Sep 27, 2011I wanted to import an older FB project into the flash builder on my new pc, but I only have the filestructure. So I used 'import>existing projects into workspace'.The files seem to be intact still, but the project now gives me an error regarding an swc in the bin folder:

Feb 7, 2011I'm trying to embed a font in my project by using url("font.ttf") rather than local("Font Name"), but it doesn't seem to pick it up. The font in question is called "Gotham Bold". When i view the details of the font, the font weight is regular, however when i use local("Gotham Bold") in the css i have to specify fontWeight: bold or else it wont pick it up. But when I use url("folderGotham-Bold.ttf"), and specify fontWeight: bold, it says that font weight is not found for that TTF. If i remove the fontweight, there's no errors, but the font is not applied to the text.

" one or more files were not imported because there were problems reading them" I have tried importing the xml file into another dummy cs4 project on another machine and again no success, so I believe there are elements within the xml file that will not work with cs4. Below is the xml file code.

May 19, 2010Attempting to embed two weights of the same font will cause CS5 to produce a differently named font for each weight.
I've created a sample FLA that clearly shows the problem[url]...
When exporting CS5 will not set the bold flag on the fields defaultTextFormat, forcing this on (also show in the attached FLA) produces the correct result.
I've got big site-like project with hundreds of differently formatted TextFields; and this bug pretty much forces me to export my SWF assets in CS4 (where the behavious is correct)

Dependency is war->swf->swc.
With parent artifactId of swf, swc, war set to swf, swc, test respectively.On executing mvn on test folder(for that matter clean or anything) I get this following error.

Looks like its trying to download the project from maven's central repository instead of building it.
Flex :: Embedded Font In Alert Font-family Property Doesn't Working In 4
Jan 21, 2011I'm using Flex 4. I'm trying to apply a embedded font in all Alert components of the application, to get the same style that all the app, of course. I code in my CSS file:

The font-family worked to all componentes, but not to the Alert component. In alert the text message and title got unvisible. If I change to other font-family it works correctly, just the embedded font doesn't work on Alert component. Anyone got this problem? Obs: The embedded font worked in all the app, just the Alert no.
Flash :: Specify Fallback Font In Adobe Flex When Some Character Range Is Not Available In Primary Font?
Mar 23, 2011In my application I'm using a custom embedded font for English (Helvetica New) which does not contain characters (glyphs) for chinese unicode range. In the application, wherver chinese characters are avaiable they are not displayed (suppressed) since they are missing in the custom embedded font. How can I make the flash player to use a fallback system font for the missing characters? And the fallback should be for the missing characters alone. For the Engligh characters it should use the embedded font.

ActionScript 3.0 :: Use Flex Classes From Flex Library Project?
Mar 4, 2012If I create a Flex Library project, am I able to use Flex classes from within the library?
The reason I ask is because I'm working in a Flex Library project and trying to use the mx.rpc.soap package. I can import the the package without an issue, and even get code hinting making me think the package is available. Of course I can even see the swcs included in the project. However, when I try to instantiate the WebService class, I get an error when building. Flash Buidler IDE doesn't tell me what the error is, and I don't go into debug mode when I continue with building. I haven't tried connecting to the service yet, just importing the Class and creating a new instance.

They work everywhere else, and substituting "Comic Sans MS" for "titleCGF" changes it to Comic Sans. So why won't it work with my custom fontFamily?

Is it possible (or, what is the best way) to preload the whole project first, including the external SWFs?
