my following code "Btn.onRelease" doesn't work after "LoadImg()" was call, How can I solve this, because I want to detect a click on Btn once the new picture was loaded.

I am trying to figure out how I can have my buttons keep a color after it has been clicked or pressed.This is important since I need to make the viewer understand what answer was correct.I have set the down state but I need my button to keep that down state color.
Lets say i have a button on frame 1. And if you press it normal, you ll get to frame 2. But then if you click it on another way, you ll get to frame 3. How do i do that easy?! With another way i mean like shift click or ctrl click or is it an easier way?
I have created buttons with this Actionscript. They load in the external swf's fine, but when I click on them again they load them in again, and again, and again... What do I need to write in the code so it loads in fresh everytime you click on the button? (or in other words, cleans up the load in page before it loads in new files).
With the aid of Dreamweaver CS4 I've manged to create a temp 'under construction website'. This website has a fullscreen .swf looping in the background.
I have made 4 of these very short looping .swf files.Is it possible, by adding one simple button on the screen, for the user click and the next .swf background starts playing? So basically this button acts a 'next' button, and each times it's clicked the next .swf starts to play.

I need a simple image gallery to load when you click a button. I've tried shadowbox but have had absolutely zero luck. I'm not sure how to load it from a flash file and I know there is work that has to be done outside of flash like in the root folder. All I need is for a simple image gallery, nothing fancy, to open when I hit a button. how to use shadowbox in lamens terms or knows how to easily script a gallery that would be amazing.
I have a files that is loading and parsing a huge amount of data from a csv file and creating and plotting a graph using the data. All is well if I have the file loaded on the first frame of the movie. But if I pass in the URL by entering the file name in a text input field and clicking a button. The X and Y axis values disappear as do intermittent notes placed above the bar graph. I still see the x and y axis and it's hash marks and the bar graph (shapes) but all of the text is gone.
I am creating a navigation bar in Flash (which will then be used in Dreamweaver). When you mouse over each topic in menu (ex. Products), i want it play a movie clip (so it shoots out a sub-menu underneath). so far so good, but the only thing is, the sub-menu won't stay open in order for me to click on buttons in it. For each button, I assigned it the Behavior to go to a url. Also, I tested the buttons within the mc and they don't seem to direct me to url. do you think maybe it's because it's nested within the movie clip?? Is there an easier way to go about this?
