I would like to know how to make flash size (width and height) full size in the browser? the real size of flash is w:955px h:600px I tried to make w:100% and h:100%, it makes pictures pixelate.
View 6 Replies[URL].. Anyone know the AS to make it automatically check the size of the browser for the listeners_notice when you resize the browser it works perfectly...but not when it first loads up.

I'm working on a small flash site and I want the swf file to have "bleed" or to go to the very end of the window so that the swf isn't just ploped over top of a background. [URL]
View 1 RepliesI am making full browser page, but resize doesnt work well. It looks like the flash took wrong stageWidth and stageHeight at the start... Then it all works but with wrong numbers [URL] (when you launch swf in standalone player, it works well - download [URL]

how people use the full browser size in flash, even when resizing? Just like they did on [URL], the navigation is always on the bottom of the window, still after resizing the same for [URL], here also the background images resize real time
View 3 RepliesI have a standalone Flash projector running off CD. Currently, I use
getURL("http:url....);
to open the page on default browser. Only problem is the browser window is opening at the size it was last used. I like to see it opens full screen.
I'm trying to create a small flash-app, which needs to run as big as possible on the browser. For example regexr and Grooveshark work this way. However, if I use the File -> Publish Settings and there set the width and height 100%, it resizes to full browser, but... When I use stageHeight and stageWidth, they don't change. I only have one frame in my animation, so should I fire a eventListener for something like "resize"?
View 2 Repliesim trying to make my flash website full screen inside the users browser, is there any way of doing this to the flash file inside the index file? Ive found it hard to find this info online as i dont mean properly full screen, just full screen inside the browser.
View 3 RepliesI've spent the past few days having a look for this and no luck so far. Basically I have got a multi-page XML gallery with thumbnails. At the moment the images in the gallery stay their original size. I want to make it so that a) the image takes up the entire page of the browser/stage, and b) the image resizes as the browser does, which I suppose might be in the publish settings.
So my question is how can I size this image so it takes up the entire stage? I've tried fiddling around with Stage.width and Stage.height but no luck so far.
Something like this: [URL]is what I mean.
Attached is my .fla, the actionscript code is all within a key frame inside gallery_mc.
How do I centre my Flash content horizontally in the browser window? In the Publish Settings I see there are options to align the HTML to Default, Left, Right, Top and Bottom, but no Center. Is there a setting somewhere else? Do I need to write some ActionScript to do this? (If so, what?)
View 2 RepliesI need to do exactly the same, but using an animation inside a mc instead of a pixel background. Does anyone know how to do that?
View 1 RepliesThis is my semi-finished art project URL...If you open it normally (providing you have a webcam) it works perfectly however I'm looking to showcase the piece on a projector and need to have it full screen.[code]I have made the piece so that the "orbs" rotate around the center point and the diamter of the rotation alters dependant on the activity level of the webcam. It looks very pretty when you open the swf. normally but when full screened the centres of rotation are completely off.Whats the best way around this? I'm in desperate need of full screen capability! [code]ps forgot to mention. all code is inside a blank movieclip called "orb" and then a copy of the movieclip is placed in every corner but flipped/rotated to achieve the butterfly/symmetry effect. this is the issue i belive that effects the full screen stuff.
View 1 RepliesI have been struggling with the affect the browser zoom level has on my application for days. Finally I built the below test swf and noticed that when user zoom in using the browser zoom (IE 8) the box centering stopped working correctly.Movie with moviclip named box and button named mybtn with three text fields:

My workspace is 1000X1200 and I have a background image in Flash 1920 width. I want the SWF to aligned to center in the HTML with a regular browser scroller.
I'm trying to publish 100% X 100% with no scale but the scroll bar doesn't show from bottom to top and the SWF parts are missing!
How can I make it to show the background (what outside stage) with regular browsers scrollers and align to center?
I am trying to build a flash that auto-adjust its size to the browser window size, while leaving the content of the flash itself top-centered in the screen.I have found this solution [URL].. on How to keep centered stuff in this exact case so i am pretty confident i will be able to adjust that script to do what i want.
Now my problem is that if i put my content inside the movie-clip (centerrectangle) with all the animation require, link and other stuff, the movieclip (center rectangle ) never have the exact same center, thus making the script go wild trying to always adjust the location to the variable size of the movie clip.

I have my flash site working ok, but want the pop up browsers that are sized to pop up in the centre of the screen, instead of the bottom! Anyone know how to fix this? I'm using the following code on buttons:
on (release) {
getURL("javascript:CultWear=window.open('http://www.stevedawson.org.uk/cultweargallery.html','CulWea','width=1133,height= 425,left=425,top=1133,screenX=1133,screenY=425');C ultWear.focus();void(0);");
}
and this is the site so far.... [URL]
Just a quick one. Using AS3, how would I ensure that a movieClip always stays in the centre of the stage on resize?
View 1 RepliesHow do I center (on stage) a loaded image inside a createEmptyMovieClip ?I've read so many threads...can't make it work

I am working in Flash CS3 and Actionscript 3.0 My application resizes according to browser width and height. If the user first resizes the browser and then loads the flash application, I could not get the full browser width untill the user goes for full screen. Is there any way around, to get the full browser width before the user goes for full screen.
View 1 Repliesbasically my flash works fine in every other browser except IE every page I tested in IE tester that has flash included, has the .swf half its size. Its not distorted rather its just small.Here is my object code.

I have an AIR application set to 800px wide and 600px high. When I launch it, the window starts too small with horizontal and vertical scrollbars?

Something I need to change?
View 2 RepliesI've seen the Full Browser Flash video which has tiling in the background. Can somebody supply code, and possibly an example of how to have one scalable image as the background without distortion whilst the foreground flash remains the same size. the site below is exactly what i'm after with the menu fixed to the left.

Is it also possible to have the menu bar a fixed percentage from the top of the browser?e.
I'm tring to make the swf full screen. I published it with scale of 100%.I wish to have some movie clips like text or buttons in fixed size.first, I don't get Event.RESIZE when the stage changed its size second, I try to set their size , but their size is changed according to the stage size and do not stay in the height width values
View 7 RepliesI'm currently making a website that i would like to be full size, whatever the resolution/window size is. Whenever i search for help i just get tutorials for fullscreen mode which is not what im looking for.
an example of what i'd like is this: [URL]
Whatever size you make the window - the flash file is stretched to fit.
I was checking out flash templates looking for inspiration, when I ran across this template.If you open the link, you'll see a button on the right side of the flash file which allows for full screen display. There are no browser elements visible at all.
View 1 RepliesMy flash program isn't using the full browser window, even while in full-screen mode. It uses the full height but not the full width. I end up with a large chunk of white space. I have the following code for full-screen mode:

So the problem is that the stage's width isn't the full size of the browser. I'm using Flash Builder 4.6 is there a way to set the stage's parameters to allow for true full-screen?
