Actionscript :: Disable Warning (especially Binding Warnings) In Console In Flex (eclipse With Flex Plugin)?

I did suppress warnings in flex compiler using "-show-binding-warnings=false". But what I am interested to achieve is to suppress run time warnings (especially binding warnings - since I am getting data in model mostly in XML structures and it is fine for me if its unable to bind to its nested child nodes) in console (I am working on flex on Eclipse with the flex plug in). Is there a way to achieve it?

I am taking XML type variables in model and binding with component properties in action script code. Its perfectly fine if its unable to bind the child nodes or other sibling properties of the XML itself and I dont want eclipse to generate this run time warning! I did suppress warnings in flex compiler using "-show-binding-warnings=false". But that does not seem to be working for run time binding warnings.

When developing Flex projects, Eclipse gives warnings about the default index.html file generated by Flex Builder. The file is in the 'target' folder (or "generated artifacts" folder. Yes, I'm also using Maven). Can I eliminate or disable this warning?The code which generates the warning is below, though I would definitely prefer not changing the html - as I say this is the template suggested by Adobe. I installed Flex Builder plug in (3.2) into Eclipse 3.4. The installation had no errors, but I get this error when trying to start a new Flex Project.The selected wizard could not be started.

I have downloaded Eclipse - Helios and it is working perfectly. I am having a little trouble understanding the Flex functionality with Eclipse. Is it possible to download a Flex plugin or whatever it is called free of charge to develop and compile mxml and actionscipt files without having to purchase FlexBuilder 3 or 4 at a price of $600. I am under the impression that Eclipse is a free download and and Flexsdk is a free download. Can't they be put together into one tool? I cant afford the $600.

I installed the Adobe Flash Builder 4.5 which includes the eclipse plugin.I want 2 use my existing eclipse, so I copied the contents of plugin and features folder to existing eclipse folder.I see the Flex features in Eclipse, but trying to open the Flex Builder Path causes eclipse to crash. I've noticed that when debugging using the eclipse flash builder plugin, one cannot drill in to the key set / values of a flash.utils.Dictionary in the Variables view. Even after selecting the "Show Logical Structure" button. Does anyone else run into this issue? Is there anyway I could see the see all of the keys / values when debugging (apart from writing a loop to do this or manually testing possible keys in the Expressions view)?

where does Flex builder 3 plugin output error messages? I'm trying to import wsdl however i keep getting an "unable to load wsdl" message.
Ive tried creating a trusted certificate in the jdk cacerts file however no success and could do with seeing what is actually the problem. I have looked under the Program Files/Adobe/Flex Builder 3 plugin/ folder but cant find anything which has been updated in the time frame ive been seeing the exceptions.

I've recently started working with an application written using Adobe Flex 3. We're using several deprecated functions and unfortunately we can't remove these dependencies.
The documentation says to set -show-deprecated-warnings=false into the Compiler Additional Options. This isn't accepted, but I've found that using -show-deprecation-warnings=false will be accepted by the dialog, but gives an error about declaring the option twice when I try to compile the project.
Ideally, I'd like a way to disable the warning on a case-by-case basis. disable the warnings either per-file, per-project or globally?

And I found in my current workspace, IntelliSense can only show the public methods, it cannot show me the protected methods (but it can compile and the app runs well).However, in other workspaces, it works well.If I create a new workspace, it's the same, that the IntelliSense can only show me the public methods, not protected methods.

I'm trying out the Flex Builder 3 Plugin for Eclipse, and it doesn't seem to have quick fix or automatic imports. I use those two features a lot with Java and FDT. I've been googling, but all I've found is some plugin that someone wrote for Flex Builder 2, and no other mentions. Is Flex Builder supposed to have these features?

And I want to bind these values to textBoxes, so that when user types information to the textBoxes it is populated in the class too. Is Flex 3 bidirectional so that marking the class with [Bindable] I can bind the values to a textbox for example?This is my mxml file in which I try to bind the class:

The flex compiler shows me this kind of warnings: Data binding will not be able to detect assignments to "company".

I'm building a somewhat large Flex project that includes several modules (a single Flex project that produces multiple SWFs)
Right now, I have a single css file, being loaded in the main SWF tag:

And repeat for Button, TextArea, etc etc. I have so many useless warnings, it is impossible to see if there are any valid ones.
Is this warning caused by something I'm doing wrong? The styles are all being applied correctly and appears to work just the way I want at runtime.
NOTE: I've tried the -show-unused-type-selector-warnings=false compiler flag, and it does not work...that's for a similar but different warning.

I'm using FDT and Flash 10, and have just discovered Flixel, but when I import the source into my classes directory I get loads of errors and warnings.
I have fixed the errors, after reading this post, but I still have a lot of warnings left.
Is there any way to stop FDT from giving me warnings on a specific package? I guess Eclipse would have the same option?

I have bought a chat package, and over 9 months i am running into the problem hat it is gooing slow with more users online. So i decided to install the "flash debug player 10" and check what exacly is happening. Within 2 minutes the flashlog.txt (error log of debug player) was 195KB I will now paste the error messages that are dumped into flashlog.txt tha occur the most and i think it seems as if the error message comes from a loop, because there are so many of these warnings:

I'm playing a flash game on facebook. I know I can decompile it to find out all the commands and would like to make scripts to automate the game by calling procedures in the actionscript of the game. So I guess I would like to make a plugin also that would insert this console into any flash app and this would be handy for a lot of things. Then if anyone wants to hack a new game, u just decompile it and make a handbook of methods for people to make scripts with. So how would I go about making this console? I don't know if I could make a swf interact with the game or if it has to be compiled into the game's swf. Or if it is easier with javascript, that is cool too. maybe we can make a javascript library just for this. anyone can tell me more?
