View 1 RepliesI am having this issue with Flash CS5 Mac version:After making an animation, I export movie as Quicktime. When I view this movie, the animation leaves trails of color when an object moves across the screen, leaving behind little bits of color too. This does not happen when I export a SWF, but it does happen when I export a Quicktime movie. I export using Quicktime, so I can then I can export it into a flv in Adone media encorder.Why does this happen?

View 1 RepliesI'm having difficulties doing an animation here, all I'd like to do is create 30sec animation for a big screen (without sound). It needs to have an aspect ratio of 16:9 and be exported in the file format of either mov or wmv. Any recommends for settings to do this the best way?
So far I've made my flash document as large as possible at that ratio (36" x 20" ), created the timeline to 30 seconds and started importing my graphics and such. My biggest problem I've had is when I export to mov, the animations are slow and the video time is longer than what I've set. (whereas exported as avi, the animation is normal) Any ideas on how to counter this problem?
Everytime I export a .gif animation the quality is horrible. As you can see by the picture attached it goes blury and has wierd colours. I have had animations export so bad that you can barely reconize them.
View 10 RepliesWe have some very complex animations that, for performance reasons, we want to have them be bitmaps at runtime..
For example, maybe i can write a jsfl script to copy each frame and paste it into a new .fla as a png instead of as vector art, but I haven't explored that option much.
I have created animation using Actionscript and I want to export it as Video . As I understand Flash by defautl can only export timeline animations (no Acationscript) ;/ I need best possible quality. I need solution for windows. I thought about:
- screen video capture tool - do you know good one for this job?
- some 'SWF to Video' tool - iI tried few but no one works as expected - some have pure quality (even if the best quality is set) others won't display or fail to convert ;/
I have a flash module in a simple webpage.In that flash module : a short video and some graphic elements.When the user clic on "OK", it should export the animation in .avi format and He could have that.Is it possible to create a AS script for that? (avi exportation)
View 1 RepliesIs there a way to export it as AVI or any file type that support HD and get the same out put in SWF, i tried to export but the final output is very weak
View 3 RepliesI am using Flash CS3 on a PC. I am trying to export an animation to quicktime (Export > Export movie) and have some problem regarding the sound. The animation contains actionscript 2.0loads external swf contains streaming soundsplay other sounds via actionscript. 4 scenes. When publishing the animation, it works fine, but when exporting it to .mov, the audio goes faster than the video.
Export setting:
Video:Compression type: H.264Frame Rate: CurrentKeyFrames: 4
Sound:Compressor: 24-bit integerRate: 48.000KhzSize: 16BitUse: Stereo
To be honest, I tried many other compression types and frame rates and keyframes, but nothing seem to work.
I tried:
- importing the external swfs into the original animation
- creating a streaming silence from frame 1 for continuous sound
- capturing the animation using CamStudio, but it's not smooth enough
I was wondering if there are any apps that have animation in a format that could be somehow exported for use in Flash, After Effects, or 3D software. So something other than flip book style "paint" animation. Instead something like vector point animation or object/property animation.

