Nov 4, 2010On a horizontal bar, text scrolls from left to right, continuously. The text is a fixed string of city names, and I've made it so that it loops nicely. This horizontal bar with scrolling text is part of a vertical animation, scrolling the bar in and out of view. The vertical tween starts after two seconds. When the vertical tween starts, the horizontal animation has started as well. At the beginning and end of the vertical tween, the horizontal tween starts over. I want it to continu.

Jun 18, 2010I am using Flash CS3 on a PC. I am trying to export an animation to quicktime (Export > Export movie) and have some problem regarding the sound. The animation contains actionscript 2.0loads external swf contains streaming soundsplay other sounds via actionscript. 4 scenes. When publishing the animation, it works fine, but when exporting it to .mov, the audio goes faster than the video.
Export setting:
Video:Compression type: H.264Frame Rate: CurrentKeyFrames: 4
Sound:Compressor: 24-bit integerRate: 48.000KhzSize: 16BitUse: Stereo
To be honest, I tried many other compression types and frame rates and keyframes, but nothing seem to work.
I tried:
- importing the external swfs into the original animation
- creating a streaming silence from frame 1 for continuous sound
- capturing the animation using CamStudio, but it's not smooth enough

Aug 16, 2010I'm trying to make a new site (Green DNA) and wanted to use a combination of flash and html At the top, I wanted to have the navigation bar as flash, and below the html content (like for example a blog).I wanted to create some cool animations using After Effects, and import them into flash. I was planing to use around 250-300 frames of animation total (800x270 pixels) and keep it the whole .SWF file below 2MB
My first attempt was to export the video from AE as a .SWF but the result was a 10 MB file Then, I tried to export as a PNG or jpg animation sequence... I was able to reduced each frame to about 27.0kb but the result was around 6mb file Then, I tried saving the animation as a .mp4 file (around 2mb) but I couldn't figure out how to imported on flash (I was using adobe bridge, but It kept changing my 800x270 pixel video into something that I didn't approved ( I tried multiple settings)

Jun 9, 2011I am having this issue with Flash CS5 Mac version:After making an animation, I export movie as Quicktime. When I view this movie, the animation leaves trails of color when an object moves across the screen, leaving behind little bits of color too. This does not happen when I export a SWF, but it does happen when I export a Quicktime movie. I export using Quicktime, so I can then I can export it into a flv in Adone media encorder.Why does this happen?

Dec 6, 2010export an animation sequence from flash to a video format. Looks like flash has Quicktime and Avi as options. However they both produce poor and jerky results. My animation is 750 by 545 pixels and running at 20fps - I have tried upping it to 25fps to see if it is a frame rate mismatch issue but similar rsults. For the record the anim plays perfectly as a swf. I have tried a third party swf to flv converter as flv is the format I desire but still jerky irregular playback
How can I get around this?

Apr 5, 2010I've searcehd but haven't found anything similar. I am trying to add animation to an educational video that I produced. I am new to Flash but already love it - have used for several presentations at work with my higher students and it's been really, really effective so far.
I have done two things: Imported an .flv of the video that I am trying to add animation to but only see the first and last shots in my timeline. How can I add text and tweens throughout the movie using flash? Or can't I?

Apr 14, 2010I am having a problem with a project for school. In a video I am making, I need to add animation over a live video. For example, in one scene, I have videotaped myself running.Now, I want to add the picture of a ghost chasing me. Both layers are moving. My question is, can I do this easily in flash? I have not used Flash before and if it is complicated, I would rather not to try. I've talked to some friends who have used Flash before and some say it is the perfect program for my need while others claim it would either not be able to do it, or be really hard to.
Is Flash suitable to my needs? If not, is there another program that is?

Started well then suddenly flash stopped the flv at certain points and then actions to other parts of the slideshow started to look like a fast forward and jumping transitions. Mar 28, 2010I want to import a video for optional playback into a flash animation. Now, the animation is a loop and replays after 120 frames or so. I noticed when I exported my moviemaker video and imported it into flash, it automatically asked me if i wanted it to arrange it to fit or not. the thing is, i don't want the video to automatically play like flash does for default. What i want is to be able to have it look like how a video looks in youtube 'before' you play it..you know how it has that 'arrow' sitting on it with a black screen showing
you that it's ready to be played if you want it to? well, that's what i want. so, if someone stumbles upon my animation loop on the web, they will see a little video in the upper corner that has the ability to play but it doesn't start
playing right when they get to the page.Also, when they play the video, the length is obviously longer than the loop of my animation, but I obviously don't want it cutting off when my loops ends and restarts, so is there a way to code where it will keep playing on it's own timeline apart from what the flash animation loop is doing? (it should be able to play all the way through, end, and be able to be played again no matter how many loops the animation goes through)second thing i want, is the video to be small..like maybe 220 X 180 in size.
when i exported in Moviemaker, I actually got a video size that I liked but the quality looked poor and sounded poor (I went with the Pocket PC export 148kbps or something like that). Now, was the quality poor just because Flash had to cut it off because of the animation loop restarting or is it going to be poor just cuz PocketPC export is a bad choice? In other words, what export choice should I go with in Moviemaker to get the desired results i want (with the desired width + height I want as well)?
Do you have to code to make it be a video that's got the arrow/blk bkgrd i.e. not playable til a user clicks...or do you just have to export it a certain way in Moviemaker to make it's format that way?
Flash :: Professional - Exporting Animation Into A Universal Video Format?
Oct 12, 2010Flash newbie here, using CS5 on a Mac. I've created several Flash animation files, all about 25 seconds long. The animations are fairly simple, about 6 layers each, but all contain a lot of movement. I need to turn the animations into videos that can be played on computers that don't have any Adobe programs, i.e. Quicktime. This is where my issue comes in. The published .swf files work wonderfully, but when I export the files to Quicktime video (.mov) the motion seems to leave a "trail" of images behind it. The static remnants go away after a few seconds but are replaced by new remnants of the current movement. I've played around with the quality and size of the videos, but nothing seems to have helped. I've tried used Xilisoft video converter to convert the .swf files into .avi or .mp4, but the files couldn't be uploaded. Does anyone have any recommendations as to what steps I could take to export my .fla or .swf files into high-quality video files?

Jun 9, 2010I'm having difficulties doing an animation here, all I'd like to do is create 30sec animation for a big screen (without sound). It needs to have an aspect ratio of 16:9 and be exported in the file format of either mov or wmv. Any recommends for settings to do this the best way?
So far I've made my flash document as large as possible at that ratio (36" x 20" ), created the timeline to 30 seconds and started importing my graphics and such. My biggest problem I've had is when I export to mov, the animations are slow and the video time is longer than what I've set. (whereas exported as avi, the animation is normal) Any ideas on how to counter this problem?

Jul 16, 2009Everytime I export a .gif animation the quality is horrible. As you can see by the picture attached it goes blury and has wierd colours. I have had animations export so bad that you can barely reconize them.

Jan 25, 2010I am facing a problem in one of my animation with flash CS4 - I have nested a Shape Tween in a Motion tween to get more control over the easers and effects, unfortunately I am not able to view on the timeline of my Motion Tween the action of the Shape tween nested inside.
It only show the first shape of the Shape Tween during the entire Motion Tween and that is really a problem for me because I need to see the final frame result of that Shape tween to be able to position it in a precise way on my scene according to other instances.

The problem is I have a theater stage where I tweened an animation to make it appear the curtain on the stage is going up but once it reaches it maximum height....the tween abruptly stops. I want it to HOLD there until a user clicks a button.
