Php :: CollabNet Subversion Edge Ignore Files

May 25, 2011

I use CollabNet's Subversion Edge to manage a repository for a PHP/ActionScript based project I am building in the Eclipse IDE. In my project's root folder, Eclipse included several configuration files that aren't directly related to the project. How can I set up my repository to ignore these files/folders via CollabNet? Would it be through the "Repository Access Rules"?

Flex :: Importing A Subversion Repository?

Sep 22, 2011

I'm having problems: I create a new repository in Subclipse that points to a URL. When I check out the code and it creates a Flex Builder project, I am getting errors that relate to issues with the .actionscriptProperties and .flexProperties files. So, I was told to just create a new FB project and point the src folder to where SVN is on my machine.

I'm guessing that until I do something like import my repository....it's nowhere on my machine. But when I imported it, it appeared to try and take every existing FB project I had and add it to SVN. That's not what I want.How do I do this right? What am I missing?

Actionscript 3 :: Managing A Core Library In Subversion

Sep 15, 2010

This is giving me major headaches! I'm having trouble even describing the problem in words. Basically, I want to be able to manage a core library (coreLib) of Actionscript classes with the following requirements: latest version is checked out when a new project starts. a dev can make changes to the coreLib and then commit them back into the repo as project is written (maybe bug-fixes, added features, etc.) the project contains a 'snapshot' of the coreLib so that, if returned to months later, it (as automatically as possible) has a copy of the coreLib that has guaranteed compatibility with the project.

I tried using externals but this can break compatibility going backwards. I'm currently exporting the coreLib into the project and its VC'd along with the project. I can't figure out how to get the changes back into the repo though, without just copying over the top and losing history.

Flash :: Flex - Integrating Subversion Revision Into Exe/swf File?

Apr 15, 2011

I recently I followed this great guide to integrate the subversion revision into exe/dll files generated from my c++/c# visual studio projects. Now I can easily right-click on an exe-file to find which revision was used to build the binary (see image below). I love this feature.

Is this possible to do the same in flash/flex when building air/stand-alone applications? I would like to tag both exe file and dlls.

Update with solution: Although the ANT-based solutions provided here aren't as smooth as the one where the svn info is burnt into .exe/.dll files (in my opinion), it has solved my problem and is now implemented in our productions. My setup is based both on Kevin's and frankhermes's answeres but uses SubMCRev.exe instead of svn.exe or jar files. In our implementation we dump the svn revision to the logfile at startup. The output from the SVN target below looks like this: Built with SVN Revision: 1.0.0.1181 (local modifications found)

Svn :: FDT Code Assist Broken On Project Uploaded To Subversion Repository

Feb 4, 2012

I recently started working in FDT (used to work with FlashDevelop) and I encountered a very strange problem. When I make a new project everything is fine, I can code without problem in as3 and also using the flixel engine is no problem. However, as soon as I checkout a project from subversion, the code assist breaks. The code still works, the program executes without errors. But instead of giving me a few option when I type "FlxG." it just gives me a lot of options regarding 'metadata'. I have looked at a lot of places but I can not find the answer anywhere.

ActionScript 3.0 :: Ignore SSL Certificate Errors?

May 18, 2011

My flash client connects to my server (running locally). Some of the files that it requests are requested over SSL.The certificate is signed for "localhost".I originally got around the "un-trusted certificate" error by adding my localhost certificate to my Windows trusted root store. But now I'm stuck.To allow me to test my SWF on different computers on the same network, I've changed the string "localhost" to my computer's IP address.However, now when I try to load the file through https, flash detects that "192.168.1.68" is actually "localhost" and thinks we're being MITM'd.Now, considering I develop on my laptop and the laptop interchanges between atleast 2 different wireless routers a day - usually 5 or 6 - you can imagine my IP changes rather a lot. This means it's not really feesable to re-create certificates over and over again.

I have a solid movie clip that is overlayed with a grid movie clip. Actually they are sprites. The solid sprite underneath has a MOUSE_OVER event. I have set mouseChildren and mouseEnabled on the grid sprite to false so that it receives no events. The problem is that when I go over a grid line the sprite underneate still receives the MOUSE_OUT and then the MOUSE_OVER event again. Is there anyway to make the grid completely transparent to the mouse so that it won't trigger the MOUSE_OUT and MOUSE_OVEr events for the sprite underneath over and over?

Java :: Make BlazeDS Ignore Properties?

Feb 10, 2011

I have a java class which has one field with getter and setter, and a second pair of getter and setter that access this field in another way:

public class NullAbleId {
private static final int NULL_ID = -1;
private int internalId;

[Code]....

(the reason for this construction is that I want to build a way to hande Nullable Intergers)

On the Flash/Flex client side, I have a Class with two properties: id and internalId (the id properties are only for testing, at the end they should return the internalId value)

BlazeDS seams to transfer both values: id and internalId, because both have a complete getter setter pair. I want Blaze not to transfer id, only internalId should be transferred.

Flex :: Ignore Mouse Focus On Tool-tip?

Sep 27, 2011

I've created something that works like a ToolTip in my Flex application. When I roll over a certain item renderer, I pop up a new control, position it, and remove it on roll out. The order of operations is like this:

Roll over event handler triggered. Add the tooltip to this.systemManager.topLevelSystemManager.toolTipChildren. On creation complete of my tooltip, set x, set y coordinates of the tooltip (on creation complete so the width and height are calculated since they are dynamic). Roll out event handler triggered. Remove tooltip.

This worked fine when I set the x and y coordinates to be x+10, y+10 from the current mouse position. I wanted to add something that re-positioned the tool-tip if it was going to be drawn partially off screen. I added a step that would calculate if it would be drawn off screen, and re-position the tooltip if it was going to be cut off.

The problem with my solution seems to be that it now runs in an infinite loop of redraws, since adding the tool-tip to the screen underneath the mouse triggers the "rollOut" on the item renderer. This triggers the removal of the tooltip, and starts the process over again from 1.

is there any way to ignore tooltip so it doesn't take the mouse focus away from the item renderer that is now under it?

Actionscript 3 :: Ignore NativeWindow Event Listener

this works fine.

I also have a button inside this rectangle, and when I click the button the window drags just like if I had clicked on the rectangle.

How can I stop this from happening? I tried removing the event but that didn't work, I don't even know which event to remove, the mouseDown or NativeDrag event... There is no stopDrag() function in nativeWindow.

ActionScript 2.0 :: Flash Ignore Text Characters?

Mar 19, 2010

I've created a quiz in flash that reads in questions and answers from an external xml file. E.g (xml).

<question q="allons-nous? = are we going/do we go?"
ans_a="allons-nous?"
right="a">

I have been asked to develop the quiz further so it ignores the case the answer is typed in (which I guess is possible using toLowerCase) and also to ignore any ! or ? symbols the user might type in .I assume the only way to accomplish this is to check the answer against a range of possible answers in the XML eg.

<question q="allons-nous? = are we going/do we go?"
ans_a="allons-nous?"
ans_b="allons-nous"
right="a",right="b">//this lines probably wrong

Does anyone know if there is any way of getting flash to ignore symbols if they are typed in?