View 5 RepliesWhen I try to export a Quicktime movie from the Export>Export Movie, I get this error message:Error creating Flash movie file.Be sure the destination file is not locked or on a locked drive. Also, check that the file name is not too long.A few things I've tested:
- Saving to different drives - all of which are not locked.
- changing the file name to one single word followed by .mov
- saving the flash file as a new file and trying again
- opening the file on a different machine and exporting
None of these have fixed the problem. Every time I get the same error. I've been able to export swf movies and also JPEG sequences, but I'd much rather be able to export the Quicktime movie since I need to bring this into FCP and the Flash movie has sound in it as well, so with the JPEG sequence I'd have to lay in the audio again.
My SWF file plays properly, but if I open the file in After Effects the movie symbols don't play. Changing the movie symbols into graphic symbols works but then of course I lose my filters. I would export straight to MOV from Flash but that brings up so many other glitches. Basically I am looking for a good way to get video from flash.
View 3 Repliesdetailed explanation of the very best method for taking several Flash clips (multiple layers and audio) and combining them into one, sleek movie with high quality for posting on YouTube?-Exporting the Flash clips as .mov files and compiling them all in Premiere.he problem with this is that no matter what compression I used, I get a really crappy quality-Exporting the Flash clips as .mov files and compiling them all in After EffectsHere I get great quality video, but NO audio.-Combing all the frames into one big .fla file to export as a .mov filelash crashes every time I attempt to combine all the frames
View 1 RepliesI'm working with Flash CS4. When I test a scene, all work just fine, but when I try to test movie, or export the swf file the process stops suddenly and nothing happens.
In my fla file I have 7 scenes and the file size is about 193mb.
I am building an interactive website as my final project for my Webmastering class and need to know one thing. First I'll give you my setup. I have four Movie Clips in four seperate layers on my main timeline. I want to export one of those Movie Clips as an avi file. When I use export>movie, it exports the main timeline. I figured it would do that. So then I opened up the Movie Clip that I want to export and tried the same thing again. No luck. how to remedy this situation. I have five days to do this and have spent about four days of my life working on this if you add up all the hours that I have spent working on this.
View 2 RepliesDoes anyone know how or if you can export a movie clip as a swf and save it somewhere on your hard drive/web space?
For example I have an application that has a movie clip of a christmas tree, the user drags various decorations on to the tree.
Is it possible to export the tree then to a swf they can download themselves?
I just recently finished the snowflake tutorial and made a very nice movie with some minor tweaks of my own into the coding, and I'm very new to flash (this being the first many experiences with it). I want to create a movie that I can make full screen without the task bar at the top (maybe in windows movie viewer or quicktime), but there is no option to play the movie, only to test. When I export the movie into an AVI files, nothing happens.
View 3 RepliesI know I can export a simple tweened animation using "Copy Motion as Actionscript 3.0" and passing the resultant XML to an Animator object. But what I'd like to do is export a frame-by-frame animation and use that in my code.
As for why I want to do this, I'm trying to simulate a post-it being ripped off of a white board. Doing it and getting it to look natural using just code is going to be difficult, so I was thinking of having a designer at my company do a frame-by-frame animation of it and then using that.
I made an animation in Flash which I want to embed in Flex using SWFloader.
I've imported the tweener class (caurina.transitions.*) to tween a rotation. The animation runs perfectly in Flash.
However, when I embed the animation in Flex, the tweening is gone.
Do I need to import the tweener class in Flex?
I use Flash Player 10 (latest version), Flash CS4 Professional version 10.0.02, IE8 and Flex Builder 3.
Is there any way to use the "Export Movie" as "PNG Sequence" to work for movies where objects are animated with actionscript. Exporting like this works just dandy for normal animations, but it doesn't work for my current project. Basically I am creating images using mathematics and I want to be able to export the result as a png for use in other programs like photoshop; but since the images are created with actionscript the export just shows a blank image. Am I reduced to just taking a screenshot of the result and tediously removing all the should-be-transparent regions with the wand tool?
View 1 RepliesIs it possible to export an array of images to some sort of movie animation? The array has bitmaps that I would like to be exported to some sort of video fileIt could be gif, avi, swf, mov, or anything really
View 1 RepliesI'm having some issues getting a button to work from ctionScript.I created a movie clip and export it. Added it to stage and that displayed fine. I then added some text on the movie clip, converted it to a button and exported it... but then hit a wall. The button is in the library, but it doesn't like the ' import fl.controls.Button;'
Here's the code:
package{ import flash.display.*; import flash.events.*; import fl.controls.Button; public class coffeeAS extends

Whenever, I create a project in CS4 and publish or export the movie none of the code works! Yet the same code works when I create the project in CS3 and export it.
View 2 Repliesmy flash movie looks great when it is in it's .swf format. However, when I use the export to .avi option it comes out as REALLY horrible quality. Exporting to quicktime does nothing. I've been looking online and have only found people having the same problems with no solution. I've tried several conversion programs to just convert the swf to avi, but all of them are bad. They're all great in quality but half are fast by a good 30 seconds in sound and the other half replaces my black background to white! People use flash everyday & obviously overcome such a simple problem!
View 1 RepliesI'm trying to export a little animated logo to a video file.
Thing is, I'm using tweener animations, and it's all animated in actionscript. So there's nothing going on on the timeline, except for the first frame that contains the actionscript code and my objects in their starting position.
So when I export, it's just showing a static messed up image of all my elements, which should be hidden from start (due to itemMc.alpha = 0; on basically every item).
I made a very nice movie clip that now resides in the library of my current working fla. I have an external class controlling it and all is fine.
However, I want to use this movie clip in another fla file as well. The method i have used now is to have both projects open, then manually copy the movie clip from one to the other.
Like exporting a movie clip to an "external file-database of movie clips" for importing it in other projects?
So I continue to build my fractal animator, I'm already done with the spinning part, and it works well when I preview but when I publish, the images do not rotate at all. I am using an external class is that has anything to do with it.
It's here: [URL]
And heres my code:
import fl.transitions.Tween;
import fl.transitions.easing.*;
import flash.display.BlendMode;
import flash.geom.Point;
[Code].....
