Remove Black Bottom Border On Embedded FLV File?

I have decided to embed FLV movie files into my HTML page that I have rendered from After Effects.
I have noticed that there is a black 1px bottom border on my FLV movie on my webpage. The FLV fits perfect on the space I have left on my webpage and border is 0 everywhere. I have checked the After Effects original file and there is no accidental space or background errors that might be causing it.how to remove the black bottom border?

There is a thin border at the top and left margins of my Flash movie when the .html is viewed in a browser. I know this is probably an easy fix, but I can't figure it out. I have made a banner in AE 5.5 that is 800 px by 150 px, I made an swf in flash but it won't play it to the size without a black bar on the top and bottom.

The website that I built, I used Adobe media encoder and flash to make it a .flv file, the website works fine as far as playing the pages with video in Safari and Firefox, when I go to the same website in internet explorer the video plays with a big black border each of my video's, why would that be ?

I'd like to know if there is a way for me to someone create a 1px or 2px black border around only the opaque pixels in my movie clip?
I have a movie clip that has nested inside of it a Sprite that contains a graphic that was loaded up at runtime via Loader object. The graphic is a png image that contains parts of it as transparent.

I've embedded a flash object in a form, and anchored it to the 4 borders. And when I resize the window, the flash application resizes too... but it tries to keep its proportions, showing unaesthetic black bars instead of change its width/length proportion.

I'm well aware of the Eleos/Microsoft issues that came before IE 8. However this isn't my problem. My company's website is able to display the swf file fine in FF but in IE, as soon as somebody clicks on the swf file, it does its thing without having to double-click (as in the ActiveX issue previously discussed) but also has what looks like a pink border around it. I'm testing in IE and created the Flash component in Flash CS4 using AS 3.0.Like I said before, the SWF object is activated on the first click, and doesn't have to do with the previously mentioned ActiveX control issue.

I have seen numerous threads talking about Adobe Media Encoder producing black bars when converting videos. Some are saying it's a bug w/ CS4, others are saying its something to do w/ non-square pixels.My dilema is, I have some .mov files created in Final Cut Pro with a 4:3 aspect in NTSC. I need to convert them to .flv so I can stream them on a website. My current settings are:
FLV - Web Large, PAL Source (I'm using PAL because it seemed to create a better quality video when I was streaming)
Export Video
Export Audio
On2 Codec[code]....
When I export the files and try to play them in a web flash player (480x400) I get black bars on the top and bottom. I don't really have a lot of experience doing video editing so I'm shooting in the dark here.I have adjusted a lot of the pre-mentioned settings but still no luck.

I have successfully embedded the youtube video in my flash code with:

However, the video plays with black bars on top and bottom even though it plays without those directly from youtube: [URL]. Even if I take off the scaling, it still has the black bars. How do I get rid of them? It seems like youtube uses a different player than flash. [URL]. Click on #1 and you will see the video I am talking about.

Let say I have a BitmapData with different pixels representing an object, and some black pixels around it that I want to remove.I would like to obtain a new BitmapData, with width and height of the object represented by non-black pixels.For example, let say I have a BitmapData 400x400px, but the object represented by non-black pixels occupies the rect: x=100, y=100, width=200, height=200. I want to get new BitmapData representing that rect, all black pixels should be removed. Of course, i have no coordinates for that rectangle, i need somehow to make difference between a full black bitmapdata and the original one, and construct a new bitmapdata (different width and height).

The movie disappears but the placement turns black.
I added:

But the other clips of the main movie doesn't load.

according the documentation borderThickness is an applicable style, but when I try to set it to anything (would prefer '0') it says "The style 'borderThickness' is excluded by type 'mx.controls.DateField'."I could style the background color to be the same as the background, but I have an image behind so this will not work.

I'm working in ActionScript 3 and, yet again, I'm starting to regret trying to use components as it seems I always run into a brick wall when using them : (
I have a TextArea component instantiated and added to the display list programmatically via ActionScript 3 code (not AS2, which is all I could find reference to on the net about this).
How to disable the border so it doesn't show around the TextArea component? I've tried a bunch of things, like for example:

and
myTextArea.setStyle("borderStyle", "none");

How do you remove the border & shadow from a scrollpane?I've tried to edit the component parts (after reading that it's a filter applied) but I can't find the component that needs edited.I've also tried setStyle for shadowColor and borderColor but that isn't making any difference.

With the Flex 3 SDK you simply needed to set the borderThickness style to 0, or set borderStyle to none. With the Flex 4 SDK ad the Spark theme, this has no effect.

I'm writing a standalone windows AIR app and using
contextView.stage.align = StageAlign.TOP;
contextView.stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN_INTERACTIVE;
contextView.stage.scaleMode = StageScaleMode.SHOW_ALL;
Which will scale my app to full screen and show the entire app with no cropping, however may leave borders on the left and right. Which it does I'm wondering if there is a way to remove or at least set the color of those borders, they are currently white. Its a big wide 2" section on the left only in my case.
So I found out how to change the color of it, by doing a backgroundColor="#f3f3f3" on

I have been searching all over about removing embedded swf.

I am working on a webpage where i have to include an embedded video.The video is hosted on some other domain.I am able to embed the video and autoplay once the web page is loaded.However i have a requirement where i have to remove the div displaying the video once it is played , and in place of the video i have to now display some text.
The problem is i am able to do autoplay by the autostart variable in the embed tag...but how do i know that the video has ended.The hosting company only provides an embed tag and they donot have any player apis to use.
One way (or rather a workaround) that i feel is to start a eventlistener in the background and see for the total time of the video and when that time is reached remove the content.But the problem is what if the user pauses the video, then also the div would be deleted.

I got a flash file from my friend he uses Macromedia Flash 8, I use CS5.5 (Flash 11.5). When I open the file I get a blank project that looks like something should be there. Does anybody know how I can fix this. I ask my friend and he can't send anything else other than this cause this is all he has and know of the issue but don't know how to address it.
