Unable To Save Fla "read-only"?
Jun 11, 2009I don't understand why the fla file is set to read-only.I didn't do anything and it won't let me even change the name and save.I can't save the hard drive or server.

Feb 21, 2012I have build a basic and very simple web browser, it contains two features, the "go back" and "go forward" navigation tools, and of course the URL search field. And i'm happy with that, but, it can't read javascript or the necessary components for a "basic" browser. Asp.net :: Use Flash To Save And Read Data Within A SharePoint Site?
Nov 21, 2011I'm a complete newbie to SharePoint and I've been tasked to develop a SharePoint site with Flash content (Flash CS3 or CS5). I've done some quick research on this and I understand there are different ways to query SharePoint. I must say it's been a long process for me to try to piece different bits of information to achieve what I'm asked to do.
So here it is. Develop a site using SharePoint 2007 with Flash content.User input in the Flash objects will be stored.Previous user input will be retrieved and displayed in the Flash objects for reviewing purpose.User input will later be processed/manipulated for reporting purposes.Embed FLV videos on certain pages. I understand data can be saved as lists in SharePoint and you can create custom ASPX to get the lists and parse it as XML input for a Flash object. Can I reverse this process when it comes to saving data?
What would be the best approach to implement the above requirements in SharePoint 2007 environment?
Or, should I consider saving data in an external DB, say MSSQL, and having custom ASPX query that DB and generate XML for Flash objects? Or maybe any APIs that can make this process easier?
Professional :: Unable To Save Document As (Flash CS5 - BUG - OSX)
Jun 29, 2010I have upgraded my CS4 to CS5 on MAC OSX and i'm having problems saving new and existing fla files. It doesnt always do it but it's very anoying when you have done some work and are unable to save it.
I get this message:
unable to save document as (file name)
please try saving to a different filename or location.
even if i try to save as to a different location i get the same message, this ONLY happens in flash CS5 and does not do it on any other application or even flash CS4. To put it bluntly i am absolutely furious with this and when you pay this amount of money should not get this hassle for such a simple action.
I have tried phoneing the adobe support line and it's a joke, you can't even understand the operator to even get anywhere and i just gave up having to repeat myself and asking them to repeat themselves.
I would be grateful if someone out there knows an answer to this or have a contact email for adobe support that i can email them direct. As a flash developer it's critical i can get on with my work without worrying if my work will even save.
UPDATE: I can save files in CS5 as CS4 documents but not as CS5, this is so annoying.

Approximetly i get this after about 2-3 hours withevery project.After i get this error there is no chance to test movies afterwards.I see a fast flash of the loader window but it dissapears so fast i cant even really see if it is loader.

I can save files in CS5 as CS4 so they can be read at college (by Flash) but I have to do it via the "save as" every time I save. After a couple of times, it get rather irritating. Jul 16, 2011I have a site that plays either .mp3 or .flv files depending on what is selected from the menu. Menu loads in from xml. I get "unable to make connection with server or unable to find flv on server" when I try to play the video. But the video and audio files are all in the same directory and the mp3 files play fine. I think I'm having a problem with the setMedia command. Here's the code that loads the video and audio files.

Oct 23, 2009when i have imgs:Array = this.childNodes[1].childNodes; it brings me both imagesSet. Now i want to pick either of the two. I dont want to define each into an array (like imgs1:Array = this.childNodes[1].childNodes(0).childNodes and like wise mgs2:Array=this.childNodes[1].childNodes(1).childNodes) because in the future there could be more sets of images coming up so dont want to keep adding array for each everytime we add a set.
