Flash - Export A Drawing Made In Flash As A Transparent Png?
Jun 17, 2009export a drawing made in flash as a transparent png in actionscript I know you can do it as a jpg with a white background but can you export the transparency?

Jan 12, 2012I have this current simple setup:
- MOVIECLIP1, with more than 30 run-time drawing shapes that modify on enterframe.
- and MOVIECLIP2, wich should contain an exact copy of MOVIECLIP1 drawed data.
The point is that MOVIECLIP2 will be as a "reflection" or "shadow" of movieclip1. I won't need to do any interaction with it, only apply filters. Is there anyway that this can be possible - rather than having to draw the same shapes twice on both movieclips?

ActionScript 3.0 :: Moving A Shape Made By Graphic Class Drawing?
Oct 7, 2011I drew a line (stepVoltage) in a fla using the graphics class. Once drawn, I want to move it to the right in an update function, but am having trouble. I tride just moving the line with statements like stepVoltage.x = newX; stepVoltage.y = newY; but this didnt work. Then I tried to delete the previous line and draw a new one with a clear () function (see below) but this blocked the next drawn line from showing up.

ActionScript 3.0 :: Draw App With Transparent PNG Export?
May 14, 2008ROLL_OUT event isn't always stopping the cursor from drawing. If the cursor is moved very slowly, you can draw outside the drawingBoard_mc area despite my event listener. I tried MOUSE_OUT too without success.
drawingBoard_mc is 600x100 pixels. When I call PNGExport and pass the clip and size the PNG from drawingBoard_mc.height and drawingBoard_mc.width I sometimes end up with a few extra pixels like... 607x101. This generally happens when the pen drew past the drawingBoard_mc slightly.
Missing Feature:
export the PNG with just black lines (drawn by the user) and a transparent background. Currently I have to edit the file afterward to remove the white background.[code]...
Professional :: 9-slice Scaled Object Won't Export As Transparent PNG
Aug 13, 2009Is it possible to export a 9-slice scaled object as a transparent PNG? At the moment File > Export > Export Image > Transparent PNG will not output any 9-slice objects. This is quite a hassle, since I can't seem to get these objects transparently into Photoshop or Illustrator (both CS4) - what's the use of working with 9-slice objects if you can't export them flattened even to other applications? I use them extensively, but looks like I will have to convert them all the separate movieclips without this cool functionality, since it is more a pain than anything else once you need to use these graphics outside Flash CS4.
Am I missing something? "Work seamlessly between Adobe apps" is starting to sound more than a marketing/sales pitch than an actual reality. I have tried export these images as EPS/AI to open in Illustrator CS4 - they don't come out correctly at all / gradients messed up / errors on open. So, no more 9-slice scaling objects if I want to export to tranparent PNG from the IDE?
Actionscript :: Drawing Back To Transparent?
May 21, 2009When I have a movie clip, it starts out s transparent. I can draw on this movie clip, producing essentially a transparent image. That is, wherever I have not yet drawn, shows the layer below, and where I have drawn, it shows what I have just drawn.
Question is, how to "undraw" things in this movie clip, so that I can see what is behind it. I know I could erase the movie clip, but is there a way to un-draw parts of the movie clip to get it back to transparent?

Mar 16, 2010I have a huge background bitmapdata with a corresponding grid. I'm trying to draw the two parts onto a different bitmapdata, but for some reason, the bitmap for the grid is overriding the bitmapdata of the background that is being drawn first. The grid seems to be making the entire third bitmapdata transparent for some reason.

May 16, 2011I'm trying to publish an iPhone game and I have downloaded everything I need to allow me to publish through flash. I'm on a pc and I can't figure out what the password is of the .p12 certificate I made in openssl is. Here are the steps I've used:
I create my key:
openssl genrsa -out mykey.key 2048
I create a CSR with the correct info
openssl req -new -key mykey.key -out CertificateSigningRequest.certSigningRequest -subj "/emailAddress=yourAddress@example.com, CN=John Doe, C=US"
I upload this to apple and then download the certificate they send me, which I convert to a PEM with this code:
openssl x509 -in developer_identity.cer -inform DER -out developer_identity.pem -outform PEM
For my final step, I generate the .p12 using this:
openssl pkcs12 -export -inkey mykey.key -in developer_identity.pem -out iphone_dev.p12
Flash requires I enter the .p12, the .p12 password, and the provisioning profile I got from apple.
