Aug 21, 2010i'm trying to make a quick and easy personal flash website in a short period of time, and i've decided to use 'pictobrowser' [URL] software to create a slideshow gallery easily (my flash knowledge isn't great and my time is limited!). basically it pulls photo info from my flickr sets and creates a slideshow- but all it gives me is some html coding and i'm not sure how to incorporate this into the flash file so it loads every time the page loads.

Apr 14, 2011So I have a dynamic text field that is loading an external .txt file with html coding in it.I can get the text to load and display properly, however I now want to make a custom scrollbar and I have no clue how to even get it to work.I've tried a few things and just can't figure it out. I want to make a custom one instead of using the component one. It doesn't even have to be a traditional scrollbar, I would much rather just use an up and down arrows. Jul 27, 2011I have created a SWF file using Flash that loads an FLV file on my local development machine.When publishing the SWF file and generating the appropriate HTML, I can successfully load the video by opening the generated HTML page that Flash creates.However, when placing the generated HTML code in my View,the Flash is loading, but the video is not playing.I think it's a reference error to the location of the FLV file, but I've tried every combination I can think of.I placed the SWF and FLV in the corresponding View folder where I want the video to load, but to no avail.

Mar 1, 2012What I have is a flash media player, and I want this to float on top of our forum such that when a user scrolls down, the media player follows.
I have yet to find a way to make it sit above html. It always pushes it down.

Apr 20, 2011I have an HTML website with a flash header and dropdown menu.In the beginning, the flash dropdown menu would not show at all untili found the wmode=transparent trick.The menus are now showing properly except for one specific page wherethe text on the page show up OVER the dropdown menu. In all otherpages, the dropdown menu shows up on top of any text that may be inthere.There's nothing on that particular page jumping at me that would causethe problem. In fact, the page uses the same CSS file as the otherpages. I'm really clueless.I'm not sure if it's a flash problem or HTML/CSS problem.
The only difference i could think of was that the page was called froma combobox change event. But i switched the page called to anotherpage i know works with the menu and it was fine. So the problem doesnot come from the combobox calling the page, it really is the pageitself.Does anyone have a clue?Working page sample (sorry its in french)click on Nos Services. In order to get listed on an advertising website with a higher rating, I have to place a reciprocal link to them on my site. Feb 9, 2012I can view it in my browser by going directly to the file however when it is embedded the photos will not load. The images it loads has to be in the same directory as the .swf file and as i stated it clearly works when going directly to the file but not once it has been embedded.
