Actionscript 3 :: Android - Tablet Doesn't Fire KeyboardEvent.KEY_DOWN?

I am trying to proven the default functionality of the Android home screen button but the KeyboardEvent.KEY_UP event does not fire when the home key is pressed the the tablet i have.eee transformer prime) Is there another why to detect and stop this functionality?

when I use this code I got some following errors Warning: 1090: Migration issue: The onKeyDown event handler is not triggered automatically by Flash Player at run time in ActionScript 3.0. You must first register this handler for the event using addEventListener ( 'keyDown', callback_handler).
How do I get rid of it?

I have an as3 built osmf video player swf that we embed on a standard HTML page. When you touch the image the video automatically goes fullscreen and begins playing. Droid and Flash often break after changing back and forth between landscape and portrait while in fullscreen.(by break I mean freeze, where you can hear the video and use the controls, but everything is just a still frozen image, the redrawing fails).Can you lock the fullscreen orientation in html, javascript, or do you have to try to handle it inside the swf?

I gone thorough the adobe flash builder video tutorials and did the same thing to create an application for android device, but when i run the application it is showing Sorry dialog box saying that, The application Test1-debug(process air.Test1.debug) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again. I tried many times but it is not working. Initially i thought no Adobe-AIR in my device, but it is there. I am using Reliance 3G Tab. I don't why it is not working, if anybody know this please reply me.
One more thing, i downloaded one APK (which is designed with adobe flash or flex) file from [URL]..and installed on my android device. When i run that application only blank screen is appearing, but in video they shown, it is working. Why it is happening like this?? Is any problem with my tablet ?? or application ?? or adobe AIR not installed properly on device ?? Like this i am getting too many doubts.

I recently discovered that the MouseEvents in my Flash animations aren't working on touch screen Android tablets. Is there some extra code that I need to add to make this work? I've built apps that connect to a server. But this time a client has asked for an app with no need to connect to a server to update content (images,videos,text). It will be Android tablet to a Windows laptop via USB. It will be for end user no dragging and dropping into specific folders using USB debugging. I was thinking I may need to build an app for the laptop (content manager) and then the app for tablet. Is a framework out there that could jump start this?

I have implemented an Augmented Reality application on Adobe Air for Android. When I publish my app on the android mobile phone (Nexus One) the 3D models that I have created don't appear on the screen.On flash CS5 it is working fine.I have used Away3DLite engine and I have imported a 3D collada object.I have also tried to publish some projects that I found online and I checked if the the 3D model appears on the screen but it doesn't show it either. how the 3D Models that I have imported in my project using Away3DLite can be visible when I publish the application on the android phone. Some extra stuff be usefull: I'm using GPU rendering.A also using a combination of the following softwares in order to create my AR application:

I need to use flash as3 to create a game, and I have tried to use 3 layer to load my swf. My game is in the third layer, and the first and second layers are just a preloader script.My problem is when the game is loaded onto the stage of first layer my KeyboardEvent function is not work until I press the stage.I have try to use Event.ADDED_TO_STAGE to solve it, but I also get a same error.this is my code for preloader

when was working on a keyboard handler class.Look at this video: http:[url]....I you press a key and unpress it, while other key is being pressed, you'll cancelate the KeyboardEvent .KEY_DOWN event...It seems the umpressed key fires KeyboardEvent.KEY_UP but the current pressed key doesn't register the new KeyboardEvent.KEY_DOWN event, or KeyboardEvent handles both keys as one...

I'm trying to wrapup a slideshow for a client and the client asked for keyboardEvents in addition to buttonEvents. So I went ahead and added a stage.addEventListener and it works but only if you click on the stage first. In Flash CS4 itself when you test a movie, the problem doesn't happen but when you test it in a browser, the problem exists. Go to [URL] and see what I mean. Try the keyboard left and right arrows first. Then click on the stage and try again. How can I make it get focus on the stage on startup?

