I have 10 mc's on my page which I want to load from alpha = 0 to 100, one at a time, but in a random order each time the page is loaded. I have code which uses an array to loop the mc's and I can then load the array into a tween using as2, but I don't know how to randomly create an array, then load these answers into a tween and play them one after another until the loop is complete.

Given a scenario where i have 3 movieclip that is playing together at one time, is it possible when i click on a button, a new movieclip will be loaded while 1 of the currently playing movieclip will be randomly removed/opacity reduce to 0?
URL...I have created an animation which has the bird fly up & chirp, and would like to replace all the birds with this.For now I have replaced all buttons w/ the animation on stage and they all lie on the 1st frame. But thats kinda not what I want.How can I get any one bird animation to play, one at a time, at a random interval of 15-45 seconds?
I want a movieclip consisting of a dynamic text box that, from the time it's loaded onto the stage, loads a randomly selected text string from an array, and continues to loop until the clip is removed from the stage. I also want the text strings to appear in the text box for random intervals between 500 and 3000 milliseconds.

I'm working on creating a new look for my portfolio and had a concept.I would like have one movie clip tween in real time 365 frame increments, while another moves in real time minute or second increments.Along with this, I would like to be able to override the passage of time by scrolling an associated scrollbar.The two tweens would be independent of one another.
I'm testing Live streaming with FMSS. The stream is pushed to FMSS buy Adobe FMLE software. Streaming works fine until I reach 1300-1400 simultaneous connections.No matter what the encoding ratebit is (150kbps or 2000kbps) the stream is no longer play from time to time (5-8 seconds).
The CPU (2xIntel Quad) is loaded less than 20% and memory used is about 2 GB (there is plenty of memory installed 32G). The OS is RedHat 5.3 64bit platform. Network uplink maximum rate is 4Gbps.I disabled the Queue but the problem still persist.
This is something I used to know how to do in the first versions of actionscript, but I've been away from flash for a few years and am utterly lost. What I want to do is to get the movie to display random images (from a selection) for random amounts of time (subject to minimum and maximum times).

I have 5 boxes on the stage as movie clips, each one with the same animation waiting to be targeted. What I need is a random script that will make them play in "random" order. This should occur after a few seconds of inactivity where they each play, but once there's mouse movement, whichever ones did animate should "reset" or play back to their original positions, (assuming there's more boxes and there's movement before all of them play). I have some code in there for arrays and some random script that isn't working right now. I just need the random setup, really. I may be able to figure out the time delay, (maybe), and then be able to tweak the rest of it for how I need. Right now, I've just simplified everything in a 5 box example hoping someone might be able to work with what I have.
when I create a new Tween/Graphic symbol it turns into an old tween I already used (Ex: Two tweens, when trying to use the second one it reverts back to the first one). Both of them are on the same layer called "Text", also it seems to be fixed when I put the second tween on a new layer. But if I do this I will have at least a good 50 layers of text :S.
Second problem is I want my background music to loop throughout the whole video, my project has multiple scenes and I am baffled as to how to make the music play throughout.
EDIT: my project has to be 45 seconds and the music loop I'm using is about 17 seconds.
The actionscript code works fine, except for the tween, which is applied on all the sample rectangles at once. I want to fade in the rectangles (or any other dynamically created movieclips in loops) one at a time.
I have a loop in the flash file. it gives me a number of X & Y as the to & from coordinates and places a movieclip on the stage. I then have the tween class moving each clip as it is placed. the example is below:
I am trying to create an effect where my movieclip appears to float in space-like a particle suspended in liquid. Actually, that's exactly what it is I've managed to make it randomly move around, but this code just makes it seem to jump around jerkily. I'd like to smooth out the transitions with a tween but am having a heck of a time figuring out how to do it.

I have a .fla with 5 pics on my timeline and using tween function to roll them from bottom to top, what I need to get those images random from o folder or something.
What I want to achieve is a script that creates a random tween of a certain object (a button object in this case), within a confined space (i.e. don't move the button out of visibility completely). My basic idea is:
a) for each button (there will be about 5 or 6 buttons in total), get its position. b) for each button, move (randomly) either left or right by X pixels and (randomly) either up
Or down by Y pixels (where X and Y are random numbers within a specified range, e.g. random number between 10 and 40 pixels for instance). [However, before moving the object, determine if the new coordinate will put the object out of visibility. If it will, repeat step b) until it won't put it out of visibility. if actionscript has while loops, I'm sorted]
c) repeat from a [is there something like javascript's setInterval() for actionscript?].
Is it possible to Tween more than one Movie Clip at a time? It seems to allow one to run at a time.
I have a project that I'm dynamically creating Movie Clips into a holder (another Movie Clip). I want to fade one in and another out at the same time. I'm dynamically creating them as I never know how many I will have (maybe 6, maybe 20).[code]...

The tween works only once. I need it so when the tween is finished, it does the same tween (with a different random number (different position)), however after the first two tweens (x and y) have finished the movieclips just sit there.
I have a file with tweens created in the code. The file worked fine most of the time. But sometimes for no apparent reason the tween would stick at some random point through its execution. It was a small problem at first. But the more content my file has, the more it's happening and now I'm lucky if it doesn't stick! I'm loading a lot of images in externally (not with xml just with the loader class for now). I thought this would ease the problem but if anything it's becoming worse with the extra content that's added.
I am trying to generate a random number of mc's, generate a random type of tween (_x, _y or _alpha), generate a random tween property (Bounce.easeIn, Elastic.easeInOut, etc.), generate random start and end numbers, and then finally generate a random duration for each motion tween. I have noticed that everything is generating randomly perfectly fine, but when it comes to actually creating the tween for each mc it does not work.
