I opened up FB3 today, without making any changes, I press F11 and now I am getting this error that I never have gotten before: ReferenceError: Error #1065: Variable CaratPicker2_inlineComponent1 is not defined.
I find it strange I am getting this error everytime now, when I never got it before and I didn't make any changes before I started getting it. Anyways it is coming from line 78 which is <mx:Component> the start of an inline item renderer.
So any ideas how or why this error is being thrown? I have never seen an error like this before and the message isn't very clear to me as to what the issue is.
I have a problem with inline components. I want to reach an inline component from another one.. From the first component, i want to change "enable" value of the linkbutton named "Add" which is in second component. Altough i gave "id" and "className" to second one, i could reach neither it nor its elements.. is there a way to do this?

How to set inline style sheet to htmltext of textfield component as mentioned in the xml CDATA. At present , i am using textfield.htmlText propert , but i am not able to get the fontfamily as mentioned in the xml CDATA. The text is also not getting displayed in the correct format. I have a custom AS3 component in a very simple MXML file. The custom component just loads an external SWF using SWFLoader.If you look at the output (below) you'll see it's actually loading the SWF only once, but it instantiates it twice!! I have a flex3 component(US heat Map) which accepts a arrayCollection (state and value pairs). I need to create a webdynpro wrapper for this to use in Visual Composer 7.2.
What I am trying to do is migrate the flex components I made for Visual Composer 7.0 (using a VCXL wrapper) to Visual Composer 7.2 using web Dynpro. I have managed to migrate components which require simple input data types like integer or string, but I am stuck at those which require complex structures like an array collection.
I'm trying to set the height of a vertical bar (activityBar) but it does not appear to do anything. i have tried something similar with the whole component, but setting the dimensions does nothing (even in the mxml used to instantiate the class). Indeed, I've added transparent graphics just to give the component some dimensions
FYI: I'm trying to create a mic activity bar that will respond to the mic by simply setting the height of the activityBar child (which seems to me to be more efficient than redrawing the graphics each time).

I am using flex builder 3.2, Action Script 3 and develop for Flash Player 10 and am quite new to it. when I call a method of a self defined class, I get the 1061 error (not defined). But the class and the method exist and are public, so what the hell am I doing wrong? Flash Builder is even offering me this method in the auto-completion, so at least the builder knows it... I have already tried cleaning the project (as this is the common source of strange errors when working with java/eclipse),
edit: solved... The problem was that a package had the same name as the variable I used for the class. Very strange error message, thumbs down for this .

Is there any way to create a textInput box for flex mobile with inline image without using textflow ?Basically i need a text input component , so that user can just use it as normal text input box but to it images can also be entered inline with text. I have a php/mysql backend which allows user to enter descriptions in a form. The editor is the Innova editor and automatically turns <strong> and <b> tags into <span style="font-weight: bold;">. When I retrieve the xml in flash cs3 and output it in a textfield the text paragraphs and all spacing is preserved however, bold and italics etc. don't render at all.

Working on a site where I want site admins to be able to upload swf and/or flv files inline in a content's body together with text,images, etc. I'm currently using the WYSIWYG module (with CKEditor). Basically, what I need is something like [URL] but for flash content. I've looked for something similar but without success.
I want to load a MovieClip inside a TextField inline with the text.
The TextField documentation says "HTML text that you assign to a text field can contain embedded media (movie clips, SWF files, GIF files, PNG files, and JPEG files)."
How can this be done with MovieClips? There must be a listener we can override.
