i have a main MC( with 4 buttons on it) on the stage and when i click on a button it animates 2 blocks that have been created at runtime and goes from right to left. What i want is when i click on another menu button, the boolean changes and i must be able the rewind the animation and do another but it does not work.I must click twice, once it rewind and the 2nd one it shows the animation..

Professional :: Editing A Shape Tween Nested In A Motion Tween In CS4?

I am facing a problem in one of my animation with flash CS4 - I have nested a Shape Tween in a Motion tween to get more control over the easers and effects, unfortunately I am not able to view on the timeline of my Motion Tween the action of the Shape tween nested inside.
 
It only show the first shape of the Shape Tween during the entire Motion Tween and that is really a problem for me because I need to see the final frame result of that Shape tween to be able to position it in a precise way on my scene according to other instances.

I'm making a "master movie" for an assignment and I'm stuck right now. What I've got is an Intro page that will serve at the Parent.swf to load 4 other child swf's upon a mouse click. The problem is I have a theater stage where I tweened an animation to make it appear the curtain on the stage is going up but once it reaches it maximum height....the tween abruptly stops. I want it to HOLD there until a user clicks a button.

Professional :: Playing Scenes In Test Movie Animations Stop Playing?

I am using AS2 in CS5.5.I am creating a project for a class that introduced me to adobe flash.  The issue is I have gotten to a certain point about 15 scenes.  During say the 15th scene scrolling through the timeline animations works fine, playing it on test scene works fine.  When I go to play it on test movie it stops at a certain point.  At first I thought it might have been a misplaced stop action but there is none to be found.  The weird part is every other scene I create after that continues to freeze as well, the images are there, but the animations won't play.  All my previous animations play before those with the issue, it's justThese new ones won't play for some reason in test movie, but work completely fine in test scene and the timeline.

I have the following tween which moves a movieclip on my movie to the right.However, i have put this code on its own layer, and the movieclip i want to move jumps to the first position which i have specified in the tween, but it doesnt move through the tween to the end position.

I've come to the end of my rope at this point in my AS learning, and was seeking some opinions on how to achieve this.

I am attempting to play a motion tween animation which I have applied to a movieclip that exists in the main timeline.

Coding it like this does not result in errors, but instead of playing the motion tween that I have set up, each MC plays the MC animation instead of the tween animation in the main timeline.

Professional :: Stop A Sound From Playing If It Is Playing Already

ok so i have a button that plays an animation for fire when held down. and when realsed goes to and stops and frame one. when it reaches the end of the time line it goes to and plays at frame 10 and goes back to the end of the timeline. I have a sound for the fire animation that plays for the effect. The problem is the sound keeps going untill its over even if the button isnt held down. and when the playhead reaches the end of the timeline it goes to and plays and frame 10 and it replays the sound. if i hold it down it will just keep playing the sound over and over from start to finish. what i want it to do it when i hold the button down i want it to play the sound and when released it stops the sound where ever it is at. I also dont the sound to play again if there is a sound already going to stop it from playing 20 sounds at one time it gets loud and you need asprin after about 5 seconds of that.

I will just try my best to explain my document, I have a movie with 4 different content pages on the same layer I have buttons to take you to each page when clicked. Once clicked the content holder has a scale tween that scales to 0 then to full size to create like a box in and out effect with the text content appearing using Alpha once the content box is full size. The box out effect happens after the content has been visible and I would like it to be the in-between effect between the different content pages. So I guess I am asking how to continue playing the rest of the tween then goto and play the next relevant page after the button click at the moment my code is navigating but missing the last part of the tween as I am not sure on how to get it to play to the end of the tween then carry on from that frame to the beginning of the next content page.

I am currently creating a menu system for a site, that when hovered over expands from a short strip into the larger menu containing buttons/graphics etc. To reduce the number of frames used within the site, i am trying to achieve this method using the tween class / onMotionFinished action as opposed to having a movieclip which plays through when hovered over. However if you move the mouse off before the "loading in" animation is complete, it begins the "reverse" animation and seperate titles both appear on top of eachother.

Basically i need to stop the tweens from playing, should the user hover away before they are complete, like a movieclip would "rewind" if you were using that well documented method. Below is the script, and I have attached the .fla for you to have a look at.

IDE :: Play Next FLV After Previous FLV Is Done Playing

I have an flv intro and the flv background for the main area for the buttons, etc. I want the flv intro to stop after it's done playing and move on to the FLV video in the main area.

All FLVs are embedded. I haven't used any components. All the FLV movieclips are in the timeline.

My previous attempt worked but I guess it's the wrong way since I can't call my pages from the buttons anymore.

I'm using the native Tween class and have a several tweens which make a button, when clicked, fly up into the corner of the screen. Then some time later yoyo() that tween to bring the button back to where it started.

The problem is that we have a replay button that replays from certain points on the timeline.

I want that if on the "screen" (not flash screens just our term for the range of frames that correspond to the timeline between those certain replay points) the user clicks replay that the button will always play the tween backward, i.e., flyout from the upper corner back to the "start" point.

Since there is no reverse() method or playInReverse() the only choice seems to be yoyo(). And one would think that fforward() followed by a yoyo() would make it always play backward. But I can't make it seem to work.

I used yoyo() which half does what I want but this loops, is there anything that will just reverse like yoyo but just stop at the beginning of the tween

I want to get a mc tween (redBus_mc)get pass trough the main mc (street_mc)when the user rolls over(busLine_mc) a certain place (acts as a button) on stage. I have not seen an answer for this sideeffect. I have a sprite (aka MovieClip sorta)n my stage. I am using a motion tween on the timline(keyframes, etc) that moves my sprite object from left to right. Iwould like to apply a glow filter to the object on the stage. I amusing GreenSock, TweenLiteFilter, although the same thing happensif I use the standard Flash glowfilter. If I apply the filter inactionscript, the tween ceases to play. If I apply thefilter usingthe timeline, and clicking on my sprite on the stage, the motiontween plays.Can I not mix and match effects in ActionScript and thetimeline? Professional :: Can't Play Pogo's New Daily Hot Shots Game But Other Flash Games Play Fine?

I play games on Pogo and have never had a problem with their Flash Games until released Daily Hot Shots.  It doesn't load fully and I've done EVERYTHING I know to do to get it to play.  No errors show up.  I can play ALL the other flash games but this one.  When I right click, the name of the site's owners do not show up....I have the settings showing though Not all of the game loads and that's the problem.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling....tried a different browser and have the same exact problem.  THIS GAME WILL NOT PLAY.
