I'd like to set-up AdBrite on my Flex 3 website. AdBrite suggested that I use an iFrame. I've never used an iFrame before.

So I would like to include pageTracker code in the iFrames that is being called.However the iFrames in this case are called from Flex. We are building a pop up and calling the iframes within the pop up.
In this scenario, what is the best way to include the pageTracker code to track and trasnfer the visitor and campaign cookies from one domain to the next?
I have a simple html doc with a flex app and an iframe side-by-side (using a 1x2 table).There is a button in the flex app that, when clicked, sets the "src" property of the iframe to a URL by using the ExnternalInterface.call method to call a javascript function "doNavClick(url)".Or that's the idea.When I comment out the iframe object declaration in the html, the call to doNavClick works (I pop up an alert to test)....yet when the iframe declaration is present, it doesn't even receive the call. It's as if the iframe has somehow broken the call dispatching mechanism.Is there a workaraound for this?The problematic code is as follows:

I have a html page with 4 iframes out of these 4 one is a static html page and other 3 are html generated by flex. I have a button and list in one of the flex applications and the list will be populated on click of the button. Now what I want is to have a custom busy cursor to appear on the top of the whole html page until the list gets populated.

I have started the vhost setup. I have cpanel on the server and I added the domain and it resolves to
the hosting account just fine pull up www.domain.com and goes to server.
I added the www.domain.com vhost. I pointed the application dir to /home/domain/public_html/applications/
I copied live over to applications dir. I setup user and pass for the virtual host login.
fellow action script programmers, I'm new to this forum and new to AS3, But I'm not not new to Flash. Anyways, I'm having an issue with my AS3 code and its ability to cooperate with an iFrame... I use to do this all the time in FP7 and FP8 but Adobe has changed how this works by making it all dependent code in AS3. Below is my code for AS to communicate to the iFrame, however it still goes to a new window. What is being done wrong here and what do I do to fix it?

How do you target html iframes with actionscript within a flash movie? I have several buttons I wish to have target a single frame. I know that in Actionscript 2.0 and 1.0 it only requires a small amount of code, so I assume 3.0 also only requires a small amount of code.

i'm attempting to resolve a problem with targeting. i would like to target multiple iframes from a link that has been pulled into a flash document. basically, the link needs to load a title and an mov file. the mov file has to be loaded into an iframe, but the title could be loaded into another dynamic text field.. i'm using a text file that is loaded into a dynamic text field. the link within the text file currently looks like this:

but it doesn't work. is there a problem with flash htmltext reading javascript? i even installed the flashjavascript gateway.
I am planing to setup all of controls ( more than 100 visible ) on a Flex application to alpha below 1, which will make them a bit transparent, but i am wondering if this will affect the performance of the application. Those server applications are meant to be accessed via AMF remoting from some client Flex application.Actually I have Maven and m2eclipse set up and working, local JBoss v6.0M2 running, Flex 4 plugin installed.Ideally, I would like to know how to create an eclipse project in which I can have both server (Java) and client (Flex) code and be able to deploy everything in one click to JBoss. Maybe there is a special Maven archetype for this setup? If not, I will be happy if someone can provide step by step instructions to setup all this stuff.

I replaced the default path:
class:org/granite/generator/template/remoteBase.gsp
With my file, like this:
class:myPackage/remoteBase.gsp
But every time Gas3 tries to create the .as of my classes I get a Resource not Found exception. I tried different paths but all gave me the same error.
I have a situation where I have to a have a few different sized "cameras" to send over a netstream depending on if its a desktop or mobile connected. Here's how I have it setup:

If i do JUST the nearCamForMobile and send that to the mobile versaion it looks great on the phone and it's not stretched. but then obviously its 480x800 resolution looks stretched on the desktop version which is a 385x240 video box. So if i do just the nearCam it looks great on the desktop but then it looks stretched on the mobile....
So what im curious is why Cant I do both vars the way I showed above, display the nearCam, and then have the nearCamForMobile waiting to be sent when i need it to?
Can you only have one camera mode setup at a time? On the mobile version its setup so the user is holding the phone in potrait and its 840x480. The desktop site looks best when its like a widescreen video.
In the end I'm basically trying to figure out how to have 2 camera vars with 2 resolutions. Display 1 on the near side and attach the other to the netstream in a situation where the far is a mobile client. (I know how to figure out if the far is mobile, im not worried about that part)
I just need to be able to transmit a resolution/aspect ratio that looks good for a mobile client. which happens to be in a different aspect ratio than the desktop cleint.
I have a streaming server (for pushing data not video) setup with GraniteDS and it works great. I have to include multiple swf files in a web page. Each of these swf files has a data table which includes streaming data(this is a specific requirement - so I really cant combine all data tables into 1 huge data table/swf file). All the swf files however, connect to the same gravity channel/streaming endpoint.
How many connections are there from the web page to the streaming server? Does each swf file start a new streaming connection? Or do all them share the same connection since they are just connecting to a single channel?
How can i benchmark a website ? i want to define how many user can i handle simultaneously. I don't think that matters but the site is a Flex application that consumes some services provided by tomcat's servlet

I want to make a button, on the click of which the browser becomes fullscreen. I am not talking about a flex fullscreen, by which i mean "Application.application.stage.displayState = StageDisplayState.FULL_SCREEN;" I dont want to use this.
The reason, I dont want to use it is, that flash does not supports keyboard on flex-fullscreen. But if i can make the browser fullscreen, it will solve my purpose.
I was wondering if there is a website from where I can download free mp3 files to use in my flex project? I am looking for some mp3 files using which I can create simple sound effects (e.g., you press a button, you hear a sound). I read flex can only play mp3 files, not wav files. Is this true? What's the best way to convert wav files to mp3?
