I have made this animation, please click here to see it.

However am not happy with it because its not very smooth. I will like my animation like this [URL].
Im changing the quality of a loaded clip with this._quality = "low" to make the animation run smoother, but it affects the parent clip as well, which I don't want it to do.
I've got a tween which is called using an ENTER_FRAME event listener, as I need the movieclip to constantly tween until it's selected. However, the tween isn't very smooth, it's very jumpy and I'm guessing this has got something to do with the ENTER_FRAME event being constantly called. Is there a better way of creating a smoother tween?
Here's my code...
ActionScript Code:this.addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME, ballFloat);private function ballFloat(event:Event):void { var myTweenX:Tween = new Tween(this, "x", Regular.easeOut, this.x, randomXBoundary, 10, true); TweenX = myTweenX; }// end of ballFloat function
On a horizontal bar, text scrolls from left to right, continuously. The text is a fixed string of city names, and I've made it so that it loops nicely. This horizontal bar with scrolling text is part of a vertical animation, scrolling the bar in and out of view. The vertical tween starts after two seconds. When the vertical tween starts, the horizontal animation has started as well. At the beginning and end of the vertical tween, the horizontal tween starts over. I want it to continu.
I will have three seperate pages for the motion tween, mask effect and shape tween... would you make the seperately, in a different scene, as a symbol or on the same scene with the website.
I'm making a "master movie" for an assignment and I'm stuck right now. What I've got is an Intro page that will serve at the Parent.swf to load 4 other child swf's upon a mouse click. The problem is I have a theater stage where I tweened an animation to make it appear the curtain on the stage is going up but once it reaches it maximum height....the tween abruptly stops. I want it to HOLD there until a user clicks a button.
How would I make this happen? Here is the page in question: [URL]...
I'm trying to make an animation and it seems like an impossible task. I'm not a beginner, and this is harder than it first seems to be.So this is what I need: to make a tween between a partial small circle to a big circle. What I mean is I want to use the Oval Primitive tool and on frame 1 I'll have a circle (radius 100px) with Start Angle: 0 and End Angle: 230 and on frame 50 I'll need the same 100px circle with Start Angle: 0 and End Angle: 300.
I wanted to make a flash game,it's about some fish swiming in a tank. All the fishes swim randomly,i don't need any rotation, just left and right direction will be fine with me.But the result is their actions are really odd. how to make them swim just like real fishes? And there's also another problem. When the number of fishes increased to 50 or more, the framerate will drop rapidly.
Now I use Tweenlite to control the swiming action ,and it works very well. But the framerate still drops if i add more than 40 or 50 fishes to the tank.I think there must be a better way to do this.
Here's my code
public function onEnterFrame(event:Event):void{ var time:Number = Math.sqrt(Math.pow(xOffset,2)+Math.pow(yOffset,2))/speed; TweenLite.to(this,time,{x:x+xOffset ,y:y+yOffset*0.5 ,ease:Quad.easeOut,onComplete:moveComplete}); }*/
xOffset and yOffset in the code are random numbers
I have a problem where the images look a little pixelated because they have been scaled down alot, just need a way to make everything appear smoother.
I need the game I'm making to look high quality and also work at different resolutions so when I made all the graphics I made them massive and same for the stage size in flash.
The stage size is 2000*1500 and it's being scaled down to 800*600 which is an exact ratio, I didn't expect to see pixelization when scaling the images DOWN, that's why I made them so large.
If there's no options for smoothing things out, then does anyone know the best option for swapping images at run-time? This way I can have pre-made images for all the most popular resolutions.
I need to make a radial animation tween like a pie chart. I want it to start as a full pie and as the animation plays the pie gets smaller. It seems simple but I think I have to use actionscript to accomplish. Though I have no idea of how? I guess it has to do with a lot of math and using the actionscript drawing api.
ive made a flash banner 1000x500 with lots of objects tweening etc etc photos fading in and out,and ive being told to resize the banner size to 800x300but im having trouble when i do that,is there a way to get the everything that ive done into the 800x300 with out having to move all my objects around again and resizing each pic individualy,or do i have to start it from scratch again??
Is there a way to export it as AVI or any file type that support HD and get the same out put in SWF, i tried to export but the final output is very weak
I am facing a problem with one of my animation containing a 3D motion tween. When I play it, it is not fluid, it get stuck, the rendering is not good at all.
I want to use tween animation to move 6 or more images onto a stack in the middle of the stage. (I can do this). When all the images are in the stack, I want the images in the stack to disperse to various parts of the stage.
I have been producing animation on my Mac using shape tweens and hints where necessaryUnfortunately when these files are then opened on one of my colleague's PCs the shape tweens appear broken as the hints have dissapeared. If the file is opened on another Mac this does not happen.I have yet to spend too much time focussing on testing the whys and wherefores of this problem, but wondered if this is a recognised issue or is a one off
I'm learning flash animation and am wondering once I save the flash file to a dvd format, how does the end-user navigate when they put the dvd into their TV? Do I need to design and incorporate a menu for the end-user? If so, how does the TV remote control navigate through this menu that was created on a Mac computer?
I have 10 objects in 10 layers to make a single logo. I have created them using flash drawing objects. Now I would like each object to come one by one on stage using motion tween. How can I go further? Do I need to make each object a movie clip before set it motion tween? Or do I need to make a single movie with all 10 objects as combined? Please note that I need each object to come on stage one by one (not a whole logo on once). Please provide help or any example tutorial link.
Is it possible to make a animation using video clips? What I want to do is have the same clip playing side by side in a loop at different speeds - I would like the animation to play without it having to be clicked on too.

I made an animation using Adobe Flash, but I want to make the flash animation file like .exe (which i did by using adobe air)But I have a problem!I want to make it to appear on the desktop not in a frame.I mean to be like the Bonzi Buddy.I hope you understand me(my english is very bad and I'm sorry for thaht)
I want to make an e-card for a marriage in flash. The card opens from the top. How do i give an effect of the card being opened on click? or even the card being opened automatically!
I need to make a 1 minute long animation for today that incorporates these three elements:It must have a title and credits Must have at least one character that uses the bone tool It must have shape tweens (with hints)The quality doesn´t really matter, just so long as it´s not completely shoddy, or super professional, it just has to be done by today.
[URL]I'm trying to make an animation of electricity going through power lines.. (and just drawing lines in general) and I like how it was done in this video. I'm just not sure how to go about doing it.
I am designing a very long page. There will be a flash animation at the bottom of the pageI want this animation to play only when the user scrolls down and this flash object comes into view. How do I do this? I am quite familiar with flash and actionscript, so I just need some pointers.I have seen that this is already being used for advertisements. If you visitthere are ads that appear far below on the page. These ads play only when you scroll down and the ad appears within the browser window. This happens on many other sites as well. Many popular sites also use something like this. On CNN, try opening a new tab that loads a flash video. The video begins to play only when you actually go to that tab. Until you open the tab and the contents become visible in your browser window, the video doesn't start. How is this done?
In my original thread my answer was given and I only needed to take the information and tweak it to make it apply throughout other instances in the code. This is marked as answered. The way I constructed the code heBecause each Movie Clip is individually handled, I was explained by Ned Murphy on this forum that I need to insert code for each individual clip to send it back to start when it comes off the stage because it is structured to go to infinity with the movie symbols continuing on their path.I get that. ittle code to add was provided for an example clip that started at the top of the stage and went down, then when it goes off the stage, go back. In this case it was for MovieClip_1 (Out of 15) The red was the additional code (Provided by Ned Murphy who is IMHO a Guru here) that was added :