I am having problems with a ChangeWatcher.Everything seems to be set up correctly.The canWatch method returns true, the isWatching method returns true and if I query the return value of the getValue method I get the correct information, including changes. I use movie clip as a button. Inside movie clip there are two movie clip, each one for a separated condition. On mouse over it goes on white one.On mouse out it returns on blue one.If it is pressed it stays white.Mouse out doesn't fire every time. It is placed on the white movie clip. It fires in 90 percent.Movie clip contains shape and two images inside.

I'm having a bit of an issue with a video player I'm building out. I THINK that it might be the encoding process on the backend that's causing this, but I can't be sure. Basically, when loading an .flv from a server, the NetStatus events and onMetaData received doesn't fire until the video is 100% loaded. This is causing some pretty major issues including not being able to play the video until it's fully downloaded (and these videos could be 20 minutes long for all I know).

I have some MovieClips with mouse linteners, but if I mouse out of a movieclip instantly on to another one the 2nd movieclips MOVE_OVER event doesn't fire. Is there a work arround for this? If you don't know what i'm talking about the flash can be found here [URL] Try mousing from one movieclip to another without hitting the background and the tooltip wont show up. I was thinking of finding the movieclip i'm over by looking at the x and y position of the mouse and comparing that to the x y and z of all the movieclips but i'm hoping theres an easier way.

i'm trying to make a scrollable box, when a mouse enters and STAYS on "wrapper"'s area, "pubsBox" moves 10 pixels to the left.

My problem is that I'm not sure how to make the MouseEvent.MOUSE_OVER work, to recognize that the mouse is still ON the area and so pubsBox should continue to move 10 pixels to the left every second. I understand that i have to use a Timer, but what I'm concerned about is the fact that I can't get Flex to recognize that the mouse is still OVER "wrapper" and continue firing the event.

I've got a canvas within which I have a list. The renderer for this list calls upon a "Text" field, with the "link" element of this field set to a function. The "htmlText" of the field is set dynamically to a mixture of words and links. Basically the function checks to see which tag within the htmlText has been clicked and performs an event accordingly.However, you have to click the link twice for anything to happen. Whilst debugging the code I noticed that the function referenced by the "link" element isn't actually even called until the 2nd click.

I have a flash file that reads and XML file, it creates an empty movie clip in a placeholder (mc_image_holder) for each entry in the file, so 4 entries in the XML file = 4 movie clips inside the placeholder. it does this like so:

however, for some reason, the last created movie clip in the place holder never fires the onEnterFrame event more than once, so, If I were to trace the word "hi" I would only get it once, where as if I apply that to each of the other three that are created, it would put it many times, as it should.

I'm trying to load PNG images with ActionScript with a Loader object. This works fine for some of the images (the INIT and COMPLETE events are fired as expected), for some other it doesn't. I've read in this thread that a URLLoader might help, so I tried that, using the loadBytes() function afterwards. Still doesn't work: the URLLoader fires the COMPLETE event, but the LoaderInfo object does not.I've written a sample class that demonstrates the problem with two files (one working, the other one not).

Within my application I'm using a Scroller component. I can't seem to figure out which event I should set up a listener on in order to know when content is scrolled. I tried Event.CHANGE on Scroller.verticalScrollBar property but apparently that event doesn't fire when the user scrolls with a mouse wheel or arrow keys.

I am developing an application for android 3.0 tablet, that's supposed to play swf files inside a WebView.First I tried to open the swf file from the device, than through the internet, with no luck.The WebView shows up, but inside the WebView all I can see is a black screen (with a 3-4 px wide white line on the right).If I load the same URL to the device browser, the flash file plays well.I think Im missing something on the WebView setup, but after a few hours of searching and googling I still dont know what.The Java code:

While trying to develop some Android app I ran into the following problem:I load an swf file to a WebView, that makes js calls. I want to catch those js calls, so I useWebViews.addJavascriptInterface() to do so.Everything worked just fine when i loaded the swf file from a remote server, but when I load the same swf file form the Android file system, the javascript methods seem not to run (at least I cannot see them).
