Professional :: Create A "replay" Button On The Last Frame Of Movie?

I want to create a "replay" button on the last frame of my movie but it's not working.
Here's what I did.
1. I created a layer named "Actions" and in my last frame (frame 900) I created a "Stop" action.
2. I then created a button and saved it to my Library.
3. I then created a new layer named "Replay Btn" and created a keyframe in the last frame of the movie (frame 900). I then dragged the button onto the stage so it was in the last keyframe (frame 900) and made it into a button Symbol.
4. In the Properties Inspector I then typed in an "instance" name of "replay".
5. Then in the layer named "Replay Btn" I selected the last frame of my movie (frame 900) and added a keyframe in the same layer as my button. I then opened the "Actions" panel and entered this code.

6. I then did a "Publish Preview" of the movie and got this error:
"Warning 1090: Migration Issue: The onRelease event handler is not triggered automatically by Flash Player at run time in Actionscript 3.0. You must first register this handler for the event using addEventListener ('click', callback_handler) In Actionscript 3.0, code cannot be placed directly on objects. select a frame or use the code snippets panel to apply code to the current selection on stage."
I understand that I must select the layer and "right-click" to add an action instead of selecting the object on the stage, but I guess I'm just not sure how to get the "Replay" button to work in CS5. I've watched a couple of tutorials but they weren't done very well and were really hard to understand. I just want to create a button to replay the movie.
I'm making a preloader and i want to make it so when the animation ends and goes back to frame one, the play button will be replaced by a replay button. i know i could just put it at the very end of the animation but i want to make this preloader into a template for everything else i do so i want to be able to just make an animation and not have to worry about manually putting the replay button in.[code]...
1. "skip intro" is supposed to make the movie skip to frame 505 (this is not a skip to the homepage button)
2. "replay intro" is supposed to replay the intro from frame 1
I thought this should be easy enough even for someone like me without any action scripting experience whatsoever but, alas, I got stuck (after spending some 5 hours scouring tutorials and websites).
I have an AS2 project with two scenes, Scene 1 is has a pre-loader and Scene 2 has an embedded .flv animation from after effects with some other basic tweened shape layers and masks. I have a bit of a problem.. I am loading an external Movie via FLVPlayback, after the movie has played - the REPLAY button shows up. Everything works except the REPLAY button shows up for a couple of seconds before the movie starts playing. I'm thinking that it's because of my 'If' statement, which checks if the movie is PLAYING to show(or hide) the replay button.I'm super new to AS..how I can change the 'if' statement to look weather the movie is loading or playing.! A while ago, I created a replacement shell to run as a front end for a cybercafe. It was nothing fancy; just a flash movie that had button links to IE and a few trusted applications.
I'm trying to develop it further now and am wondering two things:
1. Is it possible to send an application to a frame within a movie? For example, have a static movie at the top with links, then when a button is pressed, the menu remains but the application opens below without overlapping. I know I can use HTML and frames but really want to keep it all in one movie/swf.
2. Is it possible to build on the above and have some sort of application lister that will allow you to switch between the two applications you have running. For example, a user may open IE, then open Word. Word has now replaced IE and I want the user to have a simple click button to go back to an existing window rather than open another instance from the menu.
Flash CS4/Actionscript 3 I am trying to create a section for a site where mousing over a button will play a certain frame of a movie clip, which is sitting next to the button. Mousing over different buttons will play (and stop) different frames in the movie clip.
I'm trying to create an animated movie clip button in AS2 using CS5. The button should fade in/out as the mouse moves over and away from the button.Lets say my frame rate is 30 FPS. When I insert a motion tween on frame 1, the timeline is automatically extended by 30 frames. I then select frame 30, select the button and change the alpha value to 30%. When I drag the head marker back and forth, the button fades in and out smoothly exactly as I wanted.But I want to create a motion tween between frame 1 and 10. So I select frame 10, insert a keyframe, select frame 5 and insert a motion tween. Then I select frame 10, select the button and change the alpha value to 30% like before. When I drag the head marker, there is no fade in/out. When the head marker is exactly over frame 10, the button is faded, but when it is on any frame between 1 and 9, it is normal.
I need to create a script that will jump to a certain frame in the scene when a movie cilp reaches its last frame. Putting a goto... within the MC itself doesn't work. I assume that I need to create a listener of some sort....I haven't been able to find what I need in any documentation (and I'm even been looking through AS dictionaries going back to Flash 4).
I am pretty new to actionscripting. I have this banner ad I have created using tweeens and a delay. I need to make it so that the banner add restarts after the lastt delay. Since the movie clip is in one frame I can't use gotoAndPlay.

Frame 1 has an flv that it plays once and stops, here's the actions I have on that frame:stop();stopAllSounds();What would I add to make the flv loop or replay when it finishes? (I have buttons and more flv's on other frames, so I want to have this stop on frame 1 unless someone clicks a button to go to another frame.)
Does anyone know how the replay button on most web banners we see now days on the internet are created?
I'm doing a web banner for school using actionscript 3.0, I just don't know how to make a replay button work using actionscript 3.0 to be able to replay the whole animation again.
I have a character, And in its movieclip I`ve got 3 frames (first has an idle pose, second a walking pose and third a running pose), each with a movieclip with an action in it.Well, what I wanted is that when I am walking with this character, and press the SHIFT key he runs.And I`ve got the following code

But when I click the shift button, he shows the first frame static of the movie clip in frame 3 (running frame).

I have a opening movieclip that starts playing for my background and then I have two buttons that come up on moues over event, that if clicked on start one of my two longer Movie Clips that I have as progressive download through a flvplayer on Key frame 2 & 3. I have all that working but I want it to go back to the start or keyframe 1 when the clip is done playing so I can use the same opening menu to click on the second movie clip can some one give me any tips on how to get to go back to the start when the movie is done.

I have created a racing game and over all i got 3 frames and about 10 main layers.. i have tried so many scripts now and they're not working .The game begins on frame 2 while the main menu is on frame 1.Not sure if it matters but i have the menu copied on all the frame 1's of all the layers...
I have a .FLV video that I have loaded via FLV playback container (AS3). At the end of the video. I then have a replay button, that when clicked would like to either fade or dissapear and play the video again.
I am new to using flash and am working on small flash movie for a class assignment. I had to add a replay button at the end of my movie which I did according to my text and other tutorials I have read unfortunately my replay button is not working. Just realized I cannot upload my file as it is too large, can email them my file.
I made a flash movie and all i need to do is make a replay button, but i have no idea how. i am using cs5. my movies goes through multiple scenes so at the last scene i want them to click on the reply button to go to the 1st scene again. however, i have no idea where my actions layer and labels layer go or what action to put into my button. i looked around, but every video i find, they seem to only be working in one scene and within one layer too.
I have an FLVPlayer which plays a video and after the video is done playing, the REPLAY button shows up. Upon clicking the REPLAY button the movie starts over.. Everything works well, except, the REPLAY button only works once.. meaning, once the movie played once and REPLAY button is cilcked to play it again, after the movie is done playing for the 2nd time - the button doesn't appear..
